Ordered take out from them informed me ready in 10 great quick and fast considering we were like yes they do pick up now. Ordered a large pie with meatball. Got there in 15 minutes and said I'm here for pickup. The nice young lady which I'll assume is the waitress said still not ready you can take a seat at the bar. Minutes pass and about 5 mins later I'll assume she's the boss lady asked if I've been helped. Told her I'm there for pickup and she's like hrmmm She found my pizza boxed in the back. Great so my pizza was on time but genius hostess can't be bothered to help. Whatever I just wanted to go home and scarf it down. Got home and uhhh the pizza was not what I was expecting. Thought it'd be more like a neopolitan style but the cheese was of the shredded variety? Who knows one side of the crust was burnt hmm yummy! My husband works right next door and we never came here because of all the bad reviews. We finally went Friday night at 8:30 and there was a half hour wait. Staff advised the correct wait time and was very pleasant. Good selection of craft beer on tap. They have Queens, Brooklyn and Bronx Ales, which is cute. Meatball Appetizer with Sauteed Onions and Hot Peppers was to die for. I would eat that every day if I could. Traditional Pizza Pie was good but nothing amazing. Sauce, cheese and toppings were delicious. They use real olives not the canned stuff. The pizza was overly burnt on the edges and soggy on the inside like others describe but it still tasted good. When we brought home leftovers and heated them in the oven for longer it tasted amazing. I think they are still seasoning the pizza oven and working out the kinks. Service was attentive and pleasant and the atmosphere is really vibrant. I will be back to try the entrees and if the meatballs are any indication I think I will be pleased. read more

Great pizza at the Whitestone location. Even better than the original Patsy's uptown! The place was pretty busy but the service and the food was still fantastic. I wish I can give a 0 star but 1 star is the lowest I can grade them. We ordered a margarita pie via seamless at 7:59PM tonight. At 9:30PM, I called the restaurant. They said that the delay was due to their wifi issue. They finally delivered at close to 10PM with a cold badly cut margarita pie. Will never order takeout from them again. The food was boring and tasteless. The pasta was overcooked. The Bolognese was REALLY light on the meat---basically a flavorless tomato sauce. One dish was prosciutto and tomato. I would pay anyone to find any prosciutto in the dish and the tomatoes were absolutely flavorless...The service was average...they forgot part of my order...did not even apologize. Don't come here during busy times!!! Food is good but the wait for the food, not worth it! It'll def ruin your night! It was 45 mins before we got out apps/entree. Another 45 for pizza after that. Love this little place tucked away in North Queens, my wife and I have been here twice so far. Since the area is not very conducive to street parking, the parking lot in the back was very convenient. We were greeted with a smile and seating was comfortable. Our server was Lisa and she was friendly, made excellent suggestions and was such a sweetheart. To start, the garlic bread they give to snack on is very tasty, I would totally pay for it as an appetizer. Sampled the Pasta e Fagioli as an appetizer. It was not as thick as I'm used to, but it was good just the same. We ordered a large thin crust pizza. It was one of the best we've ever had. Service has definitely improved. Plus they've added several yummy dishes, in particular the prosciutto di parma pizza and arancini. We brought family over from SFO for Sunday brunch and we were all impressed by the volume, the service and the food. Unfortunately, I have to knock off a star because of consistency. While I know food quality degrades for take-out, it shouldn't vary that much. Take out service is still an issue even though they created a separate counter for it from the bar. (Orchiette pasta stuck together, bread & utensils are often missing.) I'm reluctant to get take out but happy to sit down for a meal - if my kids ever let me eat. I think this place has potential. Thy just really need to work a few kinks out. The fried meatballs were ok, a bit dry it needed some sauce on the side The marguerita was fine. I agree with the reviewers that say give this place a break in regards to their service. I've been there 3 times on opening week and once yesterday and I can tell you that the wait staff has already made vast improvements (taking our orders faster & more accurate, checking on our table more frequently, refilling drinks without us asking, etc). So if that's been your biggest gripe, I'd say don't let that keep you from going again. Some other improvements are: free bread before the meal, all spices are now at each table (previously had to ask for them), and an additional bench outside. Management seems to care about the feedback they get so I feel good about this place going forward. As for the food, the quality is great. The pizza is delicious and their pasta dishes have tasty sauces. Also try their cheeseburger - it's surprisingly good. read more

Honestly a great experience. It may have been an early dinner and there wasn't too many customers, our waitress Catherine was attentive as ever. Orders came at a timely manner and they were all delicious. Had the calamari and a small red and white pizza for appetizer and you could taste the freshness of the food. Penne alla vodka with chicken cutlet for my entree and it did not disappoint. Overall it was for my moms bday dinner and the service we had along with the food made it 200 times better. So disappointed with my order tonight. We order from Patsy's sporadically, usually just a pizza. It's a hit or miss. Most times the pie comes to us cold and we only live a couple of blocks away. Tonight we decided to order 2 pasta dishes and an appetizer. They said 45 minutes which was pretty accurate. We unpack our 2 pasta dishes and no bread. We just spent $60.00. I would say it's overpriced too! I call and the women answering the phone apologized, but said we are just so busy we only give bread if requested! Really! How would I know that?! She says he will bring it back to us. Well we open our dinners and they are cold!! Call her back and tell her forget bread and our dinners are cold, once again she apologized and said they are just so busy they try to get the dinners out as fast as possible. How is that my problem.
