And then we also wanted to have our warping wooden floors, sanded, and refinished. I was able to schedule to have Adolfo come out and give a quote, very quickly, and they were patient with us, even though we didn't want the work done right away. The quote was very fair and they let us know exactly what to expect. He had samples with him, and I was able to choose the color of carpet and what we wanted done with the wood flooring. Adolfo even saved me from making a mistake of staining a floor that didn't need it. They were great with scheduling and completing the work even ahead of schedule. It looks amazing. I wish I had some before pictures. We did not realize what a difference sanding our wood floors would make! The communication with Karin, in their office was fantastic from start to finish. It's a wonderful family run business. I recommend them wholeheartedly.

I texted Paul some pictures, and he was able to give me a quote over the phone. Once I agreed to move forward, he got me scheduled pretty quickly. Luis came out and explained what needed to be done. Since the original composite floor panels are no longer made, he had to cut individual pieces of white oak to match the exact size and keep the original look of the panels. You could tell a lot of time and care went into it. After carefully piecing everything together, he sanded and finished it to match the original color of the floor. Honestly, when it was done, I could not tell the difference. The repair blended in perfectly with the original floor. Really impressed with the craftsmanship and attention to detail. So while my refrigerator remained plugged in in my living room, I needed to find a good flooring company asap! I called around like 8 places and no one was able to come out sooner than in a week (some told me two weeks!) when I finally called Flooring Warehouse Center. Mohammad picked up the phone and was immediately helpful. He suggested we FaceTime so he could see my kitchen floor and from there he was just absolutely amazing. He was patient, knowledgeable and was genuinely interested in helping me out. He had one of his guys - Eduardo (who's also awesome!) come out to our house after his last job to demo my kitchen that same day, cement the next and on the 3rd day the floors were in. Even found great flooring he had in stock. When no one else bothered to work overtime or even tried to help me out, Mohammad and Eduardo did and did it with absolute kindness, commitment and confidence. Originally I called him last month to regrout outdoor stairs tile. In the course of removing the…read moregrout , he said that the underlayment was water damaged and he removed 5 treads of tile to explore and possibly replace the undergarment. It was water damaged, and the risers and the treads had to be replaced. However, he "doesn't do wood "so I had to engage someone else to replace the plywood on the risers and the treads, which I did. He returned and we went jointly to Dahl tile to have me buy some Triton water board and some red guard for waterproofing. He wanted me to use a Schluter metal edge guard as opposed to replicating the original 45° mitered edge where the riser tile and the tread tile come together in a grouted joint. That design change ( which is easier on the installer) would result in a metal half inch rim /strip running across the top of all the stairs risers . I have quite a bit of this tile inside and outside my house and it's all done in that tile edge to tile edge fashion without an intervening and visible metal strip He said he's unable to adjust his tile saw to that 45 degree angle and was not gonna be able to apply the tile in the original angled edge to angled edge configuration withOUT the Schluter edge. I asked him why he's telling me after he had removed the tile and a visit to the Dahl tile that he could not install the tile in the original configuration . He became annoyed and agitated and essentially walked off from the job site at 10am with the removed tile and 5 buckets of trash and a stack of unused triton board that I had paid for (that he did not fully install ) .,,,, just sitting there on my patio I never heard from him again. I never had anybody walk off a job site like that , especially after getting that deep into the job. Maybe he is good with grout repair ... Doubt I will ever know .

This man's integrity and communication skills are severely lacking…read more We were gathering quotes for laminate flooring to be put down over particle board that was under very damaged carpeting we had pulled up. William (Bill) Moran was not the least expensive quote we received, but after reading his Yelp reviews we decided to go with him. He was not the most friendly or well-spoken guy I had dealt with (the initial call I placed sent me to his cell phone and he blamed me for calling the wrong number - one I'd gotten from Yelp), but he seemed to know what he was doing and told me he could start the job the following week on a Wednesday. When I emailed with him to confirm that we wanted him to do the job, I asked him to start on the date he'd initially told me he was available; turns out he wasn't available that date after all, so we set another date, a Thursday. I paid a deposit (a check he cashed with no problem) and signed a contract, laying out the schedule for the work and payment (Thursday and Friday). My husband was told his check was going to be late that week; so he called Bill right away to let him know that we'd have to pay him a day later than originally agreed upon. Understandably, Bill wasn't happy about it, but said rather than starting the job on good faith, he'd prefer to start the job Monday. Said, "see you Monday"...all confirmed. Today is Sunday; he was scheduled to begin work Monday - tomorrow. YESTERDAY I got a call from Bill saying he wanted to see if we were still confirmed for Monday, and to "call back when we got a chance". I was gone the entire day and didn't get home until after midnight, when I received his message. This morning at 9am, he calls and cancels the job that was to begin TOMORROW, leaving us living on particle board with no flooring and no carpeting, and no one to work on our floor, saying he's already got another client scheduled for a 6-day (i.e. MORE $$) job, and that he can't cancel on them. This man gave my husband a lecture on "how we do business". Yet this is how he turns around and runs his business? I'm glad we found out what kind of "business" this man really runs now, I'm only upset that we are left two weeks after initially setting the work dates starting from scratch and yet another delay to getting our flooring done. I would NEVER recommend this man for a job; regardless of his actual work, his work ethic is at issue here. BUYER BEWARE. The following is my email in response to William (Bill Moran) of Culver City's email to me, claiming he didn't have a choice because he'd set this date ALSO with his other client two weeks ago: My husband confirmed with you last week that we were definitely going to do Monday, because that is the day you pushed it back to because of my husband's check being available Friday (as opposed to Thursday). Your message yesterday was not only unwarranted as we had already confirmed, it also said to call "when we got a chance" and as I said, I had a show all day yesterday, leaving the house at 10am and I didn't return home until after 1am. You said NOTHING about another job, you said NOTHING about needing confirmation to avoid losing the opportunity. You absolutely had a choice. You are a business owner. You made the choice to put us off, knowing full-well we are living on no flooring or carpeting with 5 children in the house. If you "decided a date two weeks ago" with your other clients then you had no business pushing back our date or promising to do the job Monday (TOMORROW). You gave my husband a big lecture over the phone about "how we do business"; this is not an honest way to do business. I understand that you were inconvenienced by the balance for the supplies not being available Thursday, but YOU made the choice to put off the job, and now we are paying for it. He never asked to break up the amount or haggled with you on the price (which, by the way, you weren't the best price we were quoted but because of your Yelp reviews and online reputation we chose to go with you); we had every intention of giving you the full amount as promised and on time upon completion of the job - as described in the contract. My husband chose to be honest with you about the situation rather than giving you a check that may not have cleared, and you chose to change the date, not us. Update: William's response to my posting is a flat-out LIE to try and save face on Yelp. He put up $605 "of his own money" for supplies. We asked to postpone ONE DAY, which he AGREED to. Then....well, you can read what happened above. He even messaged me privately admitting that he should have asked if we could wait until after the labor day holiday, since he'd double-booked us when he pushed back the installation day. Then proceeded to threaten me with posting "his side of the story" if I didn't take the review down. Please. The bottom line is William Moran's Flooring did bad business.

My fiancé removed the fake wood, which left the floor with numerous holes and splintered, broken pieces. Richard and his brother did thorough and meticulous work to patch and replace all the damaged pieces. He did the floors in the living room, dining room and 3 bedrooms (including closets).
