When I called to reschedule the receptionist literally said "yeah, that doctor takes a lot of time off in the summer." Next available appointment is two months from now after I've already been pushed off for months and I have no guarantee he'll actually show up to that one either. This has happened multiple times with this doctor and this practice. I've been asked to see his associates more than once due to his frequent cancellations. 100% do not recommend. Family life comes first, always, but the disregard this practice and its doctors has for patients is astounding. Good doctors are a dime a dozen. Don't waste your time or money on this practice.

It turned out there was a mistake in the prescription so I had to go back to my optometrist to get it changed. When the new glasses came in, Dr. Beals and the staff checked them again and made sure they were right. All at no extra charge! Show up for your appt early, wait an hour+ to see a nurse, then wait another 2+ hours to see the doctor who leaves a lot to be desired. His "beside" manner is atrocious. While I get he's a doctor, he talks to patients like they are total idiots and beneath him. If you need an eye specialist I'd recommend finding someone else - unless you're into waiting HOURS at your appointment and being talked to like you're dumb.

One day after the implantation my appointment with Dr Klisovic said , I was doing so well I did not need to come back. My pressures were. 10 and I was seeing perfectly out of both eyes. Next, I had to meet with Dr. Derick,a few days later.. At the appointment my vision was even better when tested by his nurse. My nightmare: Dr. Derick wanted to trim the suture that controlled the flow of vitreous, but not to sever the suture. My wife warned him if he cut the suture I could go blind. This foolish man cut the suture and said I would be fine. 12 hours later my eye pressure was "0", and I was blind. I remain blind two years later almost to the day. She had expected to be seen by Dr. Derick after her surgery the prior day but was passed off to two very young people who stated they were doctors and had my aunt angry, confused and afraid to return. The fear of losing her vision had her terrified but Dr Derick contacted my aunt that same evening and asked her to come in for a second visit and would be seen by him. Upon our arrival we were were escorted to the back by the most amazing young lady named "Bree" . She explained every process clearly to my aunt so she could understand what was happening during her visit. She was so kind and sweet to my aunt and had her relaxed for Dr Deric's arrival to the treatment room. Dr. Derick, treated her with kindness and compassion and was able to explain to us, all the issues that my aunt had concerns about, giving her some comfort and relief. I didn't notice right away, but what I did see isn't good and after multiple occurrences I have to assume corporate is driving some inscrutable practices. WATCH YOUR RECEIPTS! On 3 occasions they have added a supposedly optional EYEWARE PROTECTION charge and never explained what it is or how to use it. We always decline it. We usually pay for our glasses out of our FSA account. When they stick on this protection it gets rejected by our FSA account and it causes our account to get frozen until we send a check to the account management to cover that charge. They have done this to us twice. This time after losing a pair of reading glasses I called and asked for replacements. I asked for exactly what I had on my previous visit. After not hearing for 3 weeks, I called and was told they weren't in yet and they would call me. They called me 20 minutes later saying, "They just came in today" I went and picked them up. I told the I was using my FSA card. When I got home I saw a $30 charge for the supposedly optional coverage that they didn't tell me they added, despite me telling them to duplicate my previous order which didn't have it. We have told them repeatedly the problem is causes so I didn't think to look till I got home, Fortunately they did void the entire bill and re-enter without the additional charge by phone. I'll see how this works out.
