If i could give 0 reviews i would. My boyfriend went in to get glasses and some fat lady i didn't get her name with a red mark by her eye seemed like she was in a rush. I stepped outside to take a phone call and my boyfriend was waiting for me to help him choose , he then started telling me that she kept trying to rush him. I then come inside being on the phone and he showed me the options he liked and went with ones so i stepped back outside to continue my call. He comes out a proceeded to tell me that she was being rude and even told him " you waited all this time just for her not to help you " who says that ? and why does it matter to you. The service was good, but the billing seems a little shady and they won't correct it. You get charged one amount when you're there, you pay and they bill your insurance company for a totally different amount with no valid explanation or something that makes no sense whatsoever. Not much variety, especially if you have a basic insurance plan; the Medical shelf is pretty sad. They've tried to push me to buy frames by opening a line of credit. Receptionists are Ok, tho I've been left on hold for almost 20min before and then they hung up on me. smh @ patricia Receptionists also told me my insurance plan covers exams every 2 years and frames every 3. I would love to give my optometrist of probably 15 years a five star review. If it was just based off of the doctor, it would be a five star review. She's great. She actually did something really great for my contact lens setup. It's been working out great for me. It's everything else in this office that has been falling apart lately. I ordered glasses as I always do. I was told they would call me when they came in from the lab. I never got that phone call. I called a couple of times to check on them and I was promised multiple times I would receive a phone call when they arrived. I didn't. I called again and sure enough they were finally u in. I set up the appointment and went to pick them up. During my appointment I noticed a scratch on one of the lenses straight from the lab. The employee apologized for the scratch and promised to put a rush on making it right. She promised to call me when my glasses arrived. I waited probably a couple weeks without hearing anything and called to check on them. They had not heard anything about them and promised to call the lab and let me know what was going on. I didn't hear anything on the day they promised to call me so I called them. They hadn't called the lab. They promised to call the lab and call me back. They finally called me back and let me know it would be a few more days before my glasses would be in. After my glasses finally came in, I set up the appointment to pick them up and picked them up without issue. I know all the rules for cleaning glasses. All the do's and don'ts. I've been wearing glasses and contacts for a long time. Usually I'm kind of lazy with taking care of my glasses, but with that scratch resistant coating it's usually about a year before I get any real scratches on my glasses. Well, this time, I have some scratches within a few weeks. I can honestly say I have taken really good care of my glasses this time around. So far I have followed all their instructions including only using the Crizal cloth they come with to clean them. I've done everything right but I have multiple scratches all over both lenses. If I had to pay out of pocket for these glasses it would cost me about $800. That's not cheap. I have everything on them including the scratch resistant coating. I know that because of that scratch resistant coating they have a warranty and I can take them back for repair and all that. The point is I shouldn't have scratches on them. After babying them for a matter of weeks there should be zero scratches. I'm convinced that there is something going on with the lab they use. This is not normal. This should not be happening on such an expensive pair of glasses with the scratch resistant coating. I'm not really sure what I'm going to do at this point, but I'm pretty sure I won't be going to this optometrist in the future. I'm actually very disappointed by this. They are close to my workplace and I've been going there a very long time. I hate to leave them but this is too many issues now. Like I said, I hate to leave anything less than a five star review considering how great the doctor is, but these reviews have to be based off of the overall experience read more

Some staff are rude not helpful, had an appointment but advised couldn't order new glasses for my daughter until I had the actual insurance card, I asked if I could have it emailed or any way around staff said absolutely not! I then waited 2 weeks for the new card made another appointment and was never asked fir insurance card, now after that I was told it would take 8 weeks for new glasses, I won't be coming back here or referring over!!! read more

Excellent customer service. I have been coming here since I was a kid. Now I take my family and have never experienced any issues. We have always had an excellent experience. The girls that work the front and especially Patty the manager are all very friendly and helpful. They go out of there way to make sure your happy. When I arrived at the doctor's office for an appointment I went into the office and was promptly asked to move my car. I was told I had parked in the doctor's parking spot. The parking spot had no markings or any indication that it was reserved. I promptly canceled my appointment and left as I believe the customer should come first in any business. read more

My experience is exasperating and it seems never ending. Name misspelled, date of birth wrong. 3 months to get the right fit contact lenses 6 months to get an incomplete prescription. The optometrist was good! She was patient and thorough. At first I thought she had the wrong measurement because I couldn't see with my new prescription but it turns out I have difficult eyesight for contact lens wear. However she did not give up and she found me a brand that would fit comfortably. The problem is the administrative staff. Although very polite, they are not good at returning calls, mailing prescriptions, they make careless mistakes that cost invaluable time and money. As I mentioned my name was miss spelled my date of birth was wrong, the prescription they sent to my contacts service was the wrong one which caused further delay, when I asked for them to send it to me so I could buy glasses too it took over 25 days to get it and when I did I didn't notice but they conveniently left out the pupilary distance which is necessary for ordering glasses. Now, 6 months later I have no choice but to call again or walk in and DEMAND a COMPLETE prescription. I'm sorry but you've been paid, so why do I have to go back and forth for what I paid for? Because they're greedy!!! All in all what should have been handled in a matter of days (or even weeks due to my difficult sight) is taking OVER SIX LONG MONTHS! Contacts are prescribed annually which means I'm going to need a new prescription in 6 months instead of a year because of their ineptitude! I will not be back and I suggest to steer clear unless you like wasting your time and money. read more

I just wanted to get a basic eye exam and wanted to know if the additional charge for the exam (retina imaging) used to be included in the basic eye exam or if it's now some new thing I don't know about thus giving me the option to test /pay for it. They didn't let me in to have my glasses fitted, instead they had me wait outside while the tech went back and forth to her station to make adjustments. They didn't provide a mirror to check how they looked. Later I noticed the glasses don't sit level on my face. Now I gotta go back to get them adjusted correctly. Just left office. Brought my sons glasses to be repaired or replaced under warranty but was told they were not under warranty and that it ended on June first. This is strange as my sons appointment was on June 13, 2020 and he got his glasses two weeks later so I am not sure how the one year warranty was already expired before the one year. The obviously do not honor their warranties. Time to find a new and honest optometrist. I have been a client since 1994 but I guess that is not valued either. My mother was recommended this place to get new glasses. She went to get her exam with no problem and the day came for her to pick up her glasses (today). The lady that attended her (outside) asked her to pay (outside) and gave her the glasses and receipt (outside) And my mother asked aren't you going to adjust them to see if they fit and the dumb lady was like Oh ok she got them adjusted (outside) She was not allowed inside for whatever reason. I started coming here because of my husband. Granted it's 40 minutes without traffic from me , it's worth it. The staff is amazing. They help you from the moment you walk in and are super friendly. I started wearing glasses in 1975, and began wearing contact lenses way back when they first became available to the public. Over the years I've been to a LOT of optometrists. The location is convenient, the staff are "super" friendly and Dr. Crismon is - by far - the best optometrist I've ever been to. I say this based on the RESULTS he got for me. He really knows what he is doing. These were the best contact lenses I ever had. 100% CLEAR VISION. My family and I have been going to Dr Crismon's office for about 30 years. The staff has always been helpful. The doctors very knowlagable the latest in eye helath. I wouldn't trust my eyes to any one else. They have a great selection of frame. Good prices. My daughter (who has no insurance right now) still goes to Dr. Crismopn because they are wonderful and the prices are something she can afford.
