Dr. Ohanesian and his staff are exemplary in every way possible. I'm not a skilled enough writer to…read morereally do this justice, but I'll try! I moved to Coarsegold from the Bay Area and hadn't yet identified a new dentist. It started the night a veneer fell off, front and center of my smile, the night before flying out for an important event the next morning. Panicked, I reached out to Dr. Ohanesian and to my amazement, he texted me back (at 11PM!) and had me come in before normal working hours in order to squeeze me in. He completely saved the day! I just went back to take care of a couple of things and just can't say enough regarding how kind, patient, compassionate, funny, and what a great dentist he is. Making a living is of course important, but he is clearly not in it just for the money. This man clearly loves what he does. He has integrity. He encourages saving teeth when possible instead of more profitable alternatives, goes at your pace financially, and is super respectful --He goes above and beyond to best serve his patients, and every member of his staff is equally nice! You rarely see this anymore-- The bar is high here : ) Thank you for being my dentist, Dr. Jack!

I recently had a complicated root canal redone at Champlain Dentistry. It was wonderful experience…read morefrom the first phone call and talk with Judy and fast scheduling of complimentary XR appointment and consultation with Dr. Kalluri. I was scheduled for endodontist appointment in a week. FDS ladies worked with our dental insurance and estimated cost of appointment very fast, also offered payment plan. The appointment with Dr. Hamedy was very pleasant experience, he is all that he claims about himself and provides calmEd " state of the art" experience through him working on a root canal. Awesome doctor! If I need in the future, I will choose Dr. Hamedy again. Great clinic, great providers, great friendly and caring places

My review is specifically about the financial department, not the dentists, assistants, hygienists,…read moreor front office staff. My interactions with the clinical team were positive. Unfortunately, my experience with the financial department was disappointing enough that I decided to seek care elsewhere. As a patient, I expect to be able to ask questions about my treatment plan, costs, and possible alternatives without feeling like I'm inconveniencing anyone. Instead, I felt that my questions were treated as though they were wasting someone's time. When I wanted to better understand my options or discuss alternative treatment plans, I was made to feel like asking questions were delaying the process rather than being a normal part of making an informed healthcare decision. What stood out the most was being told that if I wasn't going to proceed with the recommended treatment, I should let them know sooner so they wouldn't "waste their time." That comment was disappointing and came across as dismissive and lacking empathy. Patients are making important medical and financial decisions, and asking questions before committing to treatment should never be viewed as an inconvenience. I was also given conflicting information regarding payment options. One member of the financial department told me I could move forward with $200 down and six monthly payments. Later, another financial representative told me that was no longer an option and that I would instead have to pay $600 down with only four monthly payments, even though the revised treatment plan was only about $25 more than the original estimate. I was never given a clear explanation as to why the financing terms changed so drastically over such a small increase in cost. That inconsistency made it difficult to trust the information I was receiving. What made the experience even more disappointing was the lack of empathy. I explained that I am a full-time caregiver, which creates unique financial and scheduling challenges, and that I had been a patient of this office since 2024. In the past, the office had been willing to work with me, so I expected at least a conversation about possible options. Instead, I felt that my circumstances were brushed aside and that there was very little effort to understand my situation. I wasn't asking for special treatment--I was simply asking to be heard and treated with the same patience and respect that any patient deserves. Patients have every right to ask as many questions as necessary before agreeing to treatment. We are the ones paying for these procedures, and informed consent requires understanding not only the treatment itself but also the financial commitment involved. Questions should be welcomed and answered with professionalism and respect--not treated as an inconvenience. Because of my experience with the financial department, I no longer felt comfortable moving forward with this office and have decided to continue my dental care elsewhere. I hope this feedback encourages the financial department to communicate more consistently and approach patients with greater patience, empathy, and respect. No one should leave a healthcare office feeling discouraged simply for wanting to understand the care and financial commitment they're being asked to accept

Dr Stagis replaced a couple fillings and did 2 partial crowns. I was really impressed with the Crown process, and that I didn't have to get anything temporary, because he designs and makes the crown while you are there. Here I am 6 years later, and I've had no issues at all with any work he has done. He has always been pleasant, courteous and professional. I really did get the impression that he is a specialist, and truly knows his craft. The whole staff is great too, by the way!

Changing to a different dentist is tough. In fact, I've only changed in the past because of…read moreinsurance or because I moved. In taking with colleagues, the same name kept coming up, Dr. Gates. Apparently this guy was supposed to know the newest technologies and had a reputation of doing great work. Let me give you my experience as a first time customer (who, btw, is very picky!) I contacted the office and spoke with Stephanie (spelling?). She was so professional and offered to retrieve my record from my past dentist so I didn't have to deal with it. I told her I wanted to follow up and she gave me multiple ways to submit them digitally. She offered to set an appointment based on my schedule and they were able to get me in last minute without any fuss. I even forgot to get my records, and she followed up a few days before offering once again to help me. I've never had someone so "on the ball". I was also able to fill out my paperwork by downloading it off their site so I didn't have to do it in the office. Time saver! When I walked in I spoke with Jessica, who was amazingly friendly. Usually in the medical field people are too busy to have a decent conversation, or they simply would care less. We spoke for a while and she really was interested in getting to know me as a person rather than customer. What a rare talent. Stephanie even came up and joked around a bit. I was glad I finally met her in person. Dr. Gates came out and personally said hello. He told me it will only be a few minutes. Has that ever happened to you at a doctor's office???? I was there for like 10 minutes and the Doctor already came out of greet me. Jennifer came out front and said she'll be handling the x-rays. I was surprised how many good looking people there are in this office. Seriously! It's like a modeling agency in there!!! I told him I'm not one for changing dentists but everyone I knew kept talking about how good he is, so I had to come. I explained that I was very limited in my budget, and he offered so many options for saving money. I've never had a dentist able to work on my own budget. It's usually, "well, we gotta do it and we have a credit policy." Dr. Gates and his team worked with the little money I had and the outcome was amazing. Jennifer was very professional and gave me insight on each step of the way. I noticed that this team had a tendency to tell you what's about to happen before it happens. Maybe it was because I get nervous around dentists, but they explained EVERYTHING in a way I could understand. Of all my years going to the dentist, Dr. Gates was by far the most sophisticated, friendly, fun and outgoing person. He did some minor cosmetic stuff that has been bothering me for years (from other sloppy dentist work). "It's part of our service," he said. Dr. Gates & his team are a dream come true. I had to write a novel because I want everyone to know of my eye-opening experience. You never know what you've been missing until you meet someone like so talented!

Called around but OnCall Dental kept up with the return calls on helping me book my appt & offering diff payment options due to not having dental insurance. The next morning Jen got me in in 1.5hrs! The office is very clean, had good energy & aura about it. Genevieve is an absolute doll! Very informative, caring, attentive. Dr Gates is a magician! Great bedside manner & very thorough. Talked me thru every step. Tho I needed numbing 3x he & his team calmed me down from my fear of dentists... It's a big fear .. I frequent town often & will now only use this office. I needed other work done, I've already known this.. but due to financial & time constraints, I could only pay for one tooth extraction today. They were not at all pushy & never once did I feel like they were bullying me into buying services. They gave me options which I am looking into & will be working towards! Thanku for the amazing experience & I can't wait to start my dental journey with you guys. And to brag to everyone that it was Dr Gates, Genevieve, Jen & team who made me smile again!

I wouldn't have been writing this review but after waiting 2 months for my insurance to activate…read more Dr. Mirelez no longer excepts medical insurance to help patients with the cost with their dental surgery and transplant procedure. I understand the reason behind canceling but his office could have had the decency to notify all of his patients who were waiting for dental procedures that his office no longer took medical insurance for those services. I've seen Dr. Mirelez on so many commercials or infomercial and the way he talks speaks about being compassion and you would think he would have a little more empathy for patients who can't afford to pay for dental care and need that medical insurance to help pay for their treatment. Sometimes his office staff just needs to work a little bit harder to recover funds from the insurance companies! I cared for my chronically ill wife for 30 years took medical leave from my job for 12 years. That's what true patient care is!!! Now I needed dental care and was waiting for my medical and dental insurance to activate but to be let down by Dr. Mirelez and his office staff!
