All the food I ordered was super yummy. The service was amazing; the server frequently gave us coffee refills and was very friendly. The restrooms were clean with lots of decor. Overall Paul's is a great place to get breakfast if you want great service and delicious food.

It's been a while since my first review here, so an update is in order :) Paul's still has the cozy, homey inside dining room, but now has expanded their outside seating with more tables and chairs ~ a great option when the weather is nice! Even sitting outside, service was great. Our food came out in a timely manner and our server made sure our coffee cups were kept full. We both ordered breakfast today. My friend's omelette with egg whites was beautiful and my chicken fried steak was delicious. It's great to be able to come here knowing that the food is consistently good and service is always friendly.

Our waitress was Tina she's so sweet so nice fun to chat with she's like family our food was great as usual. I absolutely love my grits with extra cheese I only get them here I love the decoration inside all decorations made home made like. There's even a shelf for regulars to have their own coffee cups. So cool ! Thank you for yet another wonderful breakfast. We will see you soon Tina.

Paul's Country Kitchen looks like a very local favorite in Placentia. I came here after shopping at Trader Joe's and was looking for some tasty American breakfast. I came across Paul's and decided to give this place a try. I automatically fell in love with how they made the inside and the patio, with tons of decorations that really make you feel like you are in America. The menu has a vast variety of options. I picked something off of the house favorites which was named Tijuana Treat! It has three eggs and is filled with ground beef, tomatoes, onions, sour cream, and cheese. Overall whatever they did it was good! I ate the whole thing!! So if you are looking for delicious diner style food this is the spot with friendly service.

Very excellent service. Lots of breakfast choices and good, hot coffee. Food arrived quickly and hot (not cold). Prices are reasonable too.

Service was great. Packed lil restaurant on strip mall. Seemed to be a lot regulars at this place. Parking is good. They have daily specials. The coffee was light for me. They are attentive to all patrons. My order was Debbie's special 2 pancakes, 1 egg 2 bacon/sausage. I ordered a side of toast. Pancakes were decent and flavor of vanilla. However the butter they use is margarine. It doesn't melt. There was a hefty coating it just sits on top of of whatever item it is put on. Therefore that was my low rating. We ordered oatmeal as well and the fresh fruit was partial fresh they also added canned peaches.I would probably not be back not my taste but give it a shot it might be something else you like. Service is impeccable.

We walked in on an early Sunday morning and were greeted and seated right away. Our server was one of the friendliest people we've encountered, bringing the concept of unreasonable hospitality to life. The food was good, and I particularly loved the variety of breakfast side options. Fresh tomatoes and sourdough toast with a scramble sounded just perfect. The place was bustling, and the bathroom decor was always fresh and interesting. I also enjoyed the dog wall. If I lived nearby, I would definitely be a regular!

Came here yet again for the country fried steak and super pleased with it!! Love that they aren't stingy w the gravy and that they let you semi customize your plate! So for me I got extra crispy hashbrowns and a pancake on the side, super delicious, super fresh, staff is super friendly ...seriously can never go wrong!

Never even knew this place existed until snagging a drink at the new Better Buzz near by.. Took the family hoping for an excellent breakfast, but sadly it was a let down... I will note that the service was excellent! A complete five stars to their team for the friendly, helpful, and prompt service. It was a busy Saturday morning but no family was left hanging.. Where I drop to three stars is the food. The presentation will get you, but you wont find a match with taste. The plates come out so perfectly decorated with their fine breakfast choices. Large fluffy pancakes, tasty looking bacon and sausage. Even the eggs looked satisfying, all yellow and funky. Unfortunately our table unanimously agreed the food had no flavor. Everything was so bland, couldn't even be saved with the salt/pepper, jellies, syrup, etc. I hate to break it, but the food fits the taste buds of a certain crowd, but we aren't there.. For my plate, the peaches were probably the only half decent part, but those were simply poured into a bowl from a can.. With some enhancements to the flavor, this place would have so many more people leaving satisfied. Until then, I donated $90 to an uncomfortable meal.. Heavy love to the staff though x2, the world needs more people like them.

As always the service was spot on - timely and pleasant . Love the Tijuana Treat because who could ask for more than eggs, seasoned ground beef, ortega chili and cheese.

Small mom/pop spot with the friendliest servers. Feels very much like "grandmas kitchen". Food was good and served quickly. My only issue is that it is incredibly hot in there. They had the doors open for air flow but it did not help much as we were all sweaty by the time we left breakfast.

The host and the waitress were both nice and accommodating. We had avocado toast (one order each). The food was definitely fresh, and the salsa they brought over to add on top of yourself was a great addition. Without it, there wasn't much flavor at all but we wanted something lite and this was it! The portion size for the amount you pay was worth it compared to any other socal restaurant. The decor inside is exactly what you think it might be for an old Timey restaurant and gave off a certain vibe.

We sat for over **20 minutes** without anyone coming to our table--not even to offer water. I eventually had to get up and ask someone to send a server over. What made it even more frustrating was watching other parties who arrived **15-20 minutes after us** receive water immediately and have their orders taken before anyone even acknowledged our table. After finally waiting another 10 minutes to receive our water, we had to track down our server again just to place our food order because no one returned to check on us. By that point, we had been sitting long enough and were more than ready to order. To make matters worse, we ordered an appetizer of coconut shrimp about five minutes after placing our entrée order, but it never arrived. After we had already finished our meals, we asked to cancel it, only to be told that our server had never entered the order in the first place. Unfortunately, the food didn't make up for the poor service. It lacked flavor and was very underwhelming. This experience was frustrating enough that I cannot recommend Reunion Kitchen. I initially wanted to believe this was simply an off day or an inexperienced server, but after hearing from two other people I know who described nearly identical experiences, it seems this may be a recurring issue. One thing that left me especially uncomfortable was seeing guests who arrived well after us receive prompt attention while our table was repeatedly overlooked. I can't say why that happened, but it certainly made us question whether we were being treated differently. I sincerely hope the restaurant looks into its service standards and ensures every guest is treated with the same level of respect and attention.

Nice way to sample their different tacos! Their guava agua Fresca was a refreshing drink to go with my tacos. My friend ordered their cheese enchiladas in their cream red sauce. We chose to sit in the outdoor rooftop and the ambience was lovely, very cozy. We got the lump crab and avocado stack for an appetizer and it was so delicious! Crispy and well seasoned chips with fresh ingredients in the stack. My parents got the artisan pizza and the arugula salad with salmon and said it was delicious, especially raving about the dressing for the salad and the wonderful amount of meat on the pizza I got the wood fired mushroom pizza and it was soooo good. My sister originally chose Terra because she saw a picture of one of their salads with salmon and knew immediately that was what she wanted. We had no idea we were about to discover a new favorite restaurant. 10/10 -- I've already bookmarked Terra because I will absolutely be back. When we arrived, we told our server we had never been there before and asked what she recommended. Her descriptions of the food were fantastic, and she steered us toward the wood-grilled peaches with burrata and arugula. Oh. My. Goodness. Absolutely delicious! The grilled peaches, creamy burrata and arugula were such a wonderful combination. Then the salad came out, with salmon added. I took my first bite and was literally speechless. It was an explosion of flavor -- the avocado, salmon, sesame dressing and everything else going on in that salad just worked. The salmon costs extra, but it was absolutely worth it. The peach dish and the salad were completely different flavor experiences, and honestly I would happily order both of them again. We were talking about how we were gonna come back and try to resist ordering the same thing over again, but that will be a challenge. Of course, we were at a wood-fired pizza restaurant, so we HAD to try the pizza. We ordered half-and-half. One side was the fingerling potato pizza, especially after our server told us the story about the owner's daughter wanting fingerling potatoes on her pizza and how that helped inspire the restaurant. Obviously, after hearing that story, we had to try the pizza that started it all! And it did not disappoint. I can definitely see myself ordering that again. The other half was the salami pizza with the honey drizzle. It was supposed to have some heat -- my sister could taste it, although I couldn't -- and the honey made it a really interesting combination. Not something I would normally think to order, but definitely worth trying. I also ordered the citrus agave, thinking it was basically a fancy name for lemonade. It wasn't! Lemon, orange and lime made it much more interesting, with just a slight bitterness from the citrus that balanced the sweetness. Delicious and different. We sat upstairs, where there was a wonderful breeze coming through on a summer evening. The whole atmosphere was charming and relaxed, the service was excellent, and the food was memorable. The biggest surprise? Terra is right near my office, and I never knew it was there. Definitely a 10/10. I came because of a recommendation, and now I'm recommending it to everyone else. I will absolutely be back.
