I adopted Penney from Paw Salon and Spa a few months ago. Penney is full of energy and life with a beautiful spunky personality. She is very loveable and we are happy! Today, I took Penney in for her grooming appointment with Jessica, who did a great job with a spa treatment, hair cut, and nails trim. Penney smells pretty and feels soft. Thank you, Jessica! Penney will definitely be back.

Very caring groomer and welcoming salon. This place does the best job and we've gone to many groomers around riverside. Our dog always looks so clean and cute. They did an even better job with our rescue bunny! They took their time with the process as to not stress the bunny out too much. Would recommend this place 10/10!

Great service and very nicely done job. Love coming to Jessica , she is great with our dogs. One our dogs is pretty anxious but Jessica is so good with working with her and has given her such a good experience that she is now better at being groomed. Would definitely recommend anybody to get their dogs groomed with her!

My dogs decided it was a good idea to chase after a skunk 2 days ago and after several baths I was still struggling to get the smell out of my huskies. One was much better but she doesn't have a super thick undercoat like my other girl. My cousin recommended Jessica and she was able to get us in this morning! So I only had to deal with the smell for a day and 1/2! My girls are beautiful and they have been deshedded which is great for the summer!!! They don't have much a skunk smell anymore (just slightly but I know it will get better each day from here) I am so thankful for Jessica and her team for squeezing us in and helping with the de-skunking of my huskies! It's much appreciated

My wife and I currently have 3 dogs and have been looking for months to find a dog groomer. They had openings that were convenient with our schedule. We arrived on Saturday morning with all three dogs and I was a little worried because my dogs are a lot to handle. We arrived and met the owner Jessica. She is not only great at grooming the dogs, she is awesome for the way she cares for the dogs as well. She offers vaccinations if your dogs need it. One of my dogs was given a set of vaccinations while he was there for his grooming and it was extremely convenient for us. The staff was very nice and compliment all my dogs even though I know they are trouble makers. Thank you so much for taking on our little animal family. We are very grateful and will be back!

Today was Ozo's first grooming appointment and it went wonderfully!!! I forgot the girl's name, but she was very sweet and really helpful for giving out tips since I am a first time dog owner. She was explaining everything with detail and o really appreciated that. Ozo looks AMAZING and he came back very happy. I will definitely continue to take my Ozo to this grooming salon. The pictures are before and after.

Mr Wilson always comes home from Paw Salon and Spa looking so handsome and smells amazing. Jessica and her staff do an amazing job loving on my babies while they are being pampered. This is one of Jessica's puppies that I adopted back in August. #ILoveMyYorkie #MommasBoy #PawSalon_and_Spa

We've taken Maddi here to be groomed multiple times and we are always so happy with the outcome! Jessica is knowledgeable and takes her time caring for Maddi and has helped us find food for Maddi that will help her skin and coat! She takes her time and is very thorough with the dogs and we highly recommend her

When i picked a random place to go always better then some recommended places. And i went to this place today, never seen my dog happy like that at the grooming salon. She come home with smile on face, feels hungry and finished all the food (normally she's really picky and take forever to feed her). Look very clean and soft, smell so fresh but not strong. I loved the way they take care of my baby dog. The lady really nice and take time with my dog. Can't wait to come again!

This pet grooming is a great spot. I brought Franco for the first time. Jessica was so nice and she listened and cut Franco's hair exactly how I wanted it. I already booked my next appointment.

As for the cancellation fee some people mention, it's important to be realistic appointments here take hours, and that's valuable time set aside specifically for you. It's completely fair for a business to protect that time. We personally do our best not to cancel, but when something unavoidable comes up, we understand and respect their policy. My son brought our Bernadoodle in to be groomed, and they convinced him that he was matted and required a summer cut. My son reluctantly agreed, and they completely shaved him. To do a summer cut requires no finesse in grooming, and they charged me $189 for a cut that took less than 15 minutes that is no different than a farmer shearing his lambs. Here is a picture of what matted hair looks like, and pictures of my dog before his summer cut. If you look at his summer cut, check out his ears and tail, you can see they did take the time to brush out. Which means they were too lazy to accommodate us. I also pointed out to them that when I brought him there last year, they were accommodating to my request of a trim and could pull up the record on their system. They made the excuse that they couldn't do it because their system was in transaction mode. I question their integrity because they used to list the prices of the services they provided. Now they can subjectively name their prices. I expressed my concerns, and this group of employees quickly dismissed me, saying my pet was a big dog, therefore it cost more, no bigger than my Huskies, which I paid far less for grooming. If you have experienced this type of customer service, stand your ground and demand that they meet your needs/desires for your pet's grooming. What happened to that friendly family atmosphere?

They assured me they could work with her. After I dropped her off, they even called and asked for permission to put a muzzle on her so they could continue. I also offered to stay and help comfort my dog during the grooming, but they told me it wasn't necessary. About two hours later, I received a call to come pick her up. When I saw her, I was shocked. She looked terrible. They didn't even groom her face, and she had multiple cuts on her ears and face. To make matters worse, she was still wet when they handed her back to me. They told me my dog was aggressive, but at no point did anyone call to let me know they were unable to safely complete the grooming. Instead, they waited until I arrived and then tried to charge me extra because they said it took two people to work on her. I have a 1-year-old Maltipoo who is incredibly sweet and loving. I understand she gets anxious during grooming, which is exactly why I was upfront about her behavior from the beginning. I expected patience, communication, and professionalism--not for my dog to come home injured and with an incomplete groom. I will not be returning. Not only that, but the groomer who worked on my dog was extremely rude and unprofessional, and the owner of the shop allowed the disrespectful behavior. She repeatedly kept telling me my dog was "bad," constantly talked over me, and spoke to me in an aggressive tone when I was simply trying to explain that the additional charge should have been communicated beforehand. They had no problem calling me to ask permission to use a muzzle and informing me there would be an extra charge for that, so they should have shown the same courtesy when they decided to charge me more because two people had to work on my dog. Instead, they waited until I arrived to tell me, which was completely unprofessional and unacceptable. And then they had the nerve to try to charge me $125 for a groom that wasn't even completed. My dog's face wasn't done, she came back with cuts on her ears and face, and she was still wet when they handed her to me. Based on the way the groomer spoke to me--being rude, aggressive, and repeatedly calling my dog "bad"--I left with very little confidence that my dog was treated with the patience and care she deserved. My dog is a sweet, loving 1-year-old Maltipoo who gets anxious during grooming, and I was transparent about that from the very beginning. I expected compassion and professionalism, not poor communication, disrespect, and an incomplete groom. i wouldnt even give a star but i have to!

The manager became extremely angry and argumentative. At one point I said leave the ears alone and I would do them. I received more arguing back at me. I also said then use the clippers to remove the matted part and do the best you can. I was called back rudely another time that I would have to sign a waiver about my dog's ears. I tried to pick my dogs up at the three hour mark and they had not even been trimmed properly yet and I was told if I picked up the dogs then, I would have to pay for the entire bill. I left my poor dogs there as I had an appointment. When I returned to pick them up the groomer was rude and over the top argumentative and said I was not allowed to bring my dogs back even after I apologized for any misunderstanding on my part. They continued to display such a shameful attitude and stance with me just because I declined to have the groomer use the clipper on the entire ear. What happened to kindness and the business motto "The customer is always right"? If they treat me like this is a "critical parent fashion", how do they treat my dogs??? There is no way to see how dogs are being treated around the corner as when they groom the dogs it is completely out of view. One of my dogs was literally shaking when we arrived home. The shaking lasted some time. As it was, they charged me $15 extra to comb out my dog's matted ear. Couldn't they have given me that option up front? It would have been so much more kinder and everyone could have left happy and content including my dogs!!! After arrived home for several days, my dogs cry when I pick them up from sore ribs. My wife and I did what any responsible pet parents would do: administered a full‑scale COVID‑era haircut and booked a 9 AM nail‑trim appointment to finish the job. Once the shop opened, we learned the entire operation was being run by one heroic human that morning. One. A whole grooming shop held together by sheer willpower and caffeine. After we explained Sawyer's situation, this absolute saint of a groomer didn't just agree to trim his nails -- she offered to clean him up for a small fee, with the kind of patience and warmth that could calm a tornado. Minutes later, out strutted a brand‑new dog. Freshly trimmed, nails immaculate, tail wagging like he'd just won a beauty pageant. I tipped more than I planned, but honestly, it still wasn't enough. She earned every penny with her kindness, her skill, and that unwavering smile that said, "Yes, I am single‑handedly keeping this place running, and no, you will not see me break."
