My daughter celebrated her 10th birthday with her closest friends and siblings. Jenn and Gary made it one of the best experiences the kiddos could have. The space was perfect for the 13 participants, a table where we were able to set up dessert, and extra seats for parents to observe. Jenn and the team walked everyone through the process and were very patient with a bunch of pre-teens. They "Taylored" the music to what the girls love, so there was lots of singing! Several months ago I was looking for a place I could create some signs for our wedding in March '23 and happened upon their grand opening event. They are franchised by Board and Brush so you can find their listings, sign up for an event, and check out ideas. The studio is a great space with plenty of room to work. They have 5 tables which might be able to accommodate about 20 people. They are open for private events or public projects. If you haven't been to a board and brush before it's super simple and lasts about 3 hours. When you sign up you pick your project. They give you the wood and stencil - you pick the stain, colors and finishes. Then you get to work creating your board. They assist you throughout the process. There are even options to customize. They had lots of inspiration around the room that their family created in preparation. As of now their space is only 21 and over so gotta leave the kiddos at home. My fiancé and I will be back to create a couple pieces to fill the new home we established together

You pick out the background color of your board and the font colors when you are painting so you don't have to be a great painter or creative. This particular "Paint & Vino" was hosted by instructor, Nataly, at the Beach Terrace Inn, Carlsbad, Paint Your Pet event. Ahhhhmazing location overlooking the ocean with a lovely patio, comfy seating and Nataly generously offered us wine and lemonade. If you come to this particular one, come early to find parking as it is right on the beach especially in good weather like today on a Saturday. And bring your Scooby snacks and favorite beverage since you will be painting your pet for a while. I couldn't believe 3 hours had passed!!! We were having so much fun. Nataly is lovely and helps you out as much as you need. Supplies all the materials you will need. She's very generous, kind and knowledgeable. We had the pleasure of having Kimball from Corporate to Canvas come to our office at lunch time to…read moredo a painting session. She got there early to set up everything and she stayed late to clean up and put everything away. She put down a protective plastic sheet to cover tables, chairs, the floor, etc. She set up all the aprons, easels, paint brushes, water bowls, etc. Kimball gave us 2 paintings to choose from. She put on some music and we all started following her helpful instructions on our way to our masterpieces. She led us step by step to paint the beach scene. I had never painted or done one of these things. Kimball is very professional, nice, helpful, and patient. I definitely needed the most help out of everyone. There were 12 of us, and we only had an hour, and it got a little rushed at the end to paint the sign on the beach, but we got done. See posted pics of my masterpiece. This was a fun experience and I look forward to doing this again. If I can do it, anyone can do it. It was nice to do a relaxing stress relieving event at work.
