I feel so lucky that I found Paws on Pine!!! I initially searched the internet for some sort of cat watching service for when I go out of town and I stumbled on to Paws on Pine. The reviews said it all so I immediately reached out to Heather. Heather got back to me right away so she could set up a "consult" and come over to my apartment to meet Dolce. I warned her that Dolce is extremely skittish and hides when she hears any new voice, the doorbell, etc. It is just me and dolce in the apartment so she usually does not warm up to anyone -- even my family and friends. When Heather and I walked in the door, Dolce of course hid. Heather started asking me questions about her food, favorite toys, litter box, personality, etc. and was taking notes on her phone the whole time so I knew she really cared and would remember everything. Less than 5 minutes into our discussion, Dolce came out from under the bed and slowly approached Heather and rubbed up against her. I was shocked.. she never does this! She clearly sensed an animal lover and the smell of other dogs & cats probably didn't hurt. Long story short... Heather and Paws on Pine are awesome. They have totally put me at ease while traveling and I feel confident Dolce has the best care. I usually arrange to have Heather visit twice a day when I am out of town and she always shows up during the time frame I request and sends me updates and pictures during every visit! Paws on Pine saved our lives. We brought our baby home at 9 weeks and being first time pawrents, everything had to be perfect. We knew we had some pretty high demands but we were really concerned about our baby's health. Heather was so understanding and respectful of our needs. Paws on pine has been reliable, responsive and exactly what I needed in a dog walking service from day one. I am an ER nurse and often work random shifts, days, overnights. I work different days of the week and Heather and her team are always great at accommodating us. My emails are always answered very promptly. My French bulldog Leo is turning 2 on Thursday and has had the pleasure of meeting many of their pet specialists. At first we met everyone before their first walk with Leo as this was my first time hiring a service and that was easily accommodated and everyone was great. I now know that whoever is sent will be vetted well by Heather as she takes time in picking her team. Leo especially loves Sarah who he sees the most, he will drag me to her when we see her on the street. The best part? We have been using Paws on Pine for almost 2 years, since moving to Financial District area. We have two senior cats, one of which is tripod. Mike has been helping us during our trips and we cannot thank him enough. It's making travel so much easier when you do not have to worry about your pets at home. Heather is amazing. She is very responsive to requests and almost always has arrangements made instantly. At least on two previous occasions I've had to travel for work on short notice, and Heather was on hand to make arrangements for my two little cats to be taken care of. The absolute B-E-S-T!!!!! Melissa and Xavi have been walking, loving and dog-sitting my 2.5 year old Soft Coated Wheaten Terrier, Murphy since he was 10 wks old. They have loved him like their own pup and I know that he loves them like family too. I know that Murphy loves them too because if we ever run into them on the street, Murphy goes crazy with uncontrollable excitement. They always send lots of pictures after each visit with a full report on their visit. Getting their texts and pics are a highlight in my day and gives me such peace of mind. I know that they will take the best care of him. I trust Paws implicitly and know that my Murphy is getting the best loving care with every visit. I wish I could give Paws on Pine 10 stars. We used paws on pine for my puppy Josie's "puppy visits" and dog walks once Josie was vaccinated. For the past 8 months, Heather and Caitlin have taken amazing care of Josie. Receiving daily texts and pictures from Caitlin about her walks with Josie never failed to brighten my day! Caitlin always went above and beyond to make sure Josie was well taken care of, from refilling her water to cleaning up any messes she made inside. It was obvious how much Caitlin cared about Josie, and I knew I was leaving Jo in good hands with her. Heather also truly cares about the dogs. She checked up on Josie when she was sick, and was always willing to give us guidance on dog ownership. Heather was always very accommodating, and helped us schedule additional walks for Josie on numerous occasions. Heather's service and team are incredible; we are so spoiled from our experience with Paws on Pine. The only drawback is that Paws on Pine hasn't made it to Brooklyn (yet??) ! read more

Heather & her Paws on Pine team are absolutely incredible, they truly are animal lovers who treat your pets as if they were their own. We have worked with them for over 2 years consistently. We started using Paws on Pine when our puppy was 10 weeks old for puppy play dates before he had his shots to go outside. Then we graduated to walks and have used all of the services at this point (walks, play dates for a few hours, overnight stays). Every aspect in working with Paws on Pine has been extremely professional, personal and so easy. Heather is super responsive and easy to communicate with, scheduling walks for the week have been so simple and we've never run into an issue with not having coverage. We love the fact that our dog walks with the walker alone, he has formed a very special bond with our walker (Jennifer) - she is like a second puppy mom to him. We get a text every day with photos and updates on the walk. At times when our dog was acting a bit off Jennifer even notified us right away so we knew the situation. She is such a sweet person and my dog, who normally hates being without me, really seems to enjoy it there. Recently, I had a last minute trip and needed dog walking, and it was no problem. I have one dog that can be a little indifferent towards people, but she loved Sam immediately. My dogs were very well taken care of while I was away for the week. We had such an amazing experience with both Sam and Heather from Paws on Pine; I honestly can't say enough good things about them. Sam was absolutely wonderful to our sweet dog Bella. He texted us adorable picture updates and "potty reports" every day, and I could always tell that Bella was happy Sam came over.
