    I took Oso in today and he came back looking super fly, shiny, and smelling sooo good. He's a bigger dog so naturally I was nervous of his size and him haven't being groomed in a while but the whole team was super reassuring, took REALLY good care of him, it was super quick, super easy and such good pricing! 10000/10!

    We have an anxious dog, and after most of her washes at other places, she comes out quivering. Here she came out wagging her tail and trotting around. She smelled so good after a wash and the smell stays in her fur for at least a a week. they gave her a cute bandana. Will be coming back.

    Highly recommend Paws Palace in Santa Clara! I had been going to a place in Campbell, but after a move I needed someplace closer. After driving by PP time and time again I figure I would try them. Ricardo was so welcoming and kind to Dexter and I. The process was easy and Dexter came out a HAPPY and handsome boy! I am very satisfied and Paws Palace has a new customer! Dexter and I thank you Paws Palace!

    I have been a regular customer at Paws Palace for almost four years now. However, my recent experience has left me with no choice but to find another groomer. I noticed that this once-fantastic place has become a groomer mill. During my last visit, I picked up my dog, Zoey, and noticed a small cut on her ear after paying for the service. I was a little annoyed because the groomer did not inform me of this. I felt they could have been more forthcoming and mentioned that Zoey had a small accident during her grooming. When I got home, the cut was still slightly bleeding, so I took Zoey to the vet. Unfortunately, the wound was deep enough to require 3 stitches. Although accidents can happen, I had previously informed the groomer that Zoey was a rescue dog and a bit skittish. I also mentioned that she was treat-motivated and would behave if handled with care and patience. This I remind the team constantly and always seem receptive to concerns and friendly, yet the stitches were the last straw, as in the past, Zoey's nails had been cut too short to the point where the wick was exposed....ok I though, that could be accident..I feel like a terrible dog dad and for giving Paws Palace another chance to prove me wrong, but sadly, it did not meet my expectations. I miss the old owners who took great care of Zoey, and for the safety of my dog, I will not be returning.

    Love this place and the quality work they do! They pay special attention to your dogs personal needs and treat them with the love and care they deserve. Luna was greeted with caresses and the groomer came out to meet us to talk about what cut would best fit her. Prices are reasonable and super fast service. I will definitely return here and can't wait til Lunas next cut.

    I have been to this place a couple times before and had no issue with how they groomed my dog. This last encounter was a total sh*t show to say the least. Not only did they shave my doodle down to practically nothing, they cut him in several areas too. Not to mention how choppy the cut was in the places they left any fur on him. They claim that I had asked for a summer cut in FEBRUARY! But even a summer cut on a doodle shouldn't look like this. My dog has not been his usual happy self since coming back from this place. I'm beyond pissed. I had to buy my dog a sherpa jacket because he's been shivering with all his fur gone. The best they said they can do is refund me 50%. I basically paid $135 for my dog to look like a mangy street dog. Do yourself and your dog a favor and take your business elsewhere.

    If you love your dog, don't bring them here. I have brought my dog here a few times, and have even recommended this business to my sister, but am now regretting that after the terrible experience we had today. Not only was their customer service terrible, but worst of all they cut up my poor puppies belly. Here is the issue with customer service. We dropped our pup off at her 4pm appointment time, my fiancé and I both being a little confused since we see that they close at 4:30pm. By 6pm we called to see if she was almost done, and no answer. We figured maybe they had a few later appointments so continued to wait by the phone ready to pick her up. Finally around 7:15 we receive a phone call from a disgruntled employee telling us that he has been trying to call us multiple times. We told him we haven't received any calls, but would be there in less than 10 minutes. I walked into to pick up my pup and immediately apologized and asked if maybe he had called the wrong number since we didn't receive any calls, and even attempted to show him our call log just to see if we could figure out what happened. He was EXTREMELY RUDE and unprofessional. He just kept telling me he was calling and that I needed to change the number in their log, which makes absolutely no sense since we had received the one phone call. He would not listen to me, even while I was still apologizing and kept muttering to his dog that "we all have to go home at some point". I had already tipped 20% prior to hearing this, and now I regret it. Also be aware that they charge you for paying with a credit card, but definitely don't inform you of that. This groomer is the reason I will no longer take my dog here and will ensure that my sister does not either. His lack of professionalism is unacceptable and it looks like this isn't the first time he has behaved this way or spoken to someone in this manner.

    This is a review for poor customer service and not totally how grooming service has been performed. I have never encountered any problem until today when I was treated like a stupid person and I felt diminished as a person. That was a very frustrating feeling. It started when I dropped my dog, agter I texted the picture of how I wanted the cut to be, I wanted to confirm that he understood it, I xas about to ask for the short hair.. the employee just interrupted me and didn't want to listen to me. He just said that he will look at it afterwards and not now. I didn't think much of it but felt a bit annoyed but didn't say anything and remained polite. When I came back to pick up my dog, what I experienced was an example of poor customer service where the client has to shut up and just take it or leave it. The groomer had an attitude. When I asked about the price not being the same that he mentioned, he asked me back if I read the paper on the counter about the extra 3 or 4% automatically added to the bill. I was asking a question and the way he replied to me was disrespectful and condescending. So if I haven't read it yet, he could have been polite and not being rude. I work as a customer service manager and this is a shame and extremely poor customer service. No empathy to customers. Please train your employees better. This is the least an employee can do. He gave me back my dog without his harness and lead. I asked about it and he brought back a few of them and none of them belonged to my dog. I told him about the color and he brought it. Then asked me if it was the collar my dog had around his neck was his collar too. Well, he should have known if he was doing his job properly. As for the rendered service, I sent a picture over asking for a summer cut but my dog came out with still long hair and not what I asked for. I felt so frustrated about the way he treated me that I didn't want to ask about the long hair. I called back twice to talk to the owner and only got a voicemail. It was a very disappointing experience. Why would I want to return here to be treated like crap while I was polite? I should have given no tips at all. Too late... i am very upset, to say the least and an apology would be welcome.

    My girlfriend took her dog here. Her dog got scratch on his leg. And charge her $120 just for that!!! And if you pay by card they also charge you $4.75 for card fee!!! Won't go there again! Very disappointed.

I've done all sorts of things to adapt to her hind quarters weakness and partial paralysis and I'm really thankful that her groomer has done what they could to help her, too, without my having to ask. As usual, she came out looking good and smelling good -- I love that they don't use heavy perfumes and whatever they do use just leaves a nice pleasant, fresh smell. She's silky soft after every groom, and she clearly feels good about her time there since she always comes out smiling and prancing when she's done (feeling fancy, I guess). Great business and great people, friendly and helpful, super glad I found them. It doesn't hurt that they're only five minutes away from home but I'd bring Kiva here even if we had to drive a bit!

    I'm glad to hear that most people have had a good experience here (as I have had at other Lush Spaw…read morelocations in the past) but our first visit to the Santa Clara location was not a great experience and how it was handled was even worse... We took both our dogs in (German Shepherd and a schnauzer) for a bath service and de-shedding for my Shepherd, "Z". I let them know our schnauzer can be bitey with his feet/ears and to take whatever precautions necessary and that Z is pretty good, just very anxious. When I picked them up, the staff mentioned Z "freaked out" when they tried to use the blower and hurt his lip trying to bite the nozzle. I checked his face for some kind of abrasion or cut but didn't see anything. Very long story short, later that night we found he had broken one of his top canine teeth almost in half and the jagged edge was cutting his interior lip. A few rough days for Z (and us) waiting for vet appointments and $8,000.00 later, he had to get a root canal under anesthesia. I understand that accidents happen but also don't feel that Z was properly handled as they could have attempted a different method of drying/de-shedding him, rather than presumably continuing a method that stressed him out. When I first called the manager "Aqua" to bring this to her attention, she was very empathetic and professional but this manner did not continue. She said they would check the recording of his grooming to see what happened. We then played phone tag for a couple of days before she completely stopped answering my calls, texts, and voicemail attempts. This was the most disheartening part for me because even if they had responded saying everything looked fine on the recording, it still would have felt better than literally being ghosted by a "professional" business. We didn't get a call back from her until I called her from my partner's phone, whose number she didn't have. That pretty much confirmed she was purposely screening me. While speaking with my partner, Aqua sounded much more defensive while saying there was nothing concerning seen on the recording and admitting they did not complete the services paid, but ultimately gave my partner her email and the email the owner reviews to further discuss the issue. If nothing was seen on the recording, why wouldn't they have just responded with that in the first place? At least that's how it came across.. In the end, they refunded me Z's bath service (as requested) and didn't bother responding to our email. I really just wanted to advocate for my dog and hoped the management/owners would care that this happened, possibly due to their negligence, but was met with a different interaction. I truly hope they take this experience as an opportunity to further counsel their groomers on proper handling of anxious dogs. FYI - This isn't the first severe incident I've heard about occurring within their business since this happened but can't personally speak on the others.

The groomer arrived earlier than initially expected which worked out nicely for us. (He reached out via text the morning of to see if he could come earlier.) Upon arrival he was kind, personable and so good with our pup. She took to him pretty quickly. This was our first grooming experience ever. And I didn't realize how valuable it would be to have someone come to your home, greet your pet and groom them onsite, but it was such a time saver for us. It allowed us to do some much needed home maintenance with the pup out of the house. I received a text when the groomer was done and then shortly after there was a knock on the door with our freshly groomed pup. I do have to note that the shampoo products smelled strongly. It was a good smell but a bit overpowering, at least for our liking. Overall, we had a good experience and would recommend.
