I love it here:) they always are so sweet to my pup and he doesn't freak out coming here...in the past we have had some pretty bad experiences and my pup remembers and starts freaking out and pulling in the leash and not wanting to go in...not here! My husband & I came across an ad for Pawtastic on Instagram and were excited to make an appointment for our dog Rita :) When we entered the salon, it was super adorable, clean, and chic! The staff were very welcoming & kind in answering any questions we had. Rita has always had difficulty with getting her nails clipped in the past, but they were very understanding with our concerns. We got the Basic Package which included a lot! (Shampoo/conditioner, nail trimming, filing, ear plucking, anal glands, & sanitary cut for $50 for a 10lb dog) After about an hour, we received a text sharing that she was ready to be picked up :) When we arrived, Rita's coat was silky smooth, she smelled great, and her nails were trimmed so nicely! We were grateful they were able to get her nails shorter and all even -- you could tell the attention to detail they have on their work! We had such a wonderful experience first experience and can't wait to come back! read more

I was very disappointed with my services. I came in after seeing photos and videos about this place and its grooming. Don't get me wrong the place is very appealing to the eye but the customer service is not the best. I initially called to make an appointment. The front desk lady asked me some details about my dog and then she proceeded to ask what I was looking for. I said I wanted a trim on the body but to focus on the face and she goes "great you're looking at the basic package" so I went with that. I dropped him off and then got a called asking for my consent for them to cut around his eyes. Which I was confused as to why if that's what we had agreed on that they were going to focus on the face. I picked him up and it just seemed like he had got a wash and a brush. I explained to her what we had agreed on and she said that if I wanted cut on the face that it was the premium package. Then I told her that she didn't explained packages to me, she had just asked what I was looking for. There was silence after that conversation then she proceeded to tell me if I wanted a face cut that it was going to be $15 extra. Which I paid for but still it wasn't a good job. Seems like they just cut around his eyes and mouth but I was looking for a rounder face, like a teddy bear face. The groomer seemed very annoyed. She was done and just let him out the gate. Didn't say a word! Not even the front desk lady. I was also very annoyed that he didn't get a bandana or at least a bow. I paid $70 plus I had tipped as well. So I paid $80 total for a wash and a brush. Very upset! Not coming here again read more

I came in after seeing ads for this place, and was very excited because of how aesthetically pleasing everything was. I made the appointment over the phone. They asked details from age, breed to weight. The place is very clean, and there is a lot of space for the dogs. I brought in my dog, who suffers from anxiety and was medicated prior to showing for the appointment. He is a larger than typical Pomeranian, what they consider a "throwback" Pom. Still a Pomeranian, nonetheless. However, his hair isn't as floofy as the typical image of the breed, which I think threw the girl at the front desk off, who already seemed a little stressed and frantic. Bringing my dog to a new groomer, even medicated, I could tell was still nerve wracking for him. The medication takes time to kick in, and I timed it so that he would be calm by the time his appointment came around. I informed them he was medicated, and the medication might just take time to fully kick in. However, 30 min after dropping him off I received a phone call saying that my dog was acting out, and even though they put a muzzle on him he was "really smart" and was able to remove it (which I find odd because I'm thinking the muzzle is an incorrect size if he is able to take it off, my dog has been muzzled at the vet and it's never been an issue) They told me they would send a video of him being aggressive to show me, but they didn't end up sending anything. Even though I believed them, I would have still preferred that they sent me a video of what was occurring. I walked in to find him calmly awaiting me still sat at a grooming table. The girl at the front explained the situation, and how they tried to calm him down and I understood. Then, she started asking me if he normally is this aggressive, and by the way she was questioning me, implying "Why would you bring a dog here knowing he's like this?". It kind of felt judgmental, and she explained to the other groomer who just silently gave my dog the side eye while working on another dog, as if I purposefully wanted to give them a difficult time. I understand if he was difficult, and I was already very sorry for his behavior especially since he was aggressive and maybe I should have medicated him at an earlier time, but he's a dog he can't help it if he felt scared or anxious. The staff I interacted with just made the entire experience more awkward than it had to be and without even trying to issue a goodbye. I apologized and said goodbye, as I left with my dog. I could tell once we sat in the car that he must've been overwhelmed and started breathing heavy and got teary eyed. Long story short, I think this place is clean and I'm sure they do a good job. But reflecting on the experience, I felt that they gave up on my dog a little too quickly, especially since I had informed them he has anxiety and he was medicated prior it just takes time to kick in, and I thought it wouldn't have mattered the time because they said it would take 4 hours anyway. They could've left him alone, worked on another dog, and waited for him to calm down before officially calling it quits. They didn't give him a chance. The customer service in this case was lacking and it was awkward enough to not be give this location a second chance, and I'm sure they don't want to see him again anyway haha. If you're dog suffers from anxiety like my dog does, I don't recommend this place. read more

My initial visit was great but on my last visit on the 21st around the holidays I had an issue. My dog came in his hair was grown out but not overly since he is an indoor dog, and he likes to be clean. When I picked him up, they said nothing, but here is your dog and $85.00. A couple of days later I noticed a raw pink spot under his arm. It was not noticed early because of the busy holiday and it's in a spot that is kind of hard to see. I brought it to their attention because I was upset, they did not tell me anything when I picked him up so i could have taken care of it. And this is where they are just giving me the run around that they need better images, the dog licked it raw which is impossible because of the location he can't even reach that spot, and the cut is not from a blade or scissors? and maybe dry weather did it. And they need more images. Sorry but it's very concerning that not once have they took responsibility. Please consider this when thinking about using them it sad since I thought I found a new place. read more

I was looking for a groomer about a year ago since my fur baby max was not too happy going to our neighborhood one for other reasons and I looked on google and came across Pawtastic and gave it a try since they are kennel free ! Ever since my first visit we have absolutely loved everything about it. I brought my dog in for grooming today after seeing this place's pictures on Instagram. I was very excited to go in as this is a very popular place, however I was immediately slightly put off the moment I went inside as there was no greeting or welcome. I was standing there awkwardly for a few moments until I was acknowledged. When I was finally greeted by someone, I told them the cut I wanted done on my dog, dropped off my dog, and then I left. However, I received a call later, telling me that every grooming aspect I asked for would be an extra charge- for the certain cut, paws to be groomed in that way, legs to be cut in that way, the trimming style, everything was all $10 extra each, which I had no idea about, and they should have told me earlier while I was dropping off my dog. Because I didn't want to pay extra, I ended up just asking for a teddy bear, circular trim on his face. However, I was extremely disappointed when I came in and saw the final cut, as it looks like they literally just did a summer cut all over his body. They completely just shaved off the fur on his face instead of doing the teddy bear cut I asked for, which was the ONLY request I had, and it looks like they just grabbed a shaver and shaved everywhere all over his body. The bottom of his face near the mouth is also trimmed crooked, which is incredibly unfortunate as that takes a while to grow out. It's genuinely something I could've done at home, and I'm disappointed as I was looking forward to this place. I don't think I'll be going again, and I don't recommend going unless you're willing to pay extra for every single cut. However, I will say that a friend of mine who came here was happy with their experience- maybe it's because they paid for everything or I just might not have had luck this time. Maybe it was because there was miscommunication with how I wanted his cut? I'm not sure... If I had known that everything was charged extra, I would not have come. I'm worried that my kids will be very upset with how it turned out. read more
