Great place for breakfast every so often. I took my mother in law here this past week end. The restaurant was clean, the servers were nice, and the food good. The only thing that needs a slight improvement is house salsa. I am a fan but it's "hotness" overpowers the food you are eating. It just needs to be a little less. read more

Thee Monte Critso was on-point. they give very fair additional (without having to ask) amount of syrup for your pankcakes. One very important point. I have been drinking pink lemonades for over 30 years. This, by far, was the very best house-made one in my entire life-experience. read more

I would have given this place 3 stars if it weren't for the lack of COVID precautions. I was shocked to see the waitress wearing her mask around her chin - not covering her mouth or nose. To make matters worse the man at the register (inside) wore his mask the same way - around his chin. We felt very uncomfortable but wanted to support a local business. I hope they improve their protocols - we are in a global pandemic, the business should be taking more precautions to keep their employees and guests safe. read more

I enjoyed having lunch here . The burger was good . It's nice as clean and spacious . The waiter is decent and not constantly hovering . The food was ready in about 15 minutes which is good . And there's also a nice outside area but I didn't sit there . Overall it's a solid 4 star , I can't give it 5 star it isn't excellent it's pretty good though . read more

This is my favorite diner ever!!! The food is great and cheap, the pink lemonade is so good it's dangerous!! They are always busy on Sundays I always feel like I'm not going to get a table but the hostess is very accommodating and caters to everyone who walks in and doesn't favor anyone. The owners have been in Yonkers for over 30+ I believe and they are doing an exceptional job! My go to is an egg while Florentine omelet with turkey bacon on the side with homemade french fries (not homefries those are amazing too but they have homemade french fries) and the toast with butter and strawberry jam! On September 19th around 2pm, I came here with a friend. From the moment we walked in, I received bad vibes from this diner. The waiters ignored us and did not come to seat us until 4 minutes later. By this time, we seated ourselves at the table. Then, we both ordered pink lemonade as our primary drinks. A few minutes later, we received our drinks. As I was telling my order to the waitress, I noticed that a small dead cockroach was in my drink. The waitress looked surprised, saying that she did not know where did this bug come from. She wanted to get the manager so that he may apologize to us. My friend sipped the pink lemonade prior and felt a little uneasy afterwards. I just wanted to warn people of this diner and tell them to stay away because they may have an infestation. I left immediately. Went by myself for a weekend breakfast to fortify myself for a day of errands and laundry, nothing special. Adequate diner-style food, no complaints or surprises in that department. My server was capable and pleasant, so no issues there either. But I probably won't be back. First off-putting thing was a note on the menu that single people could not be seated at tables (this left the small counter, which has room for maybe 3-4 people and seems to double as a work area for the staff). I asked my server about this and she said it meant tables that seat 4 (I was at a small table for 2, though the tables were so tightly packed it wasn't always easy to tell the difference if you were more than a few feet away). Presumably this also meant I couldn't be seated outdoors, since the outdoor tables all seat 4, but I let it drop. Second off-putting thing was the general atmosphere. I wasn't expecting fancy ambiance, but I at least expected diner-neutral. They've tried to cram far too many tables into what is a very small space; people at adjacent tables, with about 4 inches between them, must literally be rubbing elbows. Even the staff seemed to have barely enough space to navigate and do their jobs. It was also as loud as any crowded bar, without the upside of the alcohol to take the edge off. It was like a crowded subway car, only with less charm. Or if you prefer a more rural metaphor, it felt like feeding time on a factory farm--move as many cattle up to the trough and out again as quickly as possible. The owner has absolutely no common sense and is rude. The staff can be as equally as rude and obnoxious. I've eaten here quite often and today I found a hair at the end of my food, cooked into my eggs. They honestly thought it was some sort of ruse on my end as to not pay for the bill. I've spent $30+ easily every time I've gone here with no issue yes it's an issue now because there's a hair. I wonder if the owner would've eaten the hair in front of me with no problem. I mean come on. And the waitresses are usually nice well the one with the longer hair, the shorter hair one is always rude but today something was in the air because they were both rude for no reason. Our go to Sunday morning spot. This family owned restaurant has the best staff. The outdoor patio is so pretty. The food is generous portions and cooked with fresh ingredients. Im surprised I have not written a review for this place. My family and I have been coming here for years- this is our go to breakfast place! I don't think we were ever dissatisfied with the service. They do know how to suit their long time customers. It is a great place to go with family to have brunch- especially in the summer time when outside seating is available. Staff is so friendly, the food is great. We usually get chocolate chip pancakes, triple deckers, omelettes. My father loves their omelettes. Their milkshakes are also great! This is the worst. We ordered through grub hub and they claiming we got the food. Not only we never got the food but we called over 32 times to Paxo's and no one answered. I ordered from Seamless just a burger deluxe and an Iced Coffee and it took forever. The wait time was more than what was originally posted.
