They cover their own employees mistakes and will not admit to it and make excuses. Bogus reviews, fake, made up lies etc.... this place is not even worth a second of your time. Overall, great experience and I would recommend. I don't have vision insurance but needed an eye exam since it had been over 5 years since my last one. I found this place online, called and asked if they accepted HSA payment (they did), and booked an appointment for an eye exam. It was my first time coming to this place. I didn't do this but I recommend asking for the cost of an eye exam so you are prepared to pay if you don't have insurance like me. Once I was checked in, I completed one test and was asked if I wanted two other ones that were more in depth. The employee did explain what the additional tests were for and told me the price as well. I accepted and took them on the spot. I was then seen by the doctor who checked my vision and ran other tests. The results were explained to me and I was able to asks all the questions I had. Paying afterwards was easy too. This store was recommended by a coworker. I had complimented her about her cute new frames and she told me what a great experience she had. I visited today 10/11/25 and was promptly greeted by Gabriela. She helped me find what I was looking for. I did not get my eye exam done there but they do have a deal with exam and glasses. I chose the Pair Eyeware to mix and match magnetic frames. There were plenty of other styles to choose from for men and women. Gabriela took measurements for my progressive lenses and rang me up. My glasses should be ready within 10 days possibly sooner. I will update my review upon pick up. She also adjusted my old glasses that I somehow bent, free of charge. Over all it was a great experience. Next trip I'll go when they open because this parking lot is very busy with Walmart and Costco gas traffic but still plenty of parking in front of their store. read more

Took my son here for an appointment to get new eyeglasses and exam 1st time. No waiting, just filled up info form and that's it. 20 mins later he was out and was assisted by Alicia for the frame. While waiting I asked a lady (Christina) if I can buy nose pad for my eyeglasses and said she can help with that. Went inside the lab, put in new pads and cleaned the glasses as spotless as it can be (no charge). Meantime, son found the right frame, did the estimate acceptable to us and gave us the schedule for pickup. These guys are really very helpful during the whole process. At the same time their frames are modestly priced but not cheap looking and fit your ​insurance allowance. They also have the lowest price budget frames (2ea) with eye exam. I was charged $149 for eye glasses and contact lens exam. Then charged $39.97 twice for 2 pairs of glasses. This place is a ripoff and won't give the prescription for the contacts I want. They are pushing the brand they carry. The brand they gave me to wear has caused my eyes to itch, red eyes and tearing. I took out the contacts but they were a pain to get out. I told the dr I wear my contacts for 2weeks and the gave me ones that were for one day. I had to go back in to get the prescription I wanted but the other dr said she wanted to try a different kind of acuvues But won't have them for two weeks. In the mean time I'm having to wear an old pair of prescription sunglasses to see. I'm extremely disappointed in the service I have received. read more

It was my lucky day today, waking up with an eye ulcer. Not! Couldn't have happened at worse time. I am an avid contact wearer with obviously a sudden need for a pair of glasses. I had none! After I got out of Dr appt, I remembered the commercial of "get your eyeglasses in about an hour" I googled a location, never realizing theres been a location right across the street from my work. I call my eye doctor to see if my exam is current. She said yes and that when I get to place of choice to call her. I drove over and was greeted immediately by Riley. I asked him if they did eye glasses in an hour. He said they do but what were backed up. Understandable considering everywhere people are short staffed so things get backed up. I literally mumbled in between words my situation with a desperate need for glasses, since I'm dealing with this eye ulcer. He proceeds to act quick and excused himself to go to back. He comes back and tells me, he can get them by tomorrow morning. Good enough for me!! I said ok!!! He asked me for prescription and I told him I just needed to call but he quickly offered to call himself while I started browsing. I went to look and found a pair! He came and told me he had my prescription, sat me down and I tried on my choice . He said they were perfect, and I agreed. I was happy with my choices. I paid, got my receipt and we were set for tomorrow at 11am. I was so happy with how smooth process went. When I finally got home at 4 I get a call. A number I didn't recognize. I pick up. It was a lady from Eyeglass World. My glasses were ready!!!!! I was surprised!!!! Same day!!!! I was there within an hour. Lady greeted me and remembered me from my transaction with Riley. I'm sorry I forgot her name but I think she was supervisor since she gave final revision on our transaction that morning. Anywho, she remembered me and quickly greeted me. As soon as she finished with her customer she brought my glasses out. I tried them on and it was love at first sight :) I will forever be thankful for the exceptional service and experience!! Everything was smooth and flowed. And customer service was amazing I am very pleased with every person in the office even parking was good! That was extremely knowledgeable and helped me pick out glasses that fit my face. Doctor has a bit of trouble speaking English but he was very kind and very kind and very patient. My first time to have an eye exam on this eye clinic, i gotta say its very reasonable Dr's and staff are very friendly very fast turn around, went for an exam Saturday morning got my new prescription glasses by Wednesday about 4 days waiting, not too bad at all, Also thanks Dr Nguyen for tweaking and turning those knobs getting my new vision corrected on my new Progressive lenses. I am very happy that i got my new vision on my new lenses corrected again, as i told Dr Nguyen that my former glasses is giving me the heights spell s, every time i wear my old eye glasses, seems that the ground is very near to my chest, it got the POV that you are pretty closer to the ground as i walk, this clinic is a fast phase so if you have any concerning questions m you better have it list down all your questions before stepping out that examination room, they will counsel you and ask every question you got! Shopping around for eye care option is difficult. Especially with the confusing options and features they offer for your glasses. After calling a few places for appointment availability Eyeglass World had an opening at the perfect time for me. Not only did they serve me right away but there pricing is extremely competitive and surprisingly lower that all other places. I usually supply my own glasses when renewing my prescription but after viewing their promotions on quality brands I will be making my purchases directly from them. When I arrived Griselda , Ana , Dr. Ryan quickly assisted me and the process did not even take an hour of my time. I had an eye exam in October here. They do a temp check and have hand sanitizer upon walking in. Dr. Nguyen is cool, he's kind of to the point but I like that. So after I am picking out frames and since I don't have insurance I am aware I'm paying for my glasses beforehand. There's only one little complaint and that's with the way it's advertised "2 pairs for (x)" and while frames fall under this ad the actual lenses don't. Not everybody is aware of this and I can see where there would be confusion at the price. Eyeglass World is one of a few that does this (America's Best and Stanton do too) but other than that I had a great experience with EGW getting my glasses! Christina helped me with picking out my frames and I went with a higher priced frame but all in all I expected to pay about $400 for everything including 2 pairs of glasses and I paid almost exactly that with the protection plan. I was happy. I got my glasses a week earlier than expected it took a week. I CAN SEE! I love my primary glasses-they have transition lenses and the glare reduction and the blue filter etc. and I have a backup pair without the transition option. I went yesterday (Saturday) because I noticed a lens on my glasses looked like it was coming out and I wanted them to help me adjust the arms and nose pads because the glasses were wonky when I put them on. Christina remembered me instantly and I told her why I was there. Chris helped me with my glasses, he's another great employee there they all are! But took him 5 minutes to hook my specs up and now they fit perfectly and I am good to go! I also bought some lens wipes there too because I haven't seen any in the stores for some reason. I'm so annoyed at the fact I called this place gave them my insurance information the day before AND was advised they would call me with information regarding my coverage with my insurance. She said she would call me that afternoon or the next day before my appointment (mind you! My appointment was late at 4 pm.) I never received a call, but ASSUMED my insurance was squared away and accepted since I TOLD THEM PRIOR to my appointment all insurance information!!!! So of course I was frustrated and annoyed that I found that information out last minute when I arrived. I give this place a two star because the place looked clean. And it seemed like the employees would be a tentative to all patients. This branch is close to my home so I would love to use it. But my husband has had every order he picks up from here screwed up. His lenses or order are always messed up, and never ready in 10 days or less like they say. He waits weeks because of the mess ups. All of this didn't make me review them because I like eyeglass world as a company. But today I went in to the branch on Broadway. With all the COVID rules and requirements, I understand it's tough to be in a company accepting walk ins. I came in and told them what I was there for. Waited at door to have my temperature checked before entering. Then I was told it would be a fewminutes and I sat down to wait. I proceeded to look through and touch eyeglass cases without so much as a breath from anyone but as soon as I walked to the eyeglasses she scolded me. I don't mind being told there's a policy or if a store has items they don't want touched but choose to continue displaying them. But not scolded like a child for touching glasses on display and accessible to touch!! They should put a sign up or at least get their employees to understand you don't scold people to keep them safe. You put clear signs up in front of the glasses stating your policy and or let them know when they enter. This entire world is too bruised right now to have people freaking out on customers in any capacity. The eyeglass world in Eastlake is amazing. Employees are on top of it and helpful. They communicate etc. I will never go to this one on Broadway again. read more

My daughter and I came to this location to look at frames. The staff is friendly and asked if we needed anything. I didn't plan on purchasing anything until she told me that if we did buy two frames my daughter would get a free Eye exam. With her not having insurance this worked out perfect. The dr. had a cancellation so he was able to see my daughter. There are so many frames to choose from and go as cheap as 2 for $78. Their turnaround time can be as fast as the same day or just a couple of days depending if they have supplies or not. After picking up my daughter's glasses I bought a couple pairs for myself and my daughter received a Amazon gift card for $25 for referring me. Veronica is very patient and so friendly she made the experience worthwhile. After I picked up my glasses I was offered 50% off any other frame, which I took advantage of.
