Usually when I rate that it's a perfect score there isn't much detail to write about. It's just simply THAT good. You would think each time we visit Chicago. People say, "You got to do deep dish" NO! YOU DON'T! I DO WAHHH I WANT! geez and now this would be my regular spot to go when I hit up Chicago. Honestly the personal size is perfect! with a side of their wings was top notch! Not overly fried and dried out like other places. Not dense in sauce. I would come back to try out the other options they got.

My eldest son raved about this place! He's a teenager and the place is right next to the train station. I judged a book by it's cover and had lowwww expectations! How silly of me!!! My son ordered two slices of pizza which were huge and a 20oz drink. The total cost was $11 and some change. Well worth it! Great crust! Chewy, with a crunch yet soft. Quality cheese not overly salty. So darn good!!!!!!!!! I went back and ordered four more slices for their dinner! Delish!!!

Good pizza spot right under the Sedgwick Brown Line stop. Good people running the business too, made me feel welcomed and excited to eat the pizza. They even reheat the pizza in the old if it doesn't look fresh enough. I thought that was a nice touch because I've been to other pizza places & they serve you the coldest pizza they have. Even if it was laying out 8+ hours that day... Pazza Pizza doesn't do that. I did notice they had other food items on the menu and I will definitely be back for those. I had the Buffalo Bacon Chicken Ranch Pizza and it hit the spot. I've been wanting to stop by this place everyday during my commute and I'm glad I did this day. The slices are about $5-$6 each and if you get two, then you get a drink for free. Thank you Pazza Pizza, I will be back soon! Personal Review: 7.1/10

Ordered plain cheese for delivery. Kind of confused about all the positive reviews. Upon opening the box I was unimpressed by the cheap looking cheese and crust. Then, disappointed by the lack of crispiness or crunch. However, at least the seasoning was not bland (garlicky). And since it's pizza after all, I ate the shit out of it. At first I had a hard time placing the flavor but then it dawned on me. Dominos. It tastes like Dominos. Slightly thinner, and a slight step up in ingredients but man, Dominos. Maybe a generous 3 stars, but I did scarf it down regardless. Edible. Also I'd like to mention it photographs better than it looks in real life.

Way overpriced dominos. Was excited but disappointed. Pretty confused cause all the other photos look much better. Got the buffalo chicken bacon ranch pizza as well...

Good no-frills pizza place. Right under the Sedgwick and North subway stop which made it a convenient pick up and go. The interior is clean and has some seating but you can tell it's mostly a grab and go place. There's a selection of pizzas in the display that are ready made and can buy by slice, and they have a wider selection of pizzas if you want to do an entire pie for takeaway. Slices are reheated quickly. The pizza here is "regular" pizza not the type of heavy butter or super crispy thin crust they sell in the deep dish chains nor the floppy stuff you get at the dollar slices in NYC. I wouldn't call this place NYC style pizza. Tasty, filling, affordable and convenient.

Great pizza by the slice! Pepperoni and Meat Lovers

The cauliflower steak was delicious (though it was a thick slice of cauliflower so it wasn't so tender) and served with cheesy faro. The fried chicken was bone in chicken and had the perfect crunch and flavor. It's served with tasty mashed potatoes. Lastly we ordered a side of their Mac n cheese to split between the table which I would recommend. If you're celebrating a birthday they offer a complimentary slice of their hummingbird cake which was honestly the best cake I've had in a while. Our server was so sweet and helpful when ordering! The space is also very romantic with low lighting, a smaller intimate dining room, and stunning art.

Our server was alert and conscientious, along with the staff assisting her. We ordered the Deviled Eggs, Buttermilk Fried Chicken, Shrimp & Grits (3), & Chicken Sandwich. Deviled eggs were delectable. Both the sandwich and fried chicken were great, but not spectacular. The shrimp and grits fell short for me, but my family enjoyed theirs. Now for the star of the show, Hummingbird Cake. Had I known this cake was so mouthwatering, I would have ordered 4 portions and disregarded my meal entirely. I'm absolutely going back to try the brunch and order a second helping of this cake. Overall 8/10

This is a great quick lunch option especially if visiting the zoo/park/beach area. Everything felt light, fresh, and healthy. It felt a little pricey for me but it's Chicago so it may be normal so take that as you will but for how delicious and the amazing ingredients it's worth it. From the food and ambiance to the consistently outstanding service, everything is truly top-tier. This visit was just as exceptional as every one before it. We shared the Sweet Corn Hummus, Spicy Whipped Feta, Brussels Sprouts, Crispy Wild Mushrooms, Crispy Potatoes, Grilled Chicken, and the Lamb & Beef Kefta. Every single dish was outstanding. I wish I had taken more photos, but we were too busy enjoying the food as it arrived at the table! For drinks, my sister loved the Strawberry Rose Paloma, and I enjoyed a glass of Kir-Yianni Sparkling Rosé, which paired beautifully with the meal. The warm, seasoned pita deserves its own recognition. It's soft, pillowy, and absolutely addictive. Honestly, it's hard not to fill up on the pita and spreads before the rest of the meal even arrives. Our server struck the perfect balance between friendly and attentive, without ever feeling intrusive. We usually make room for dessert, but we were completely stuffed this time. In the past, though, I've loved both the Warm Sticky Date Cake and the Frozen Greek Yogurt, and I'd recommend either without hesitation. I was secretly hoping for a tiny scoop of frozen yogurt as a birthday surprise, but my server didn't mention it and I didn't remind him of the celebration (and honestly, we were way too full anyway ). As a huge Top Chef fan, it's always special dining at Chef CJ Jacobson's restaurant. I had the opportunity to meet him during my very first visit to Ema, and he was incredibly gracious. His creativity and attention to flavor are evident in every dish. Ema continues to set the standard for what a great dining experience should be. It's the restaurant I recommend most often when people ask me where to eat in Chicago, and it remains my go-to place for special celebrations. I can't wait to come back again soon! #ImNotAFoodie #ImJustAGirlWhoLovesFood #YelpEliteSquad PS: the hotel next door no longer provides parking validation.
