Good place to get a slice of pizza for lunch. Quick service and good service. Spacious. Location is great. Unique interior. They have the standard pizza pepper flakes and Parmesan cheese. Yet also they have some Louisiana hot sauce which is nice.

I'm pretty floored by some of these negative reviews - I thought Pie-Eyed was awesome! It's in my River West neighborhood and I finally got to try it recently. We got the Summertime Chi Pie and loved it! We also went for a thin crust and that didn't disappoint either. The crust was super crunchy which I love and the flavors were great. We did take out and it was ready and hot when promised. We would definitely eat here again!

We live in the neighborhood and have always heard good things about this place. Today we stopped in for a few slices and had a great experience waiting for our pieces while chatting with the owner. The pizza was thin and crispy. The sauce was tangy and sweet. Safe to say that we will be back!

This place was recommended by a friend so we had high hopes but what a bummer. The crust here is not good - tastes like old cracker crust. The sauce is sweet and tastes like tomato paste. For the price point ($30+ for a large) Will not be eating here again. Cheese fries were decent.

Nice guy working and few folks in and out It's just really overpriced. Got a 14 in "gourmet" pizza for 34 bucks. It's not bad but it's just a slightly nicer dominos meatzza with red peppers (which cost around 12-14 bucks). I think they are around 30-40% overpriced. Ranch tasted really good but it was a dollar for a small cup. Maybe this is normal price in Chicago?

This is how I imagine pizza would taste like if I successfully made it at home. There was a lot of tomato sauce and it moved the cheese around. I didn't like the crust so glad there wasn't much of it. But I felt that it could have been more crispier. The pepperonis was the only thing making it tasty. This is an 18" pizza so there was definitely enough. The price was average after a discount. Then again, I am a fan of Domino's and their garlic crust so maybe I'm not the best person to ask for pizza advice.

So disappointed with this place. I had it bookmarked for a long time, they have a huge sign on the window claiming the best slice in Illinois. Anyone that knows me, pizza is my love language. I was having a day and I realized how close I was to the spot and was excited to try a slice. The inside was shut down due to covid. I called in my order- they grabbed the slices and heated them out then brought them out. Took my first bit, just not impressed. Even though thin, it was dry. It lacked a little flavor so added crushed red. Then went for the ranch which was not fresh and definitely came pre-made. It had a strong soybean oil taste and unappetizing. Overall, did not enjoy and probably wont be back. 2 slices came out to $12. Gave it 2 stars bc I am hoping they are not doing their A game bc of Covid and they really are a much better slice. So wish them the best of luck and on to the next slice!

Pie-Eyed Pizza is one of my top 5 pizza places "for delivery" I am in love with their Thin Crust-Pepperoni, Sausage, Red Onion, Red Pepper and Mushroom, and Tomato Pie! Their Perfect Crust-holds up the sauce and toppings, is soft and evenly cooked!!! The cheese is authentic shredded whole milk mozzarella which makes all the difference for leftovers being heated up! They also sprinkle pizza seasoning on the finished pie! Oh My Pizza Pie- I have ordered a pizza every week for the last 3 weeks! Love it!!!!!!!

Came in one day for lunch. Things I Liked: Size of slices of pizza Crispy pepperoni when they reheated it Good music Friendly staff Location (right outside of Chicago Blue Line stop) Things I Didn't Like: Pizza was reheated and had consistency of cardboard almost Two slices and a drink was $12. A bit overdone, but not too bad. Just an average pizza joint from what I can tell.

This PLACE DID NOT DISAPPOINT! We tried the basic deep dish pizza with pepperoni to go and it was delicious! The sauce was tasty and thick, while the burned edges gave it an added flavor unlike any pizza we have ever tried. The bread is not a "pie" crust but more a fluffy, thick bread. I do recommended you order ahead as it's a 45-50 minute process to cook the masterpiece. It was well worth wait. They have two entrances for this location. One is the pick-up and go side while the entrance closest to the street corner, is the sit-down restaurant. I did notice people waiting outside and when I walked in to see the vibe, they had a small bar area and had several high tables to sit at. The hostess was really sweet and I even bought a $1 sticker to remember our stop here. I highly recommend this location for your deep dish pizza experience!

They push the Mediterranean Bread, and honestly, you should let them. It's enormous, blistered, fragrant, and arrives like a hot air balloon made of carbs. More importantly, it gives you something genuinely delicious to tear into while you wait for the pizza pot pies to emerge from whatever subterranean chamber they're baked in. It's both a starter and a survival tool. A reservation is non‑negotiable unless you enjoy contemplating your own mortality in a weekend crowd. The wait times can stretch so long you could starve to death before your name is called -- and the regulars will nod knowingly as they step around your skeleton. Plan ahead. The salads are comically oversized, the kind of portions that make you wonder if they're meant for a family of four or a single very determined marathon runner. But let's be honest: no one is here for lettuce. We're all here for the pizza pot pie, that molten, bread‑wrapped, cheese‑laden dome of joy that defies every attempt at categorization. It's not deep dish, it's not thin crust -- it's its own thing entirely, and that's the point. This is the place you bring out‑of‑town guests when you want to show them something uniquely Chicago without defaulting to the usual deep‑dish suspects. But it's also the place you come back to on your own, because once you've had that pizza pot pie, it lives rent‑free in your brain until you return.
