I a great experience at PB luxury Nails! I made an appointment 1 hour before and was seated as soon as I walked in. Clara gave me a traditional pedicure with the callus treatment add on and she did an amazing job. The salon was super clean, the massage actually felt like a massage, and the callus treatment was so thorough. They even used the power tools, and my feet have never felt softer. The total was $58, which I thought was very reasonable. My only complaint is the parking, but that's not the salon's fault. One side of the lot is free, while the other is pretty pricey. If you can't find a free spot, I'd recommend looking for street parking. I'll definitely be back and would absolutely book with Clara again! read more

I love my nails so much! I am very picky about my nails and I go for a natural look. I also do ombré classic baby boomer design so it's hard to find nail salons that can do it. Also these are my nails so I love that they are not rushing to just cut my nails off and help me upkeep my nail health. I wanted to like this place because it's close to my house but I was disappointed. My normal place is by sdsu and I didn't feel like driving over there because I just needed a last minute pedicure. Everyone was nice but the pedicure felt rushed and the lady doing my toes drilled my skin, which I know can happen from time to time but she did it to every toe. My cuticles look worse after the pedicure than they did before and now I have multiple wounds around my toes that are burning from the drill. As far as the paint job it was done super bad. Streaky and missed spots. I got a light color and she only did 2 coats so it came out pretty opaque. The owner seems great but it seems the other employees working don't value precision and don't care if their work is done sloppy. Like I said, I'm sad because I wanted to like it. But it was throughly disappointing. Unfortunately I would not recommend. read more

I don't know about you but I'm the type that only goes to get pedicures to get a nice foot/calf massage and a decent paint job, like a nice relaxing treat after a long couple of weeks. This girl hated her job and wasn't very friendly. None of the massage felt good, it was rushed, repetitive and sloppy. Paint job looks okay though. If you come here, just get the cheapest pedicure because the most expensive one definitely isn't worth it. I had a really disappointing experience with this manicure. The nail polish was applied unevenly, with different numbers of layers on each nail, which made the colors look inconsistent. Some nails were also very thick, while others were thinner, so the overall result looked messy. Even after 1.5 hours, the polish still wasn't fully dry. By the time I got home, my nails were completely ruined. I had no choice but to remove all the polish myself. What's most frustrating is that I only got my nails done because I wanted them to look nice for a wedding -- a very important day -- and instead, it turned into a stressful and disappointing experience. read more

So disappointed in how my nails turned out. Spent $65 on gel x and pointer finger completely lifted within 3 hours of leaving the salon... they offered me to come back and get it fixed but it seems pointless. Paint job is extremely sloppy, there is leftover nail polish on the sides of my nails. She didn't clean up my nails at all before putting the extensions on, so my cuticles look absolutely awful too. I could've done a better job myself and I'm really sad I spent the money on this.Totally not worth the money at all. read more

Was in town recently on vacation, our friends were staying longer than us, she needed her nails filled. Our guys wanted pedicures, so we booked appointments. I didn't need services due to the fact I had mine all taken care of before leaving town. The establishment is very nice inside, and very friendly. I was able to sit next to my friend while she was getting her fill. They even offered me bottled water as I sat with them. The guys looked like they were in pedicure heaven. Flower pedals in the water, nice cold beer, foot, and leg massage. And to top it off, they got the paraffin wax booties. Their feet were as smooth as a babies hiney! If we lived in town I would come in just for the pedicures. I can't remember who did my friends nails, but she did a really good job. Our only question was she didn't have her wash after all of the filing, before the polish. I guess everyone does things differently. But where we go, they always have us wash.
