I absolutely love this place. Everyone here was so sweet and took really good care of me, I will definitely be coming back. My nails look great. One of the nail techs helped me pick out the perfect color and I absolutely love the work that was done. The signature pedi was so nice, the massage was everything. My techs pressure was perfect and she kept checking in with me. The vibe of the place was so calming and it was overall a great experience. The only reason I am giving them 4 stars is because I received two cuts on my big toe from the callus remover device, I know it's not intentional. Also, I signed up for regular polish and got gel. I very rarely get my nails done so I wouldn't have know the difference and probably would have gotten gel anyways after I thought about it because of its durability but I just wish they asked because I didn't originally budget for it and it was a surprise at the end. read more

I'm devastated. I came in for a hard gel removal and asked the nail tech to only remove the top layer so I could let them grow out. He completely stripped them down, removing all the hard gel layers and the first layer of my nails. My pinky nail is transparent. He also used toe nail clippers and cut them all straight across after, making my nails crack around the edges. He also went back in with a smaller drill bit and started drilling down the part of my nail that had grown out! Why would you do that? I left in tears and filed them myself at home. Photos of before and after both are my real nails. The before photos were also done at this salon, Olivia did an amazing job but this removal was so terrible (was the man who handled it even certified?!) I asked for a French tip and then I changed my mind because the French wasn't to my liking. I was told I'd still be charged for the French and I agreed with it. They left my nails super bumpy as they painted over the French. I came back so they can fix them and tbh had the nastiest attitude, I didn't expect it to be a free service and they keep bringing up a color changing fee. This place is great if... you want to ruin someone's day? If you want to burn money. Or hey, if you want your 70something mother to be yelled at *on her birthday*... Thanks, Four Seasons! I sent my mom here to treat herself because my usual spot was booked. She came out 30 minutes later with smudged, dented 'dip' nails. I couldn't believe they would let her leave in that shape. As we drove, she confessed (remember- I'm the one who suggested she give them a try) that they were abrasive and that the entire experience was odd. She asked for dip and they were about to start acrylic until she stopped them (she's a dentist and could smell the material). Then for the actual service they didn't clean her nails (she gardens), they just cut her hard-grown long square nails short and round, put one layer of dip before painting polish OVER and putting her under a light. Huh? Totally weird and, interestingly, not how any other salon in all of America does it. Then, as we ate birthday lunch, Mom's nails started to melt!!! It would have been funny, but it wasn't. But hey, everyone makes mistakes, right? I suggested we go talk to them. She kept saying they had been so abrasive when she was in that it wasn't worth trying to get it fixed but I gave them the benefit of the doubt. No self-respecting salon would want someone walking around like this, right? Right?? I insisted we try. We stopped by and, seeing the salon full, I quietly spoke to the man at the front, explaining what had happened. I support small businesses and there was no reason to draw attention to what had been done. Even HE thought it was a regular manicure and asked what day she'd be in. Um... sir, how about just a few hours ago? He seemed sheepish when I pointed out she'd paid $50 for it, too. Next thing I know, the nail tech RAN to the front and got in our faces. She got right to it, telling us off and saying how this is how dip is done. *Insisting* this is how it's done. That my mom just didn't know what she wanted. (Reminder: mom's a dentist. She's not short on brains.) The girl then grabbed a cotton ball and started dramatically wiping at mom's nail, and the color immediately wiped off because - gasp!- THIS WAS NOT A PROPER DIP MANICURE. On the upside, I'm sure this entire scene was entertaining for all the customers now watching. All those folks, stuck in tubs of water, sealed to their fates. No offer to fix it, no apology, no recognition just how awful the manicure was. Just some girl berating a local senior, standing by her masterpiece. We decided to leave [#choosesanity]. I called my usual salon from the car, explained the situation, and they offered to fit us in immediately. On the way, I texted a few girlfriends my disbelief at how the salon handled the situation and found out this is the worst-kept secret in town! Apparently no one I know goes there anymore. My friend's dip chipped the next day and they told her off and charged her $50 to fix it. Hm, sounds familiar... I can't believe this is how Four Seasons would run their business.To quote the great philosopher Sebastian Maniscalco "Aren't you embarrassed??!!??" Come to think of it, one star might be generous. ** I appreciate that the owner responded, but I'm actually laughing at the recap of the exchange. I'm not putting more energy into this. From other reviews, we're not the only ones who have experienced the technical or personal problems we saw. I hope Four Seasons learns from this experience. read more

All I have to say is overpriced and bad quality! Came in to get acrylics not only did they not even use actual acrylic powder they used some cheap gel on top of my nail that felt so flimsy I could do them at home, my nails were uneven in length and they were bumpy, and not even smooth when the paint was on. The lady that was doing my nails was holding my finger so tight that I actually had to say ow for her to realize that it was hurting me then she continued to do it again. read more

I love this nail salon so much. I have been a regular for a while now, always seeing Tina (SHE IS AMAZING!) But Tina was out of town at a family commitment so I ended seeing Olivia instead. I am a creature of habit and am never happy to welcome change so I was hesitate allowing anyone else to refill my nails, especially because I left for vacation the next day. HOWEVER, Olivia was AWESOME! She did such an amazing job and I now can honestly say I would be happy to have her do my nails anytime. I had a somewhat tough request for what I wanted, but she nailed it! No pun intended - ;-p I love them so much. They are exactly what I wanted. Traveled from Santee to treat my girlfriends to a pedicure. Based off the reviews, I found this place is Pacific Beach. This is our first time here. I also am an amateur pedicure person. My girl friends however know a thing or two about pedicure's. 3 girls sat down first and I was last to start. Once we sat down, a flood of walk ins came in. Because of this, I felt like our services were rushed. My technician requested I take advantage of the Healthy pedicure. I said, I trust you. It wasn't until after we left I noticed my service came with a wine of choice. I was not offered my wine of choice. We did leave with pretty toes. read more

Had an11:00 AM mani- pedi appointment with a friend this morning. They started my friend pedi. I was waiting a while to get started on pedi. Another 3 people came in that did not have an appointment. They started the 3 people for their pedi's and left me sitting waiting. I decided to leave. I am a local client. The is extremely bad business practice.I get asked recommendations all the time. I will not recommend Four Seasons Nail & Spa. There are a lots of nice other places in Pacfic Beach that I feel I would be treated better. read more

I'm not one to leave reviews, but the way this place has recently treated me definitely warrants it. I paid for a full set with tips about 3 weeks ago, and I believe the technician used dipping powder instead of acrylic or something to that effect. Within a week, one of the nails snapped off at the tip. I was out of state so I couldn't come in to get it fixed. By the time I went in for a fill, 4 nails had broken off. I have been getting full sets with acrylic for 10 years now (with breaks every now and then to ensure nail health) and this is not normal. I explained this to them and what I thought the problem was, in hopes they could do it the correct way this time. They said because some of my nails broke, they'd need to charge me for a full set again. I was a bit annoyed and then they asked for my phone number to look up my record (maybe they thought I didn't actually go there, and it wasn't their work?). I've gone to this place about 20 times over the last year, and yet somehow they couldn't find my record. They then asked what card I used and tried to cross-reference it with their transaction logs, but again, they somehow couldn't find it. I expressed if it was that big of a deal, they could probably verify it by checking their security footage, to which they responded with "they don't have time for that," which I get. Time is valuable. Time is money. Which is why I didn't think it was fair that I paid for a brand new set when the technician was at fault for doing my nails incorrectly - I work hard for my money. She then responded with, "my client is actually coming, maybe you should go somewhere else where you'll be happier." Girl, don't lie but I will gladly take my business somewhere else. Not to mention, the receptionist was super rude, short, and snappy from the second I walked in. Avoid this place at all costs. read more

I've been coming to 4Seasons for almost a year now and they've always provided quality work and services each time! Before I chose a nail salon I will literally be on yelp and Google for HOURS even if it is day of or weeks before. It was 30 minutes out from where I lived at the time and honestly, they might be part of the reason I moved closer to PB Not only are they good but there is a natural happy environment as well. Tina is very meticulous about her nails and designs and I truly appreciate that. Phuong does an amazing job as well! I could say so many more postive aspects of Four Seasons but I hope you can get the gist of how much I value them! Please check them out! I have only been here once and my fingernails were super thin after, but to be fair, this was my 2nd or 3rd time getting dip in a row so this place may not have been the culprit, but other than those two things, I would've given a 5 star review! This was my first time here and we went because my mother was in town and she wanted to treat me. There has been a shake up (I feel like) in PB nail salons but I kept hearing great things about this place and one of my favorites, Essential Nails, is not great for a service with a friend (they don't have the massage chairs and such). My mom and I were treated well, offered beverages (so many place advertises they will give this to you but never offer), serviced in an efficient but friendly manner and we were happy with the results. I even heard the manager being understanding that two ladies who had appointments together had to have one cancelled as the friend went across the street on accident and had already gotten started by the time they realized the mistake. read more

This is one of my favorite nail places, ever. The people who work here are just so sweet, and seem genuinely happy to be working with each other. They've always done a great job on my nails too. We called around 10am on the Friday after Thanksgiving to see if they could fit me and my kid in for pedicures and they made us an appointment for 11. The amazing part was that they were actually ready for us at the appointment time, which I think is rare in the nail salon business. The two women who did the pedicures for my daughter and me were really friendly and gentle (but effective) with our ingrown toenails. They were also able to fit in a quick nail-painting job for my other daughter. The prices were reasonable. The place was clean and comfortable. Service is amazing! I did a walk-in on Tuesday night for a full set with French tips and chrome. The lady who did my nails slightly did a messy job. I didn't want to complain because she was nice and spent a long time. However, the shape was inconsistent, the excess gel pooled to the sides of my nails, and the French tips weren't clean. By Friday, one of my nails popped off and another nail began to lift. I came in to get it fixed and Tina (bless her soul) re-did the set. I didn't expect her to re-do ALL my nails but she did and I'm so thankful! Tina was super meticulous and very caring. She knows what she is doing and I can see why people love her so much. The gentleman in the front was very accommodating and understanding. My new nails look cleaner and feel more comfortable than the before. I'm super happy with the experience and my new nails. Unfortunately this is the second time I've come in and questioned the cleanliness of this place. I was really surprised to see that the nail tech who finished another pedicure brought the same nail tools over to me without sanitizing or getting a new set. I actually watched her go to the sink and rinse it for 5 seconds in water and bring over to me. The salon was pretty busy and I didn't want to make a scene so I politely asked if they sanitized their tools in between clients. She said yes but proceeded to keep the same set on her cart to use on me. I quietly declined the pedicure and said I changed my mind. After that she said I'll get you a new set, and brought out a nail set in a sanitized packaged. I'm just confused why they aren't doing that automatically.. it's a huge sanitary issue for me. She did a good job and I could tell they were trying to do some service recovery being very nice but unfortunately that will be the last time I visit here :/ read more
