The menu price was $18.99 but I was charged $22 so unless the taxes here are really high they added on an additional charge for carryout. I thought it was good, although they are short on servers. The vegetable pho was full of shitake mushrooms, vegetables, fresh bean sprouts, cilantro, herbs and tofu. It was refreshing and light. these prices are completely misleading. we got a combo pho and it came out to $24 because they don't give you a combo, they just charge for extra meat (6.99). all of their pho is 18.99, not 13.99. they forgot a whole portion of our order and then tried to argue with me saying I didnt order it. The good: pho was good! Flavorful broth and lots of sprouts and fresh Thai basil on the side. I ordered with brisket but wouldn't again- the beef was tough. The pho is delicious and quickly served. I always get the beef meatball pho for lunch, and waddle away completely full and satisfied. I probably should not eat the whole portion (it's quite generous), but it's so tasty I can't help myself. Pho is obviously the house specialty, so I'm not likely to try anything else on the menu. First of all this is a Vietnamese "grandma" home made Pho shop... looks and feels just like any spot in Hanoi that I've been to... funky "floating market" wall paper, not quite straight, paper supplies piled up on the back wall, limited menu and I dropped by on a Sat at 8:30 pm and they were closed... I was visiting from LA. My husband and kids were skiing and I was craving something hot to warm my belly. I was skeptical at first - authentic Vietnamese pho in Park City?? Tried this place for lunch and I was pleasantly surprised. I had the Combo Pho and Eggrolls. The rolls were fine - nothing great - but good enough. They give you the sweet and sour sauce vs fish sauce which is what I'm used to. But the pho was great. The bowl was huge and broth was well flavored. I wish mint came on the side plate but it's probably difficult to get fresh mint in the winter. The bowl came no out piping hot and satisfying on a 11 degrees day. I hate to write reviews like this, but I have to... When I first entered the place in the early afternoon, I could tell that they had just been hit hard and were finishing a rush that looked like it had been extra busy. The place was a mess, but I get it. They had just gotten slammed and it was during the week of the Sundance Film Festival. Every business is just trying to keep up during the festival due to the large numbers of people that attend this. I was seated and the table was promptly cleaned for me. I ordered an extra large B2 Pho (Beef Brisket & Meatball), and the A2 spring rolls (Shrimp). A bit later I was told that they were out of shrimp and asked if I wanted the veggie rolls (tofu) instead. I agreed. The pho was ok. I've had better and I've had worse. It didn't quite have that fatty, greasy feel to the broth that you get when real bones are boiled to make the stock. Perhaps it's canned? Anyways, the overpriced (yes it was expensive compared to other pho places in the valley) mediocre food isn't the real problem here. The place was staffed by "mom" and what appeared to be #1 son. Mom was in the kitchen and son was the front of house person. While eating, I watched the son go about cleaning the mess from the previous rush. He bussed tables, picked up used napkins from the tables, picked up trash from the floor, sprayed down and wiped the tables... all with his BARE HANDS. Then he proceeded to handle some receipts, seat new customers and handle their menus, then SERVE FOOD. He NEVER washed his hands!!! Mom came out of the kitchen and handled the same receipts son just handled with his dirty hands and then she returned to the kitchen. She NEVER washed her hands!!! This place is a JOKE!!! Seriously, how they are even in business is a mystery. The pho is just plain disgusting. The cleanliness is horrifying. And the service is laughable. I ordered a Medium Beef Combo to go with an order of spring rolls. They said they were very busy, so it would take 20 minutes. Fine. I showed up exactly 20 minutes after placing the call. There were a whopping 5 other customers, all of which had already been served. 20 minutes later, when I was ready to walk out, I finally received my to go order. It was two of the smallest spring rolls I've ever seen, that were mostly filled with shredded carrot. And they had a very off-putting taste. And the sauce was disgusting. Oh, and I forgot to mention, while I was waiting, I noticed that they very obviously water down their soy sauce! I don't use soy sauce in pho, but I found that to be yet another red flag. The "ccoks" were also portioning everything by hand, without gloves. And again, nothing about this place screams "clean" by any means, so it made me extremely cautious. When I got my order, it came with--no joke--about 1 cup of broth. Like one measuring cup worth of broth. It wasn't even enough to coat the noodles. And I can't tell you how awful it tasted. Not sure what all the hype is about, but I've had pho waaaay better than this place. I had the brisket and meatball, while my husband had the beef combo. Both of the broths were watery and hardly had any flavor to them. They tasted more like chicken broth then beef broth. My brisket was gamey and chewy, the meatballs tasted better and had a better texture. In the medium sizes, there wasn't a ton of broth to begin with, the bowl was half full when we received it.
