I usually go here for Beef Hofun noodle. I like it to be dry because some other restaurant can made it gravy style. Sometimes, other restaurants over soak the noodle before they stir fry so the rice noodles are breaking down but this restaurant have never put me down so far. Their egg roll is very tiny and I think it is a bit pricey but it is hot and very crispy. Besides the beef hofun it is similar to other Chinese restaurant. My step daddy wants Chow Mein, that is what he will get. After all, he has just come out of the hospital after an over a week unexpected stay/illness. I did a little yelp search close to home where I knew I may be able to call in an order and pick it up and it will still be hot when we get home. I ordered up 12 different menu items. Called in it somewhere around 12ish for a 4:45 pick up. I wanted to make sure since I was ordering quite a bit of food I would be fair for them to prepare. My husband arrived before 4:45 and they were finishing up a few of last minute details. He got back and only one of the soup lids had cracked apart and spilled inside the bag. Over all all other items made it safely. Food was still warm and everything was delicious. My step daddy was pleased and it is good to know we have a place near by that we can order from. I took my first trip to PC Restaurant tonight as my wife is still out of state with her family in Colorado. I ordered the dinner combination for one, and I chose the following: General Tso Chicken, spring roll, hot and sour soup, fried rice, and, even though I knew I shouldn't, I also ordered fried wontons. Everything was Delicious! The chicken (my first time ordering the General Tso Chicken) was fantastic, and I am so glad I ordered it (I will absolutely be ordering it again!). I was asked how spicy I wanted the chicken (1-5), and I said a 3 (I wanted to play it safe). I did not think it was too spicy at all, but I'm not sure if I would have said 4 in hindsight. I also loved the tasty soup and the spring roll was Amazing (best spring roll I have had I think)! My wontons were eliciously fantastic (I couldn't stop eating them, and I ate the whole order by myself. Yikes.). The Only thing that wasn't "life changing" for me was the fried rice that didn't have quite as much flavor as many other versions I have tasted. Verdict: you will Love this place. Been coming here for years primarily because I have not had a bad meal here., although I prefer to eat in. The chef remembers me whenever I drop by as I often enjoy their beef kung pao (which isn't on the menu). Beef is always tender, sauce is perfect: slightly sweet, savory, spicy, tangy, with a hint of black bean - very unique. It also has plenty of fresh, chunky veggies: onions, carrots, peppers, water chestnuts, and a handful of crunchy peanuts. I love their veg spring rolls, and their hot and sour soup is the best in town. They also do a very good seven-flavor beef, which has a unique flavor profile that should not be missed and good salt and pepper pork chop too. Generous portions and good wok mastery (wok hei) gets high marks in my book. Just wish they would jazz up their menu with some new dishes once in awhile. Very solid 4.25 stars. read more

This is a solid choice for Chinese food in the Bothell, Mill Creek area. Situated in the retail area just off I-405, it's easy to get to and the food is good. Situated between an Arby's and Five guys burgers, this is usually an easy choice for me. I usually go for lunch, but haven't been in for dinner yet. My normal dish is the MaPo Tofu. Lunch comes with hot & sour or egg drop soup, fried rice and an egg roll. Good value and good quality food. 7 flavor beef is a standout dish, with unique flavor and good spice. I had the almond chicken for takeout, which was crisp and flavorful, but the gloppy sauce was a turnoff. It can be crowded at lunch, meaning difficult to get a table and a little slow. It's fairly popular. PC describes itself as "perfect Chinese". I wouldn't go that far, but I like it and wil go back. read more

Ordered 5 dishes and only 1 dish, the Mongolian Beef, was decent but it was mostly onions. The Hot & Sour Soup had too much sesame oil. The Honey Walnut Prawns and Sweet & Sour Pork had too much breading. There was hardly any vegetables in the House Chow Mein. Very yummy food and a nice server. We enjoyed our meal and experience here, and will definitely be back. The restaurant was about half full, and had a steady stream of take out customers but we still got our food quickly. Everything tasted fresh and well prepared. We got the dinner specials that came with an option for soup, type of rice, and entree. I got the egg flower soup, white rice, and sesame chicken dinner. Just discovered this place this weekend and it did not disappoint! The location is a bit unappealing in terms of the building needing a little bit of love but the food was great. We got this food twice during Pandemic. The price is nominal , service is quick , friendly gesture and accommodates customization. With so many positives I still rate it 3 because of food. Food is good but I felt not so fresh . The friedrice taste average , Kung pao chicken tasted not so fresh . Mangolian beef was good. Spring rolls were good too but too much oil. Soups were yumm. Used to like it here years ago. Tried again last week, my deep fried chicken had a bad old oil taste and was hard to eat. The sriracha on table looked a dark color so I looked at expiration date and its from 2019! They kept all the old food from before Covid! Makes me wonder what else is expired they are using. A customer came in while I was there and asked if they use MSG as his wife got a bad headache after eating there. They said yes they use MSG in the sauce! Also the tables and windows were very sticky and dirty. Not going back here again sadly, too many red flags. read more

5 stars for being the best cheap eats Chinese restaurant in the Bothell/Canyon Park area. Chef/Owner is friendly and talented. We've ordered many great things from the menu and our favorite is the House Special Fried Rice and Hot and Sour soup. The place is really busy with non-stop orders on weekends. And yet, the Chef does a great job with all the Entrees and will give you a nice greeting when it's not busy. We hardly ever order chinnese food as we never seem to find a good place. Decided to try PC restaurant because of all the positives reviews on FB. I was underwhelmed. First of all I thought they delivered, but they did not. So we did pick up. Service in the restaurant was inefficint and slow. Overall I found the food to be so so. Nothing special, not bad but underwheleming. We had the honey walnut shrimp which was probably the best dish, rice, mu shu veggies and hot and sour soup. Every single item on the menu here tastes exactly the same. The quality has slipped drastically in the last few years and the meat in both of the dishes I ordered tasted rancid. The won ton soup also had a strange funk to it and the won tons were decomposing before they were added. I don't know what the mystery meat is, but we ordered pork and chicken. General Tso's tofu was spicy and sweet, my favorite of the dishes we got. Orange chicken was pretty good as well, would like more chicken and less breading. Moo shu was mixed... they didn't give us the crepes or plum sauce in our to-go order, which is a bummer since we're too far away to make it worth driving back. Husband was super bummed. Last week I ordered their General Tso's chicken. It came with white meat and was delicious. I ordered again today and unfortunately, once I bit into it I could tell that it was dark meat. It had a very gamey, greasy taste to it and was not edible. I called to see if I could exchange it for white meat since that is what they did last time (without asking for it) She proceeded to argue with me and say that they always make it with dark meat and that next time I will have to specify white meat. She refused to comp this meal. All she had to do was exchange the dinner at no cost and she would have kept a satisfied customer. Because of her unwillingness she looses a customer and my repeated business along with the business of anyone who sees this review and decides to go elsewhere. Very foolish business decision. This place just took over the old space of the magic dragon and once again is serving Chinese. When I walked in I was immediately greeted by the chef and presumably one of the owners in the back. I saw green beans on the menu and broccoli with beef but not green beans and beef. He was nice enough to make it special for me and charged me a fair price. They had some issues with the credit card machine while I was there but that is part of owning a new business. The green bean beef was excellent - the girlfriend had the chow mein which I thought was decent but I didn't think it was nearly as good as my dish. Both entrées came with a spicy soup with tofu that was a little too spicy for my tastes. Overall and improvement over the magic dragon and will probably visit again. read more

So hard to find good Chinese food around Bothell, this place is great and won't disappoint. I highly recommend going here.

Having moved to Washington almost 3 years ago from California I have come to realize there is a dearth of authentic Chinese restaurants here. Plenty of Teriyaki joints, but very few Chinese. With literally 2 options within miles of my house I have always held out on trying PC Chinese due to the prices (exorbitant to say the least) but with a real hankering for Chinese I decided to give them a try tonight....my mistake. I placed an online order for delivery at 6:20pm with an expected delivery time of 30-40 minutes, my food arrived at 7:38pm. My order consisted of a cup of Wonton soup, Salted Fish and Chicken fried rice, and Teriyaki chicken (not something I would normally order but figured with the ridiculous amount of Teriyaki places up here it would be a safe bet, wrong). The order totaled $35. While the food tasted decent, it was definitely not mind blowing and was absolutely overpriced based on quantity, quality, and presentation. The Wonton soup had a good base broth but the Wontons were obviously premade and added to the broth as the soup was ordered. Mine tasted like they hadn't been warmed through and the noodle tasted undercooked and rubbery. At the many Teriyaki places I've gone to they take a chicken breast and cut it up, here it seemed like the chicken was again either prepackaged or maybe made ahead of time - thin slices of chicken that had a rubbery quality to them. Which leaves the fried rice, which really shouldn't be that hard to mess up but I couldn't even discern the pieces of fish and chicken that were supposed to be in it, although I knew they were there (at least the fish) because of the smell. Overall pretty poor experience from the wait to the cost - none of this meal was worth it. So sad since there is a real opportunity for some good Chinese food up here. I will absolutely not be returning nor could I ever recommend this place based on my experience. My husband and have gotten food to go (special fried rice and the ma po tofu) in the past and it was all decent until we threw another dish in the mix last night - Singapore Noodle. It was okay, too dry but there was PLENTY of noodles and the flavor was there. Here's the kicker: Let's just say I had to stay home today from work in order to stay close to the bathroom. I've been up all night! I think it's either the shrimp or something else in the noodles. Sad thing, my husband is feeling the same effects but had to go to work - poor guy. My favorite place for American Chinese food closed down without warning a few months back. The thing I missed most was their egg drop soup. Thick and gelatinous, perfect for when you're starting to feel sick. I've tried several other Chinese, Thai, etc places that offer the soup on their menu, but had yet to find anything comparable until I swung into this place on a whim. Not the kind of place you want to dine in, but great for take out. Huge portions, good food, great service. My only complaint is that the pot-stickers are so-so and the sauce they come with isn't quite right. The chicken fried rice is a close second as far as comfort food. You can also order ahead online. PC Restaurant has officially lost us as customers after bringing us late, cold food leaking contents all over the place. The first time we ordered delivery our order was 20 minutes passed it's "required" deliver time. Today our order took even longer. This time our order took an hour and fifteen minutes to deliver when the order was placed at 7:11PM, far passed rush hour. The food was 30 minutes passed the "required" deliver time. I asked the delivery man if there was anything he could do since our food was cold and late. He called his boss who apparently said we still had to pay full price. To put icing on the cake, I opened the bag and found soup and other liquids placed at the bottom of the bag leaking all over. Fool me once, shame on you, fool me twice, and I am obliged to write an honest review about restaurant dishonesty. The food itself was average on the Chinese food spectrum. We ordered the General Tsaos Dinner combo. The rice lacked flavor, the hot and sour soup was only sour, and the meat was overcooked. I advice all passerby's and locals to avoid this place at all cost. They false advertise delivery times, give terrible customer service and serve you cold, overcooked food that leaks contents all over your kitchen. read more
