After a YEAR at PCC Collision.

Worst experience ever! -5 We had agreed to a restoration on my 300ZX. I believe the original timeline was three months. Constant excuses, dates missed, lies about schedule, BS about work done, I'm not sure why Dave Paul Coggeshall even agreed to do the job. After about a year I had to drive my car away in worse shape than I dropped it off. This guy attempted to give me a loaner car with tires that had the wires showing through and about to blow out, he had to have it towed away from my home. The whole experience was absolutely despicable. Not to be trusted, I later googled his full name, I suggest you do the same before considering this "Business". Another thing??? Why all these 5.0 customers??? Seems unlikely to me. lol the reply?? Wait so you didn't want to do the job but you took the job?? Check your math bro, I had to take the car back Feb. 2019, it took me a while to get around to posting this but I was busy having to get my car fixed and restored by legitimate body shop. I voiced my concerns at the time. What I didn't know at the time (an auto body person should) was that you charged me for panels I couldn't use (covered in many layers of uneven paint) and "aligned" frame that had to be redone. It was still the worst experience I've ever had!

I was looking for a shop to liquid paint a set of aftermarket wheels from black to silver (more my taste). I chose four business that had good reviews dealing with wheel coloring. Out of the four, only two would do liquid paint. One of those quoted about $1000 (really?). Paul at PCC Collision was easy-going, personable, came with very good reviews and quoted less than half that. We decided on the color and I left the wheels with PCC. Paul texted me when they were done, attached a couple of photos and I was stoked. When I saw them in person, I was thrilled with the result. The color was beautiful and the application was fantastic. He had suggested leaving the inner drums black to minimize the visibility of dirt collecting in there. Good call. In addition, I asked him if he could paint-match some black plastic hole plugs I'd bought at Ace Hardware to cover three license plate holes in my car's front bumper. He did this as well and they look great, much better than the open holes. Paul also recommended that I take my newly painted wheels and my tires to Element Wheels in order to avoid scratches during tire installation as they have a touch-less mounting machine. Thanks Paul for an excellent recommendation, as they were stellar as well. I heartily recommend Paul and his staff at PCC Collision. They're very easy to work with, knowledgeable and produce quality work.

I highly recommend this place after the great job they have done. Initially I brought my Camaro to the shop asking about the price to paint the wheel. The owner Paul(If I get the right name based on other reviews) was professional, told me they'd powder coating the wheels and gave me a quote without any sell pressure(unlike many other places). I told Paul I need some time to decide and he's totally ok with that. Then I showed him some scratches I've got recently. And we quickly scheduled an appointment next day as they are closing soon. So next day I brought my car to the shop again. Without too much waiting, they pulled my car in. And Paul even remember where the scratches were. They buff the scratches out in about 5 minutes. And then my car looks amazing, you cannot even tell there are scratches unless you check carefully. I was fully satisfied and was about to pay. And then Paul told me it's free as it didn't take him too much time. They really made a great day for me with their good quality work and great customer experience. I will definitely take my car back if I decide to powder coating the wheels or I need other body shop stuff.

I had a great experience with this mobile mechanic. He came out to me and replaced my A/C…read morecompressor, and the whole process was smooth from start to finish. He was on time, professional, and clearly knew what he was doing. He explained everything in a way that made sense, didn't try to upsell anything unnecessary, and made sure the job was done right. My A/C is now blowing cold again like it should, and the car is running perfectly. You can tell he takes pride in his work and cares about doing a quality job. On top of that, the convenience of him coming to me saved a lot of time and hassle. I'd definitely recommend him to anyone looking for reliable and honest mobile mechanic work.

I am giving two stars because of the only positives: they scheduled my inspection within a few days…read moreof calling and Justin, the technician that arrived, was very nice. However, I am very disappointed with the level of expertise and outcome of the visit. My 2014 Jeep compass has had the check engine light on for a week, steering locked up last week, and has had delayed clicking start. Justin arrived, I gave him the full history of my vehicle (no problems for 10 years) and the issues occurring the last month or so which prompted the call. He started running tests, even drove the car around to see if he could replicate what I had been experiencing. About 30 minutes into the visit he said he couldn't replicate any of the issues; that's okay, as I mentioned it only happened about 50% of the time. But he sat in my car another 20-30 minutes or so, told me he had to call his boss because he was completely stumped. Not really what you want to hear, but even I started making suggestions of what it could be so he could at least do something for me. At the end of the visit he basically just said "sorry I have no idea what's wrong, maybe replace your battery?"... the only thing he found was a sensor on my engine needed replacement, but it's totally unrelated to the other issues. I ended up having to pay $150 for literally no better idea what's wrong with my car and not feeling any safer to drive it. It was a huge waste of my time and now I'm out $150, and I still had to take it to another shop that already figured out the problem not even 24 hours later. Save yourself some money and go to a real auto shop. I understand that some technicians may be learning or lack the knowledge to dive deeper, but someone should be going with them to assist so your customers aren't left feeling robbed and confused.
