Said they would have to unattach my driveshaft due to towing a heavy duty vehicle. Like okay i hear that, they unhook driveshaft and deliver to a discount tire 5 miles away due to my trucks front tire blowing in Milwaukee, thus needing the tow. When dropping it off the driver said discount tire can put it back on, i asked him if he knew that for certain or guessing. He shrugged...we paid then 50$ to unhook the driveshaft to then be told by the driver they cant hook it back up due to legality reasons....when we called the company back next morning asking them for a solution. The front desk lady told us that we lied about our vehicle size and that the cost shouldve been 800+. But we did tell them, texted them a picture and ALSO the driver wouldve "logically " tell us upon arrival that price would change or he cant due it because "we lied about our vehicle" (ill attach pictures of us texting them a picture of our rig). She continued to say that its common and all box truck owners know that upon towing the driveshaft would be unattached and would have to get it reattached on our own dime. Which thats not "common knowledge ". Wouldn't as a tow company, youd want to inform and educate your clients? They said we got a steal of a deal due to their new girl of one week "misquoting us". (Talk about poor management then)... I dont think 800+ for a single tow to then pay more money on top ($250) after the fact to make my truck DRIVEABLE again was "competitive ". However, due to all the recent ice and snow apparently AAA services are way behind schedule and are not towing from Portland to Vancouver, as that is "out of area". We were advised that we could pay for a tow and AAA would reimburse us. I immediately looked on Yelp, as other Yelpers reviews always make a difference. This is how I found Affordable Towing and Transport. Based on the reviews of great service, I called and like the others had an intermediate response. I explained the situation with my 78-year-old mother needing to get her car towed from SE Portland to North of Battleground, WA. Tom let me know that he had a current car on his truck, but could make it to my mothers location in a reasonable amount of time and transport her and her car safely home. This was wonderful as I was still at home in Vancouver, but was reassured that she would be taken care of and I would not need to drive down there to her location. (Mom was safe and sound as she'd been visiting my handicapped sister.) When he showed up, he said that it sounded like she had a dead battery. However a local do-gooder said that he had already tried to jump her car and to him it seemed like the starter. So Tom loaded up the car and took my mom to her home north of Battleground. It turns out Tom was completely correct in his assessment. My mother had left her car lights on for over 40 minutes and the car battery had died. How many tow truck drivers would have diagnosed an issue that would not require a tow? I am ever so impressed with that level of customer service! As it was now rush-hour traffic, my mother and Tom had a wonderful conversation on the long drive to her home. She simply cannot say enough good things about this wonderful man. And her housemate was also extremely impressed, as Tom was concerned about the neighbors and had even turned off his truck lights while dropping off her car. The housemate also asked for Tom's card for whenever he needs a tow, as he has a bunch of kids who love working on cars. It is such a blessing to have a man like this out on the roads helping others. With a kind heart and thoughtfulness towards others, I would consider him the one to hire whenever I also should need a tow of any kind. Please do give him your business, as he is the sole owner and operator. This is the kind of small company we should all be supporting!

It was pouring rain, I had little phone service, and I was nervous to sit in my car for fear of it rolling backwards on the big hill and potentially off the road alltogether. I called roadside assistance through my insurance who were not grasping the danger of the situatuon I was in. Therefore, I was quoted 80-110 minute wait time until an unknown tow company would be able to rescue. I called 3 Angels towing, but kept losing service. The wife of this family business immediately texted back with concern and care, which is what I needed in the situation. Within 30 minutes, the husband and daughter were there to get me out and to a nearby gas station in under an hour. They also charged me pennies to all the local tow companies who would've gouged me because I had no other way our of this situation. 3 Angels in right. I think back on this situation and how much worse it could be. I was dealing with some whiplash and shock, but the family made me feel at ease on the drive back. We were even laughing about random things by the end of the drive. They wouldn't accept a tip and were just kind, good people.
