Menu seems to be more limited than what I remembered (before COVID) but they may have less options that early in the morning. I got the plain waffle which was just okay. It's also 4.50 without tax. A little soggy than what I like. I also had half of my boyfriend's hash brown which I actually enjoyed a lot. It's late 2am. I'm hungry. I stop by Jack in The Box, the lights are on, but no one's home. McDonalds, same thing. A Different McDonalds, SAME THING. I'm driving toward more food and I see there are people in Waffle House and they look to be eating!?! I pull in and walk in and, heavens to Betsy, people ARE eating! I sit down and the waitress starts taking my order. Eggs? Over medium Bacon or ham? Bacon What kind of waffle? Plain waffle Grits or hashed browns? .... What's better? She looks at the cook and says, "What's the grits look like?" I turned to the cook and said, "What do you recommend?" Waitress: "Depends on what the grits look like." Cook, lifts the lid, stirs the grits once, looks over at me, "Hashed browns" in the warmest southern accent you've heard. "I appreciate that. I'll go with the hashed browns." The food was spot on. I did take it to go so it lost some of the temperature. I like my food piping hot, but that's not Waffle house's fault. If it's late night, this isn't a bad option. Walked right in to open seat with my hubby. Smelled clean and also like good food cooking. Service was quick upon sitting. It was busy but clean. Bright clean silverware and glassware. Wife was craving waffle House. Stop by this place, as the other one was typically having staffing issues. Was looking for a change, but this place looks like they had just taken on a bunch of new stuff. A lot of training going on. Looks like one lady was running the show and helping all the others out as they were progressing. She took my order and made sure everything was good. Had a couple of hiccups in the order. My bacon was missing and my eggs had no cheese on them, but she corrected them quickly for me. My son had the typical All-Star breakfast with patty sausage cheese eggs and toast, with hash browns, and a waffle. However, when we got home, we noticed that the waffle was not plain but had pecans in it. He was not happy. He peeled all the waffle that had pecans in it out and he probably had less than 50% of his waffle. Everything else was fine. I had four cheese eggs, egg whites, with hash browns all the way with chili and no gravy and no ham. My wife had a sausage and cheese omelette, with hash browns and a biscuit instead of the toast. My daughter had a slice of ham and some hash browns. If everybody sticks around at this location, they will begin to thrive. The crowd was in full effect that morning. read more

No one seats you so it's kind of take whatever is open seating. We usually get ignored for a bit if they're busy but they'll come around... Food is decent. Our family of 4 with ojs and coffees and tons of bacon usually hit about $40 or less! Great deal to us. I don't expect stellar service but you get what you pay for. Staff is hustling but they can never seem to keep up with the traffic during peak hours. Overall; we love the cheap prices and good food. Kids go nuts over blue berry pancakes and hash browns. Waffle House is one of those restaurants that stand still during the test of time. It had been at least 20 years since I last stepped foot in a waffle house, but nothing has changed - except for an upgrade to the jukebox to a more modern electronic version. The menu was the same and if I remember correctly, so we're the prices. Or maybe I wasn't the starving college student anymore and didn't care how much coffee and eggs cost. When my Seattle born husband mentioned that he had never been to the W House, I knew we had to go. We grabbed the kiddos to expose them as every good parents should. Yes my kids are used to finer palates, but truth be told... they loved waffle house. The staff were awesome tending to our needs and was full of yes ma'ams and other manners that would have made their mothers proud. While the floors could have been cleaned a bit more and the menus made this germaphobe nervous, we will definitely be back! Let me make this clear. The ONLY reason I am giving this place 5 stars is for the complete AMAZING service Linda provided my family this morning. My husband and two sons ages 12 and three went this morning after church to enjoy our meals at waffle house. Linda was so kind very attentive and such a joy to work with. But, there was a woman by the name of Destiny, which I only know her name because how many people kept telling her to knock it off. She was very combative with other employees as well as customers when they requested things like coffee and she would shoot them off telling them that she had to help someone else first in a rude way. Destiny along with another woman wearing a mumu of some sorts which I am assuming it's because of Halloween were both extremely rude to Linda, to the point where my 12 year old son and I both left in tears. Both of these women were making sure that Linda's orders would get called out after their's even if Linda was there first which made anyone she was serving get their orders late. Destiny was making comments like "shut the fu** up" and "get the he** over it" on multiple occasions. I refuse to ever be helped by either of them from here on out. I will say there is a nice cook with a dreads pony tail and he is always super kind and attentive and a woman named antionette as well who we enjoy. But destiny and that other woman are a complete disgrace to customer service and should be dealt with accordingly. I have already contacted corporate and will continue to support the good working customer service individuals at this Waffle House. read more

We always ate Waffle House in the wee hours of the morning, and this was our first time having it around 11 AM on a Sunday. It was a packed house for sure but we were able to get two seats at the counter in 10 minutes. Like most Waffle Houses, this restaurant is outdated but classic. I've always encountered nice staff who act like family in my past WH experiences and here is no different. I got my usual All Star special with waffle, scrambled eggs, sausage, has browns, and toast. My husband went all out with the pork chops, the chopped and smothered hash browns, and a pecan waffle. My meal was very good. My husband mentioned the pork chops were standard. I had a taste of his hash browns and pecan waffle and I got jealous. I will get those items again next time. As always, the prices are very reasonable, and you get so much food! Our waitress needed to be in a rest home. She was not able to keep up with what was given to her. The wait time from ordering to her actually giving it to the cook was unacceptable. She also seemed like she had no experience. When given our bill, she had to get 2 calculators to figure out the bill. She also stood over us to make sure she got a tip. That is unacceptable!!!! Last night, I decided to give the Spring Creek location a break (after waiting to be seated & no greeting at all) and I'm glad I did. This was the "cleanest" (its waffle house), quietest, friendliest waffle house I have been in. I was highly impressed. The ladies there got to business & know what they are doing. This location is terrible. First of all I'm very visibly pregnant I received undercooked eggs that also had a hair in it. My choices were to remake it or have it taken off at that point I didn't want to eat. Surprisingly I was still charged for a drink and left to stare at my boyfriend as he ate. His hash browns were cold and waffle was cold and undercooked. We were one of three tables at the time. The servers were shouting about tip amounts back and fourth to each other and they antagonistically asked us if we had a good time to which we replied no and they said oh well you got a discount.... Always good. My husband and I used to come here every weekend. We got busy with life and everything else and hadn't been here for a couple of years. Stopped in today to the same great atmosphere, nice people, quick service and the food was excellent. We like to set at the bar to watch them work. I was a waitress for 10 years back in my early days and they have a unique way all their own for remembering the orders. Another one of America's classics places to eat. It's just something about their food that makes it seem home cooked, I see them cracking eggs scrambeling and frying them,opposed to boxed eggs which are just wrong amd never come out tasting like fresh eggs so maybe it's the fact that they use all natural foods and ingredients whatever the case im hooked amd I take all my friends wjth me when I'm in the mood.
