Used to love this place, but they took a big step backwards recently, much like their affiliate, Smoke Joint, did several years ago. They used to be called Marietta but rebranded and probably changed management, or at least lost their focus. The burger used to be one of the better ones in the city, but it was completely dry and overly salty. The portion for the fried chicken shrunk by a third or more, and it tasted like the oil in the fryer hadn't been changed in awhile. I didn't expect any special treatment because I brought kids to your restaurant way before peak dining hours but some acknowledgement of our existence would be nice. Once seated it went downhill real fast.a bottle of water, glasses, silverware and mr us were brought to the table and we were left alone for approximately 15 mins. We had to request to have a sever twice before Mikela came over to take our order. We ordered starters and the main meal and drinks at the same time. Our horderves came and we had to wait another 5 minitues for drinks, my coffee came without sugar or a spoon to stir, lemon requested which took another 5 minitues, we were finished with our appetizers and we had to pack up our dirty dishes put them to the side of the table and it took another 10-15 mins before someone came to clear the table. No one came over to ask us if we were okay or if we needed more water or anything after waiting about 25 mi s after appetizers were over i had To ask for the manager before my main meal was brought over. The manager came over and all i heard was excuses. I could go on with more examples of how bad the service was but i will Leave it right here. I did not leave a tip which did not feel good but whenever i dine out the service is why i tip. Sadly you only get one chance to make a first impression. Walked in today and found the restaurant half empty. There was a group of 5 people waiting to be seated and despite waiting well over 10 minutes no one approached us and offered to seat us. We asked if we could seat ourselves at the empty bar and we were told to wait until someone could show us. The staff was re-organizing items like water bottles and walking aimlessly around the restaurant but not taking the care to seat any of the people that were waiting despite numerous empty tables. While I've loved the food at the other branches of peaches (and Marietta) I won't be returning here. If the staff doesn't change their indifferent attitude there will be another rebranding in their future. We returned to our beloved speedy Romeo around the corner. read more

Likes: I am a big fan of all the other Peaches restaurants. Yesterday was my first time eating at the Peaches shrimp and crab. We ordered the fried green tomatoes I really enjoyed that. My mom had the jerk salmon and she loved that as well. Dislikes: I was very disappointed with the crab fried rice. for $10.50 it was not worth it. The rice was very oily, and it had absolutely 0 pieces of crab in the rice. Also it was literally one cup of rice. such a small serving can't be shared with two. I was also very disappointed with the rib eye steak. I came in with the mindset that this steak would be just as good as the rib eye steak that was once on the peaches on Lewis ave menu. let me tell you now, the two can't compare. its nothing like that steak!!! :( I will visit again and try something different. They weren't serving lobster that night, which really hampers you at a seafood place (to their credit this was because the price of lobster has blown up lately). I went to this place for the first time because I was on a mission to find a decent chicken salad. Instead, I got the furthest thing from decent. I paid a total of $18 for the Fried Chicken Cesar Salad which is way overpriced, even for Clinton Hill. They did not give me any utensils, so I had to pull the hot chicken apart with my hands, only to realize a few minutes later that the chicken was bad/expired. The lettuce was soggy and the sauce was sour. The best part of the salad was when I threw it in the trash. In fact, I probably could have pulled out someone else's lunch from the same trash bin, and it probably would have tasted better. I came here to celebrate my birthday with my daughter on a Sunday morning for brunch. Awesome place! They have a few tables outside where they let me sit with my dog, and even offered her a bowl of water. The service was excellent in general. I was a little disappointed that they didn't have the shrimp boil for brunch, but what we did have was very good: fried chicken with french toast, and a crab cake breakfast dish, and a chocolate pistachio cake with ice cream. This is a nice and cozy resturant. Came here on two occasions, once for brunch and the other for dinner. I ordered the shrimp and grits but it want fulfilling. Was looking for dinner in this after after leaving happy hour. Walked past Peaches and this restaurant was really big! It looked like 2 separate restaurants at first. 3 of us were able to sit down here at 8pm Friday without a reservation. The whole ride side of the restaurant only had 3 tables filled ( out of about 12 ). By the time we left all these tables had filled up. A friend and I both ordered the same thing- Tiger shrimp boil. The shrimp was incredibly tasty and the sauce was not too spicy, the shrimp were big and filling. There were a lot of potatoes in the boil, which I could do without. She opted to add the sausage and I did not (probably the better choice to add). The food came out really quickly, and the portion was hearty. I wasn't sure, so I had also ordered the Clam Chowder.
