I'm not usually one to leave bad reviews, but I felt I needed to share. I had an issue with my heating, and I had Peachtree come look at it. I learned later that it was a simple fix, but Peachtree lead me to believe that I needed a whole new HVAC and water tank, which would have cost me 11k upfront, or I could go with their "advantage" pricing (leasing the system), which I would have ended up paying roughly 21k over ten years for the system. They have a salesman come with their technicians, and by the time they had left, I had been swept up into signing a contract for a whole new system that I didn't need. Fortunately, I was able to cancel before my install appointment, which I had to insist on not being the day after my initial consult. For starters, the second they entered my home, they refused to directly interact with me. They would only address my husband for questions. Questions I was the only one who knew the answer to. Second, they installed both units incorrectly. I knew what was wrong but did not have any idea on how to fix it. It took three service men to come and look before one believed me and fixed the issue. Now, it is three months after I was supposed to receive a bill for payment. I have tried calling, emailing, and chatting. I can't get anyone to help, assuming they even answer. I hate this company with every fiber of my being and if they had a return policy, I would be sending those units back and just live without air for the summer. Good lord. read more

I have been with this company for many years and they have never failed me. My last experience was when my air conditioner stopped in 80 degree weather. I was in a panic when I called. Everyone was so patient and kind. They sent a tech to me within hours and fixed my old air conditioner. Praise the Lord. The ladies who answered the phone were compassionate especially Joyce who was outstanding. The tech Jamie was professional, kind, and patient with me. Peachtree service experts in Atlanta is not only not doing a good job but the new manager is very rude and impolite. They try to overcharge you and when you try to discuss the charges the manager's response is :" this is it. Take or leave it". This is not the way to talk to customers. I have decided to leave them and I recommend everyone else to do the same. The attitude of the managers is an indication of how the company will take care of your needs in the future and how they will service your equipment. read more

I am not sure what kind of influence this driver was under while driving , but he almost cost us to have a horrible accident today on Jimmy Carter. He almost hit us twice on the side at high speed. No turning signal, and he ignored the blasting of our horn on both occasions. He then proceeded to get into I-85 North bound while we made a suddenly right into a gas station so we wouldn't be hit. The people pumping gas at the Shells asked us if we were OK. I am not sure who hires this rude person. We got back on the road and merged into I-85 snd were able to get a picture of the van. I just can't imagine if a younger person with less experience was driving, it would have been a nasty accident just because this irresponsible driver did not want to miss the ramp to get to the interstate. He thinks that his time is more valuable than two people lives. Maybe we should start requesting proof of background checks and drug tests before these people come into our homes. read more

Paid $217 for a diagnostic that was quoted over the phone as $99. To have them explain the fees is like playing a game of guess which cup the ball is under. Part of the payment is refundable if one decides to move forward with their quote to repair. Their quote for repair was near the $7,000 mark. Another company did the same work for over $5,000 LESS than what they quoted. Ultimately i paid $217 for a quote. Wouldn't you feel ripped off? We've used Peachtree Service Experts for about 20 years and were pleased. But, in 2019 something happened. We've now been stood up 3 times...waited for the tech to come for the appointment and no one showed! No one called to let us know, either. Now today, our 4-6 appointment was canceled without our knowledge. We set the appointments with these two techs who understand our complicated two systems, but they switch out other techs last minute! There are many other issues with this company and until they get their act together, we highly dissuade anyone from using them. read more

As part of a new house purchase, we hired Peachtree Heating and Air to do an inspection of the HVAC system (the inspector for the full house is not an HVAC expert). We called a few companies and got quotes. Peachtree Heating and Air quoted $99 for the inspection, not the lowest price, but not too high either. They were able to meet the schedule we needed (only allowed a few time windows to get the inspections done), so we hired them. While the Peachtree Heating and Air guy was on his way to the house, he called us and stated that he would be doubling the price. He said that the must have misquoted. I was unhappy with them not living up to the quote, but I didn't have time to get another company. I told him to proceed. Once at the house, I got another call that the Peachtree Heating and Air guy was being unprofessional. Then, I found out that for $200, he didn't even check the freon levels. When I finally got the report, it was hardly a system inspection--it was a sales document for a new system. I called Peachtree Heating and Air to explain that I was unhappy; they said that I got a good deal and should really consider them for a new unit. The CSR thought enough to ask me if my thermostat batteries were out (my t-stat has no batteries) but couldn't ask me if I had cycled the unit off and on with about a 30 second delay between the off and on to keep me from having to pay a tech 84.00 to do the same thing? EDITED: 4/7/2019 Got a call from Service Mgr. Robbie. They understood my position and refunded the fee. Now hopefully they'll train their CSRs a bit better to avoid unneeded calls and fees. Let's break this down...Peachtree Service Experts "Peachtree": An attempt to associate with a symbol of the area to give prospects and customers a sense of familiarity and comfort. P.T. Barnum was credited with the saying "There's a sucker born every minute." Don't get sucked into this FALSE sense of comfort and familiarity implied by their name. "Service": Just showing up and pointing a temp gauge at the ceiling vents and then blaming the problem on someone else doesn't equal service. Recommended a new unit so we had a new unit installed. SAME ISSUE, SAME LEVEL OF POOR SERVICE. Shift blame to something else. You can't shift blame when the NEW unit was installed by PSE. I would have used organization, but they are far from organized. Good service is not typically marked by poor communication and lack of follow-up! "Experts": This should be stricken from the company name, in my opinion. If they were "experts" they would be able to figure out why the NEW unit is unable to cool properly, you would have a solution, and you would have used your expertise to get it resolved to the satisfaction of the customer. Just so Yelp readers understand, this is a problem that has been going on for MONTHS (more than 3). So while the summer has been hot, humid and uncomfortable outside, so have we...ON THE INSIDE! They claim 100% Satisfaction. Perhaps that is a misprint...100% Dissatisfaction. I would be hard pressed to find any aspect of this company worth recommending. read more

My senior citizen aunt called for her AC unit to be repaired. They told her that she would need to replace her entire unit for almost $10,000! Wisely, she got a second opinion. The very SIMPLE repair only cost about $100!!! When she called to say that their services were no longer needed, they tried to persuade her to buy the unit anyway. They told her that she can "store" the unit until she needed it. I believe they preyed on my aunt's naïveté. Moral: ALWAYS get a second opinion!!!! read more

UPDATE 8/17: After speaking with customer service, we were able to get the fee for the service call refunded. Customer service was helpful, and refund arrived quickly, resulting in new rating (3-4). Technician came out on June 21st due to A/C unit not blowing cold air. Blower motor was found to be non-operational. We were told that a new motor would have to be ordered, and that it could take up to 5 days for the repair to be completed. We agreed. 5 days later, we had not heard any updates on our repair, so I decided to call and ask about the status of the repair. I was told that no part was ordered and no repair was scheduled. I asked to speak with a manager regarding a refund of the service fee and was told that someone would get back to me. No one ever did. They offered to (re)order the part and schedule a new date for the repair to be done. I declined. Why would I let them work on my A/C when they can't even properly order the part and schedule the work to be done? I would not recommend using this company for any repairs. read more

Peachtree Services reached out to me with a near 50% special discount offering to perform routine maintenance on my heat furnace unit. Richard the technician arrived at the stated time, he was very professional in his approach, performed the maintenance in a timely manner and even recommended I consider replacing a capacitor, which I opted not to based on his response to my queries. Hopefully, a similar discount special will be made available just prior to the summer to perform maintenance on my AC units. read more

(4) Stars BUT would like to give (5). GO CUBS & BEARS !!!! Rudy did a spot on job as a CSR. Excellent follow-ups & follow-through. Definitely felt like, and on the final invoice, the he worked to get us the best deal possible. Which is SO MUCH NEEDED as this was not cheap $$$$$. We also got quotes from three other companies and went with Peachtree. As far as the Lenox brand, I'm sold. Not an HVAC expert/geek but have been impressed so far with the tech. and advancements made over the years. Especially compared to the old rotting indoor unit (and ducting) they replaced it with. Richie and Crew (not naming everyone, geeesh) did a good job too. Those guys probably don't get paid enough for doing what they do but I'm sure they are taken care of or else they would not be doing it because it is not pleasant. Especially in this hot muggy GA weather. Removed & Replaced the ducting & unit from the crawlspace and the outdoor unit as well. Installed, cleaned everything up, and were out in a little over half a day.. I went over a few points the company could definitely use some improving/changes on with Rudy but otherwise (4) Stars.. =D Biggest Public Complaint For ALL HVAC Companies. We, buyers, are not knowledgeable at all about this stuff (normally). The Quotes and Information Provided made EVERYTHING WAY MORE COMPLICATED. We had to spend so much time deciphering everything, make charts, cross reference the different units, packages, all the various & different options, warranties, etc.. Everyone is different and no one makes that part easy.. INSANE ! Plus while trying to communicate with multiple companies and then deciphering that information. We have been customers for years and believe these folks deserve the title "expert." We've recently been pursued by another company and refused to change from Peachtree Service Experts (PSE). The office staff is exceptional and proactive. They call me to remind me it's time to have our systems serviced. I appreciate that because I'm not tracking such info. They are very flexible with scheduling. They know we have dogs who need to be crated, so someone always calls 15 min. before the tech will arrive. That's in addition to the call telling me that the tech is leaving for my house now. The techs always explain everything so a non-techie can understand. If a big repair is needed, they will send a senior person out to verify what needs to be done. We've had their annual service agreement for years, and don't plan to change that. I can tell you it's a better deal than that offered by other HVAC firms. When a problem comes up, they get someone here as quickly as possible. In addition to being experts, they stake their reputation on the service component. We highly recommend PSE to others. read more

We recently switched back to Peachtree when we moved. Zee, our tech, is super professional and did a great job, finding several items the previous owner's company had overlooked or skipped (or more likely, charged extra for) such as cleaning the compressor unit coils and drain lines. Bonus: Peachtree's annual service contract was $40 less than the previous company when I called. Getting more for less, that's good service. read more

Stay Away! Had a outside house ac fan not spinning so I called Ptre Service Experts to come out and service my ac system. Tech just looked at outside fan then called someone. Told me it needed a new motor but best to get a whole new system. I didn't. Called another company who said after inspecting unit that it only needed lubricating ball bearings in fan. The rep was nice enough to wait for me although I wasn't home between the designated hours scheduled because honestly who wants to wait around for that? The employees are always friendly, but the customer service is on the low end. Some of the reps are not familiar with the plans, packages, pricing, etc. Needless to say, they are not trained well. In terms of the 24 hour service, there is an additional fee for that. Sometimes the rep will say he is coming and then he got caught up and couldn't make it. So in terms of being reliable, it isn't that great. They may try to get you to buy parts through their manufacturer, but don't be ripped off. Just buy them directly...google the part, buy it on ebay, amazon, whatever. It will be a lot cheaper and just have the "service experts" install them. Bottom line: I'm sure there are better companies out there, but I don't want to put more effort into finding another A.C./heating company. So I use Service Experts, good luck and be forewarned! read more

As an Engineer, I appreciate Tulsai's approach to preventative maintenance. The technicians themselves were nice and knowledgeable, but after being told it would be 2 days to get a part for the home a/c unit in the midst of a 100 degree heat wave, and me calling every day to check the status and being told 'tomorrow', it was 6 days later that I actually got the part installed, with no sense of care or concern in the interim. I realize sometimes things might be out of your control, but the lack of communication and apparent confusion about obtaining a basic part was quite disappointing. read more

We returned from a recent vacation to a very warm welcome from our house. Our A/C was not working. We called our "regular" A/C service company and they could not get here for a week. This was not a good option. I searched for emergency service and found Peachtree. They were able to send a person the next morning. Scott arrived on time as promised. He quickly found the problem. We needed a new blower motor. He had to go get the part. He returned within an hour and installed the part. When I got the estimate from Scott I saw his cost of replacement was not much more than my "regular" service company had quoted to just clean the unit. I won't name anyone here, but they will hear from me. We then had what we thought was a problem that was not addressed. PSE had an after hours tech, Sanjay, came to our the same evening. The problem was addressed and Sanjay was on to the next 3 after hours emergency calls. They are going to be my "regular" company from now going forward. read more

My parents were talked into a 14K Lenox unit 4 years ago. Since then, they have had to replace the unit once, compressor replaced once. Also, my parents tell me, one very, very cold day the heat crapped out on them.(Leaving senior citizens without heat for 24 hours!) At least they have a warranty, right?! The service department has been to their home no less than 7 times over the past 4 years. Most recently yesterday 6/23/2018. They were told they needed another air compressor that would not be available until Monday. I understand that this repairman is just doing his job. And, as my father was reading him the riot act, he was apologizing to the poor man at the same time. Not one member of management called or came by to make things right. We were told that, that night, a portable air conditioner would be dropped off. NOTHING!! They did call this morning and say one is on the way (My father called first!) I'm, personally, upset about this because of several reasons 1. The homeowners are 78 and 82 years old 2. One of them just came home from hospital and is in a hospital bed in living room of main floor 3. If this were a power or, in winter, a gas company issue they would be required by LAW to keep the power/gas ON!! I have no doubt that Peachtree Service Experts will get their unit up and running. My question is, was it really worth taking so much money from a customer? Why couldn't you sell them a 7K unit like mine? In the three years I've had mine (different company, of course!) NOT ONE SERVICE CALL!! I hope the management team can sit down and reevaluate their customer service and especially their customer care. Stop throwing your service reps under the bus! Peachtree heating and Air is amazing to work with. My AC was not working and they came out within a matter of hours. Their service technicians was professional, pleasant and very knowledgeable. It was 98 degrees and they was in the attic all day Bless there hearts. They where so awesome. I have never had anyone so Pleasant to work with they always had a Smile on there face even though it was so hot ! Thank you for hiring such wonderful men to work with ! Customer service was stellar and their price points reasonable. I would recommend this company HANDS DOWN for any HVAC service you require. I'm writing this review because Peachtree Service Experts has now sent me at least 5 emails asking to review their service (despite our attempts to unsubscribe). Their technician came out to do routine service as part of our annual maintenance contract. He checked everything out, said it was fine, and went on his merry way. The next morning, I woke up to water gushing through my ceiling, from the attic. He had forgotten to re-install the wet switch, and left the filter laying out next to the unit. I did give them one star, since they paid for someone to come out and fix my ceiling drywall and paint ;-). If anyone knows how to get off their email spam list, let me know!! read more

This company is horrible at its best. They start off by trying to scam you from the gate. The staff & their customer service is horrific. They lie when you ask questions & forget what they said, then when you recorded & wrote down everything they did say they act like they don't remember or understand. A technician called me hours before his arrival being rude & saying he didn't know what I was talking about even when I told him I had it in an email. He continued to argue even after I stated I had a special needs son that I was trying to deal with @ the moment cause he was already late to therapy so could he call me back in a few or when it was due for him to come out. He steadily continued to speak rudely disregarding what I asked, even after asking numerous times can I deal with my son first sir cause I can't continue to speak with you & tend to him. After STILL talking for OVER 10 MORE minutes he finally hung up to have yet ANOTHER rude rep call back & I stated to her the same & asked did your coworker not tell you what I was said?? She screamed do you want the service or not?? I said ma'am yes but AGAIN I'M dealing with my son & you're not due to come out for over another hour so can you please call me back shortly?? She said IG we won't be coming then & hung up in my face. It's sad how this world has become ESPECIALLY businesses that's taking ppl's money & supposed to be doing a job. Yesterday one of your technicians came by to repair my tankless water heater. After 10 minutes I was told that the circuit board had failed, and I needed a new and expensive water heater. I decided to seek a second opinion. This other plumber adjusted the water heater for a very reasonable price, saving me thousands, and when he left I took the best hot shower ever! If I could pick ZERO stars I would! Lets start off with I had an 8-10 appointment time for the following day. Well at 9:30 am the day of the appointment I called to confirm that we were still on track, instead of making sure everything was still good to go Mary decides to rush me off the phone. Noon rolls around and no one has shown up. So I call back and politely ask how much longer. I was told that who ever had made the appointment had scheduled it for July the 10th and not the 6th. They said I could be "squeezed" in between 4-6 that day.I have a 4 and 10 year old, so getting the AC fixed was critical. When the technician finally did show up, he was there about 30 min. After that 30 min he proceeds to tell me that at first he thought it might be that the coils were dirty (even going as far to SHOW me the coils) but that was not the case. It was the compressor, and he recommended that the whole unit be replaced. There was nothing else he could do. But he made sure to keep pushing for someone to come out and quote a new unit several times, even calling me AFTER he left to set it up. This news was devastating. My poor kids were so hot and miserable and the house was unbearable. I went bought a portable AC and PRAYED that Monday the company coming out that was used regularly by my landlords could give us relief. GUESS FREAKING WHAT???! The OTHER company came and were there for 1 hr. IT WAS THAT COILS WERE DIRTY!!!!!!! My AC works. THE HEAT INDEX THIS WEEKEND WAS 100!!!!!!!!! My KIDS had to suffer all weekend because your tech had no intention even trying to fix it! His agenda was to sale me something! SHAME ON YOU! I am beyond disgusted with this level of service. NEVER AGAIN. My son got nose bleeds because of how hot the house was. My 4 year old daughter was so hot she couldn't sleep. But making money was more important than ACTUALLY DOING HIS JOB! Extremely bad team experience with Peachtree Service. x33 coil on my Lennox A/C unit failed totally. First I was charged $177 for inspection of unit by Huy. I was then told it would cost $537 for additional deeper tests to determine why coil leaked. Finally, I was told even if tests confirm coil failure, the repair would only cover parts despite a clearly stated 10 year Peachtree warranty that had no mention of parts only. I just want to say thank you to Zee this morning. He was absolutely amazing with his explanation, work and knowledge. He was so kind and polite with me and my grandmother who is 88 years old. She called me this morning and said she was cold. Her air conditioning had broke sometime in the night. Zee came out very quickly and repaired it for her and got the heat back on and running. I contacted Peachtree Service Experts since they were the company plastered all over my unit from the previous owners of the house to get a quote/estimate on possibly moving the unit to a different area of the basement. Appt was scheduled for today 8-11am. 11:01 am rolls around and no tech or phone call. I called to find out what was going on. Female representative was very friendly and apologized. She then stated that she has reached out to dispatch and asked for them to give me a call to give me an ETA on the technician. It is now 11:47 am and STILL no call to give an ETA. I called back and I get a male representative. He was also very friendly and apologetic. I explained to the rep that I have another appt this afternoon and if the tech can't make it by 1pm then I would need to reschedule. He put me on hold for a brief moment. He came back and stated that he personally spoke to the scheduler/dispatcher for the technician and they are trying to get a hold of him now and that the dispatcher would contact me immediately with an ETA of the tech once they reached him. It is now 12:54 and STILL no call from anyone. At this point, I'm over this company. I called back and canceled the appointment. The ONLY reason I called this company is because they were the ones who installed and serviced the unit from the previous homeowner. Everyone/company wants to use this pandemic as an excuse for lack of professionalism BUT this pandemic DOES NOT hinder communication. Dealing with this company has been one of the worst experiences. They had performed some work on my HVAC in 2012 which, per their contract, carries a 1 year warranty. The day before the term expired, my AC stopped working again. I called and they promptly came out. Then the technician proceeded to give me a quote for over $1000 to get the unit working again. I felt the amount was a bit excessive, so I explained that the service should be at least partially covered by the work they did last year since it was malfunctioning in the same manner. The technician (obviously) disagreed and also explained that he didn't even have the correct parts to perform the work, so he would have to come back another day - and by another day, I mean, a week and a half later. He also stated that the service call would be free of charge, since he didn't really fix anything. I did what every normal person would do on a hot June Atlanta day, I called a different company... A competitor of theirs came out and fixed it at a fraction of the cost ($440). Two months later, I get a bill from Service Experts for $99 for the service visit. To make matters worse, it didn't come directly from them, but from a collection agency. I'm still waiting for this matter to be resolved, however I will never use them or any of their affiliates again. read more

My husband and I are first time homeowners and recently moved into our townhome a month ago when we noticed our AC wasn't cooling properly. So I searched online and decided to go with Peachtree Service Experts based on their reviews. They have come out to our property almost 10x in the past month, and we still don't have cool air!!! First time, they said our wiring on our motherboard wasn't wired correctly. Second time, they said there was too much Freon in our unit. The third time, two technicians and their supervisor came out and supposedly fixed our unit, but not even a week later, Freon was leaking out of our unit and froze on certain areas. It's been one thing after another!!!! They don't thoroughly inspect their work to make sure everything is working properly before leaving, and they've charged us almost every visit. Finally enough was enough, and I decided to get a second opinion with another company. Within 15 minutes of investigating, the new technician told us that our HVAC system had a recall on their coils and our model was affected but was covered under the warranty. So the only thing we would have to pay for is labor. How is it that over 4 different technicians visited our property multiple times over the past month, and not one of them knew this???? I don't know how this company got so many positive reviews on google, but definitely look up their reviews on Yelp. Only 2.5 stars out of 5. read more

It is the 4 day without air - I will let everyone know the outcome.....they say they are going to make it right. They have an opportunity to do so..... During my semi-annual service appointment, Tech diagnosed capacitor was below specification and suggested replacement. He quoted price of $140 which I paid. Being curious, I googled the part he installed and found it was available for less than $3. After complaining about price in survey, I received a call about situation. Caller stated corporate sets pricing for parts not local management or Tech. If you use their service, suggest you research pricing before having them replace any part. read more
