SCAM-BEWARE. Please read before you use them. This is for those who truly look at these reviews and base their decision to use the companies. I'm writing this for those who can't crawl under their house, know anything about plumbing, and want to TRUST these contractors. They attempted to use AI. Luckily, I was able to crawl under the house and was SHOCKED at what I saw. If you recently used Omar and Yony and Peacock Plumbing, I would contact the Company if you feel you over paid for unnecessary work or if this seems familiar. I originally called for water backing up into my bathtub when I ran the washing machine. Omar and Yony intentionally tried to scam me. Yony went under the house, as Omar ran a camera through my pipes. Omar said there were cracks at the bottom of the horizontal pipe leaking water, while Yony was yelling from under the house and said, "yeah, there are cracks in the pipe(s) and water leaking. Multiple cracks!" The discussion turned into replacing all the pipes under the home. There was much more back story that led to this. Long story short, I asked Yony to send me photos of the work that Carlos had done and he text, "we will send pics of before and after later." I asked for them at that time. 20 minutes later, Yony text me the AI photos. I asked if these were my pipes submerged under water with all the cracks and should I be using the toilet and water? He continued the lie and told me they were cracks on my pipe and they are leaking from all areas that connect to the horizontal pipe. Omar later continued on the thread with the lie. Again, there is much more back story. Conclusion, I crawled under my home. There were absolutely no cracks and no water at all. I took photos and videos. Dominic called and talked with me and said an operations manager would come and evaluate the situation and work with me. He said he would call his office and have me on the schedule within the next day or two to fix what I needed. I had to reach out to them 3 days later, and finally Alex reached out to me and said, "I was told that we need to get you on the schedule." I asked him what the plan was? They wanted to come out without evaluating and replace the plumbing at no cost. I asked him, "you aren't going to evaluate?" Alex said, "your pipes are old, we just want to mitigate this. It's no cost to you so let's just mitigate this." I took this as, we haven't learned anything, we just want you to go away. Cost or no cost...I could not trust them to come work under my home. I couldn't trust that they would do the work as if I just paid them $6k plus. At no cost, I imagine, it would have been, "let's put the newbies on the job, do the very least, use the cheapest material, and be done with this." read more

I called them on a Friday afternoon and they were able to come out the same day within a couple of hours, which we really appreciated. Communication was great both over the phone and through text, and the technician Yony did an outstanding job. He took the time to look over the situation, clearly explain what was going on with our plumbing, and walked me through step by step what he was going to do before fixing the issue. Peacock Plumbing - Plumbing Near Me - Torrance, California

They did stop my leaky toilet and were supposed to return to install a shutoff valve for my bidet toilet. That was in August. They allegedly ordered the parts and were to call me when they arrived. I expected that they would also replace the water shut off valve in my guest bathroom and seal the toilet as in my main bathroom. I have called and the technician I called has hung up on me several times. I have called the office and a supervisor was supposed to call me back more than once. Needless to say, I am still waiting to hear from them. read more

Terrible experience, I had a main sewer line clog up last night so I called them. They said (and confirmed with a text) that the technician would arrive between 12am and 2am. I stayed awake by the front door until 4am so I wouldn't fell asleep and miss them. I even called them again to ask what the eta was and the lady said he was on another job and coming right after. Total BS I think. They never showed up, never texted or called to say they were late/not coming. Just a 100% blowoff. Don't waste your time w these clowns, there are more professional/reliable companies to call. read more

t was just a garbage disposal that had clogged with rice. The ad said to check it for 75 plus whatever the repair cost, but they charged me 720 for almost half an hour of work, and all the problem was unclogging it. It was way too much, honestly. I was in shock. read more

If you are looking for a company who threatens customers with violence and retaliation, this is your company. They wanted to charge $350 to simply replace a broken shut off valve for a bathroom sink, a job that would easily take under 1 hour. I complained to the service guy (who was quite polite actually) and said I wasn't willing to pay such an inflated price, and that I felt I was being ripped off (especially since they wouldn't quote me over the phone and automatically charged $100 just to show up). He then called the office to see if they were willing to bring down the price. A guy from their office then called me right away and immediately started yelling at me because I had mentioned to the service guy that I would probably leave a negative review for such a scam. I couldn't even get a sentence out in response before he literally began to threaten me with physical violence. He said he was "going to personally come over to my place and kick the sh*t out of me, and stick his fist down my throat." He said he "knows where I live." He also said he knows a lot of people in the building I live in and he would have them make calls to management to complain about me. Lastly, he knows I have a small business because he heard my voicemail greeting, and that he would retaliate against my business and do everything he could to damage me. I called the sheriff, who came over and documented my complaint regarding his criminal threats of violence. So atleast everything is on record with the sheriff, just in case this violent individual ever attempts anything foolish. Unbelievably, this company doesn't have that bad of a rating for reviews. And now I know why, because he probably threatens anyone who leaves negative reviews. Be careful with this guy, definitely sounds unstable and possibly dangerous. read more

I have a barbecue in my back yard that has a gas line piped into it from the house. When I first bought the house the gas barbecue worked but for some unknown reason quit working. I had two plumbers come up to troubleshoot it and neither one was able to figure out why the line wasn't working. I called RF Plumbing and Dominic came up and found the line that was blocked and had it fixed in a couple hours. barbecue works great and we had steaks cooked to perfection last nite. I have lived in the South Bay for over 25 years and used several plumbers. RF Plumbing is by far THE BEST ONE! Nick was very professional, honest, understanding, kind, fair and knowledgeable. He could have charged me $350 for looking at the crawl space for pin leaks but told me that it was NOT necessary because the water meter did not indicate a leakage. What a breath of fresh air! We think that the leak is coming from the chimney and we'll wait another day or so to find out. Nonetheless, we shall be using RF Plumbing for our work and we will be a customer for life! We just used him for a backed up sewer line and after he presented the options we went with the hydro jet. The price was fair, and I'm glad we did. Dominic is my plumber FOR LIFE. He's knowledgeable, experienced, professional, friendly, clean, responsive, generous with his service, and reasonably priced. He came in to prepare my plumbing and gas lines for dishwasher, fridge, and washer/dryer installation, and then not only INSTALLED THEM, but TESTED THEM ALL for leaks. He even put in my fridge water filter, and flushed it so I didn't have to do it, ALL AT NO EXTRA CHARGE. He also has a lot of parts in his truck, so if there's a small extra thing you need, he usually has it, and doesn't have to make another appointment. That's been my experience both times I've hired him. He has a great system set up so the customer gets a text message confirming the appointment window, and then another text when he's actually en route. I love that I know when he's on his way. We couldn't of been happier or more impressed with the service of royal flush the plumbing. We called him up after haggling for almost a month with Home Depot about the warranty on our hot water heater. we finally allowed to choose our own plumber. we chose them. Within a few hours, they picked up the hot water heater. installed it, and brought the old hot water heater back to Home Depot, and ( this is the amazing thing) they even secured a refund for me saving me the trip to go back to Home Depot. talk about going beyond the call of duty - they certainly did! I noticed one day in my garage that there was water leaking. From under the pavement and making its way up to the top of the floor. I had no idea what to do or who to call. Being that it was so late in the evening time. After calling a few companies, I happen to come across Royal Flush plumbing. They were prompt to answer my call and help me out with a walk through. One Star. Dominic quoted $400 on an easy job right in my own home and scheduled for Wednesday. Wednesday came and went and at the end of the day he called with an excuse why a more important job came up and he couldn't call me or let me know what was going on. Fair enough but I waited all day for this service. Said he'd come by next couple days if it worked out but it didn't work out. He came on Saturday to do the job and I was all but ready to just call someone else. He came and did a nice job on the piping, I'm not knocking any of that but he bumped me to $550 at checkout to include "parts" consisting of the PVC piping and some glue. I paid it because I was happy to get it finished and too busy to even deal with it. Nevertheless for 2 hours work on a Saturday and I got bumped like that after the no-show I think 5 stars on this plumber is not accurate based on that service. read more
