I have driven by this winery many times and finally decided to stop and check it out. We didn't have time to do the whole wine tasting and chose a bottle. Becki helped us and picked a perfect wine for us to share . She was so cheerful and bubbly and we appreciate her enthusiasm. The atmosphere was relaxing and charming. I definitely will try them again.

A wonderful tasting experience at the winery. We retreated from our initial outdoor seating due to a gnat invasion, to a great indoor table. Hospitality was perfect. WHITES: Chenin Blanc and Chardonnay exhibit some nice balance with maybe a slight lean towards the fruity end of the spectrum REDS: Grenache seemed a bit oxidized (maybe a "yesterday " bottle), but I could see it's potential. The Syrah showed much better, with concentrated dark fruit and a lingering finish. Both the Tempranillo and the Nero D'Avola were worthy of attention and subsequent purchase. The Zinfandel was classic old-school Pao zin, with nice black pepper a foil for dark fruit If our cellar was a little more barren we'd join the club

Absolutely lovely place. The staff is super friendly and helpful a definite repeat on our next trip. Live music on Sat & Sun from 1 -4

This place is FANTASTIC! The wine is amazing and the views are phenomenal! I will be back here again for sure.

I came here with some friends, and I'd say it's a decent winery. The actual wines were pretty good, but nothing amazing. The property was really pretty, but a bit outdated. The service was on the slower side, but it was nice being able to walk around between tastings.

Pear Valley is a beautiful hidden estate located a bit off the 46. The estate is gorgeous and the Wine really delicious. The staff was really friendly and our Sommelier Micheal was very knowledgeable and nice. Our favorite Wine had to be the Dos Juntos Red and the Sauvignon Blanc. They give you 5 Wines to taste and wave the tasting fee if you buy a bottle just like everywhere else.Make sure and take time to walk around the estate and take in the beautiful scenery cause it's definitely picturesque.

We came on Thanksgiving weekend and this place was reservation only. We booked the reservation about a week in advance. We were seated right away. There was plenty of space between each table and all servers were wearing masks. The view was nice and the ambiance was very peaceful. I didn't really care for our server but she could have been overwhelmed by the tables she was serving. I would recommend this place to others for the environment. Our tasting fees went towards the bottles which is so nice.

Brought some out of town friends to this beautiful property for wine tasting. All the wines we tasted we're fabulous. Especially enjoyed the Chenin Blanc, Pinot Noir and Charbono. Was so impressed with their wines, I joined their Wine Club. I would definitely recommend anyone to stop here and taste their delicious wines and enjoy the Italian venue.

Decent wines, but nothing really stood out to us. We went to Penman before this winery and the wines there are sooo good. Felt bad. Simon was really nice though. He was knowledgable. Plenty of outdoor and indoor seating. Looks like you can probably bring your own snacks here to eat. Didn't notice any snacks you can purchase. We had 3:30pm reservations on a Thursday and it was pretty much empty except 1 table. You might want to come here first before going to Penman. The front with the trellis is nice to take a picture. I think it was $15 for 6 wines. Plus we got 2 extra tasting of tempranillo and cab franc.

I'll start this review by letting you know we're not big wine folks. Yeah, we drink wine, but like what we like and hadn't found much difference in $10 bottles to $100 bottles. Stopped here for ambiance to do tastings. $20 per person for six pours applied to a bottle purchase. Simon walked us through the generous pours. Ended up with three bottles and absconded with our glasses. Shhh... don't tell them! We'll definitely be back.

Absolutely gorgeous grounds! You get such a beautiful view of the vines being up on the hill. The winery itself is gorgeous as well and it gives a very relaxing vibe. My boyfriend and I did a tasting, so we got to pick six different wines offered on the menu. I was impressed with all of the wines I tasted, they all had great flavors. I ended up buying a bottle of the Tempranillo, Charbono, and the Nero D'Avola. The Nero D'Avola was my favorite! Had a great body to the Italian wine. I would love to come back here! I believe the guy helping us was named Daniel and he was amazing! He knew so much about the winery and was great at answering all the questions I had. Thanks so much!

I believe sometimes companies have off days, and employees may have a bad day, which can affect one's experience, thus I dont let one bad experience ruin a company's review. But when it comes to my CHILD, you best believe i will never forgive and forget or let our experience be forgotten. We visited this winery expecting a relaxing, family-friendly experience and instead left with our daughter crying after being scratched in the face near her eye by the owner's off-leash dog. What makes this especially frustrating is that the winery's own rules state dogs must be leashed, yet the owners' dogs were roaming the property freely. Our daughter was calmly petting one of the dogs with me standing directly beside her when the dog suddenly growled and scratched her across the face. This was completely unprovoked and witnessed by the owner himself, who said absolutely nothing afterward. No apology, no concern, no accountability. An employee later approached us and said, "Sorry, he's old and maybe didn't like that she was the same height as him, which made him react".....which felt less like accountability and more like an absurd attempt to excuse why a reactive dog was allowed to roam off leash around guests and children. We also observed the dogs behaving territorially toward other leashed dogs on the property, making it even more inappropriate that they were allowed off leash in a public setting. My father-in-law is a VERY well known, well respected, and prominent winemaker in Virginia and across the United States, if you know anything about wine, you know him. So lets say, we understand winery culture and hospitality, fairly well. Had something like this happened on his property, it would have been handled immediately and professionally with genuine concern for the injured guest.....especially a child. Watching the owner casually continue on in his conversation with whomever, and pet the dog like nothing happened while our daughter screamed and cried was honestly unbelievable. In my opinion, not worth the visit for the subpar wine, if you want to take your children/dog somewhere. The poodles were friendly to me, and other adults, until we saw their behavior to other dogs & then my child....The complete lack of concern from ownership after a child was injured was shocking. Frankly, they are fortunate we chose not to escalate the situation further. Parents should absolutely be cautious visiting here with children or pets. An off-leash dog with territorial behavior has no place interacting freely with guests. Absolutely shocked and the owner should be ashamed of his actions & response (or lack there of) to the situation.

The grounds are gorgeous, the sculptures throughout the property are genuinely impressive, and the music and scene were a great backdrop. The wine itself seemed perfectly decent. But the experience on the ground was bad enough that none of that mattered by the time we left. We didn't have a reservation, that's on us. But the website says reservations are recommended, not required, so we figured we'd try anyway. From the moment we walked in, it was clear we weren't wanted. The hostess hustled us into a side room, then walked off, at which point a server immediately told me -- not pleasantly -- that I was standing in the wrong place. When I asked about a few wines I was interested in, I was met with a clear lack of interest, capped off by being rudely told to just get a glass of muscat, like the suggestion was as much about getting rid of me as it was a recommendation. So that's what we did, and then we left. We tasted at several other wineries in Paso Robles that day and had wonderful experiences at every one of them. Staff who were warm, knowledgeable, and genuinely happy to have us, reservation or not. Sculpterra was the only stop where we walked away having spent next to nothing, and it's the only place on the entire trip we'll never go back to, no matter how nice the grounds are. Beautiful property, but the people working the floor that day made it clear they didn't want our business, so we obliged.
