Great experience all the way through from estimate (Brian) to completion of the work and final walk through (Tim). I solicited 3 bids for some furnace and a/c replacements and had a solid 5 star experience. Star 1, Promptness and Reliability : estimate appointment was right on time, efficient, thorough. Installers arrived exactly on time for the 2 days on the job. Work was completed ahead of schedule. Promptness is rare these days for any sort of contractor, and frankly awesome when we all have day jobs! Star 2, Reasonableness: Of the 3 estimates we received their price was the best; there were no unexpected surprises or unanticipated hidden expenses, no up selling or trying to sell unneeded accessories, etc. The final bill was exactly what was estimated. Star 3: Proficiency: these guys know this business and are professionals. Fast, efficient, careful, thorough. During the install it was one constant whirlwind of orchestrated activity with no one standing by idly. Star 4, Quality of Work: Install was beautifully done, tidy, carefully tested, new a/c concrete pad replacements were not slapdash, and much sturdier and better drained than the previous installation. Star 5, The Pearce Team: It is no exaggeration that all of the team members on the install seemed genuinely enthused about the work they were doing. They were all exceptionally polite, courteous, professional, and accommodating to our living and work at home arrangements, and Tim, the job lead was great, did a nice thorough walk through upon the job's completion. I love supporting a family oriented business and these guys are a first rate team. I would not hesitate in the slightest to recommend Pearce Heating and A/C. I needed to replace my air conditioner, and after getting three bids from reputable HVAC dealers, I chose Pearce Heating and A/C, Inc. I went by the guidelines offered by HVAC.com in what to look for in hiring the best HVAC company/technician because if they don't do the installation correctly, the equipment won't perform as expected. The owner, Brian Pearce, was so much more knowledgeable and thorough than the other salesmen. Unlike the others (one who gave me a bid after spending 15 minutes looking at my current equipment), Brian spent at least an hour explaining everything to my satisfaction. I knew this was the company I wanted to hire for all my HVAC needs from here on out. I decided to replace both my 18-year-old furnace and air conditioner at the same time. The lead installer Mike Anderson along with his tech Sebastian did an amazing job. Brian also explained how I could safely get more hot water from my water heater by installing mixing valves. After 22 years of filling my large tub in shifts waiting for more hot water, I can now fill it once and done. Our heat stopped working right in the middle of a cold winter week. We called around to four or five different local companies and compared prices. Pearce was not only the most reasonable option, but they were also the only company willing to come out on the same day! They were on time and did an amazing job getting our heat running again. They are working to get the part covered by warranty as well. Oh and I should mention the part was located down in Fife and they sent someone down there to pick it up to ensure we had heat as quickly as possible. No waiting required. Our furnace died when it was freezing outside. The first company we called got the heat back on, but found another issue with the heat exchanger. All the companies we called were very busy and couldn't send anyone out for days. Brian the owner had another errand to run in our neighborhood and offered to take a look for no charge. He confirmed the first companies issue and did a more thorough check and found a few other issues. They parts were all covered under warranty and we paid for the labor. I thought their labor charge was slightly higher than other companies but he was more detailed in his inspection. They sent a detailed work proposal for the work to be done and the price which was firm and exactly what was charged. The technician arrived on time was polite and answered some questions about when to start getting estimates even gave some suggestion on the installation. Our furnace was giving us problems in the winter. Called the authorized dealer of Carrier and was quoted $2000 for repairing a $4000 furnace! I called Pearce to give me a quote on a new furnace. Thankfully Claire from Pearce, came over, diagnosed the problem as a faulty inducer motor and fixed the problem for $350. Claire was quick, knew what was going on, was communicative and promptly fixed the issue. He also gave us a few tricks to get the furnace working till the new part came. A couple winters ago we decided to get our furnace checked, I forget why, and the number for Bel-Red was on the furnace so we called them to come out. They found some "cracks" and told us our furnace was endangering us and we needed a new one. They even told us to turn it off until they could replace it or have it "repaired" for half the price of a new furnace. This was all too much for me and it was cold so I found Pearce on yelp to get a second opinion. I told them what Bel-Red told us and they actually suggested having PSE come out and check the furnace. Apparently PSE does this FOR FREE. PSE said the furnace was perfectly fine and the air quality was also great. Apparently, companies like Bel-Red scare people into buying new furnaces and paying yearly maintenance fees. Anyway, I was so impressed with the honesty that I kept Pearce in mind for when we ever actually needed HVAC services. This year, I knew we'd need AC to get through the warm weather, since we'd be stuck at home. The sun heats our house up like an oven even when its barely 70 degrees outside. Pearce came out within a week and finished the job quicker than planned and the team did such a great job. They were polite, efficient, and even timed the job to not interfere with my husband's work. Seriously! Awesome, with honest bids and honest service!! I had gotten a bid from Bel Red Heating and they told me it would be $1500 to fix my furnance and that the part was special order. Bel Red told me it would make more sense to get a new furnance because it was 20 years old. This was a rental and I didnt have time to mess around because my renters needed heat and we were having a stormy weather 10/18/17. Bel Red hooked me up with a sales appt for Weds (I saw them on Monday). When I googled them to get their phone number I saw their yelp reviews which were only one star! and mentioned their scam of having to make repairs bids at a minimum of $1000?!!? I cancelled my sales appt - Found Pearce Heating with all 5 star reviews. Called them - they could come out the next day, fixed all items and had them on their truck for only $850!! Then he told me to replace my furnace would be really $4000 - not $2500 like Bel Red told me?!?!?! WTF! I am so glad I found Pearce Heating and AC, I am so glad for Yelp and ratings as they are TRUE! I forwarded both estimates to the Bel Red and showed them they were a scam and their Yelp reviews were true !?!?? They President tried to call me personally twice - but there is nothing he could say as this wasnt a one time mistake - Yelp showed this was their mode of operation ?!!? what idiots in this day and age of easier word of mouth. Pearce Heating installed an A/C in our house recently, and we are very satisfied with the experience. The guys worked efficiently, always came on time and cleaned up at the end of each day (they were working at my house for two full days). Brian, the owner, was very patient with all our questions and spent a lot of extra time over the weekend to help us figure out the problem we had with our ducts and return air, for free, even though that was not part of our contract on A/C installation. He also gave us a $500 discount, a new filter and installed a guard post in front of the furnace (city requirement) for free, which I think us rather generous. The price was the best offer we got in comparison with 5 other companies, and was very reasonable. Highly recommend! read more

THE BEST! Seriously! We are amazingly lucky to have turned to Brian and the Pearce team. We purchased a new furnace from one of the bigger local heating A/C company's and their service and installation was awful. They didn't set up the ducting correctly so the top floor was 10 degrees colder than the bottom floor in the winter and they wouldn't return phone calls or come back to fix the problem. Even when they finally returned (with us paying the service call) it didn't get resolved. In desperation we looked for a more reputable team and we FOUND THEM. Brian came out and fixed our entire ducting problem in a few hours and the cost was nominal. We were so happy we called Brian back and had them install an Air Conditioner and it's worked perfectly. This last week our less than 2 year old furnace started acting up. Brian's team came back out and spent hours troubleshooting everything and finally found a problem with the original installation by that OTHER COMPANY. The most amazing part is that Pearce didn't charge us for the service call and spent a number of frustrating hours trying to understand what the other company had done. You cannot find a more honest, hard working and dedicated team in Heating and A/C. We are lucky to have found them and I will never look anywhere else for Heating A/C ever again. read more

GREAT SERVICE. My 15 year old furnace stopped heating. I tried myself to clean the igniter and then installed a new thermostat myself with no luck. Called at 10am while at work but could not remember what brand furnace I had. Arrived home at 4PM (in Duvall) and texted the very polite and caring Allison in the office what the brand and a pic. One minute later she replied that she was checking with the tech and 3 minutes later I received a text saying he was on the way. Within 30 minutes he arrived and I explained what I did and knew. Within 2 minutes he diagnosed the problem and did the quick repair. Only the basic service call fee which was stated up front. I wrote my first review of Pearce Heating & Air Conditioning in March 2013 after their superb work with converting an electric to gas water heater. Naturally, I went back to Brian Pearce when we decided to install central air conditioning, but this time, I saw the multiple five-star reviews over the past five years that confirmed our assessment. While a substantial expansion of Brian's team has taken place, I can firmly say that they have maintained the same dedication and integrity. I appreciated once again a clear estimate and identification of issues that would affect the cooling of our two-story house. Clair noted that the lack of any air intake on the upper floor would affect the cooling on that level, but we all agreed to go ahead with the installation and hold off on additional ductwork. I appreciated this candidness at the start rather than after the unit is installed. I could not be happier with the quality of the installation completed by Brian's team. Their work was beautifully completed. My wife and I noted how well the team worked together and meticulously carried out their work. I appreciated the attention they took to carefully locating, sizing, and molding individual sections and equipment. The placement of the outdoor compressor unit was so masterfully placed and prepared. All the pipes and wiring are neatly arranged as though this was always a part of the house. When they finished, they left the areas cleaner than before they arrived. Just as Brian had so correctly advised about the hot water unit that he installed in 2013, he recommended this air conditioning unit as being more reliable with less-costly replacement parts.
