Small sign in their window saying

Well I'm not sure how their vacuum service rates as I can't seem to get in touch with this business. Nobody answers the phone! So I drove down to check during their OPEN hours and they are closed til 1/14/25. Well on the plus side, I see a small sign on their window saying they no longer service Dyson vacuums as of Jan 2022! Maybe they should update their business information to include that important note?!

I haven't realized till now that we have been coming here for decades. We used to deal with the previous owner and now we doing business with the present owner Ken. They always do an excellent job and will be honest with you when answering questions. Ken's knowledge of your item for repair will surprise you and then make you trust him with your repair. This is a neighborhood gem that I will continue to visit without looking for other options.

We also purchased a garage vac. Powerful suction and easy to use.

I dropped off my vacuum and it was finished the next day. The man was very polite, honest and fair. I'm definitely going here again.

Our fridge had these intermittent rattling sounds that appeared to be more frequent as the week…read morewent on. I used the Yelp app to request a quote from the company since there were a lot of positive reviews. The company responded super quickly, despite it being on a Saturday morning and even offered to take a look at the fridge that day. We weren't able to have them come on that day and they offered to come on Sunday. Amazing. Sergey called before coming and came super promptly to our house. (At 8:10 a.m - was given the window between 8-11 am). He first diagnosed our random rattling sound as our ice maker (which has been frozen over for years). He proceeded to chip away at our ice and turned it off since we weren't using it anyway. I thought that was it and felt a little worried since I had doubts the cause of the rattling was solely due to the ice maker, but he then asked how long the rattling was happening (about a week) and then pulled the fridge out to check the back. He said it was our compressor and although the fridge would rattle, he said it would be about $1500 to change the part. Said it wouldn't affect the efficacy of the fridge so we opted to just live with the rattle. Charged only the $89 diagnostic price. I expected more since he had cleared away our frozen ice, but he didn't charge us for that. The entire visit took about 30 minutes and while he wasn't the warmest or friendliest person, he was professional and thorough. Would call this business again if we had problems with any of our appliances.

Reached out and got an immediate reply that they could come the very next day to fix a countertop…read moreoven. Very very responsive. The cost was $89 for the visit... they are mobile and do not have a shop, so they will come to your home, which is super convenient. Highly recommended.

This was sitting in my drafts for a while, like for only 2 years and some, cause I've been so ADHD…read more Our sucky a$$ Maytag Bravos XL top-load washer failed (unresponsive control panel) and I was hand washing clothes for days. I got tired, literally, and desperately cried for help but my husband was like,"Nah, do your work you so called homemaker. The clothes aren't gonna wash themselves." JK. He never said that and I never asked for help. I did some reflection and thought about how this is normal for some of our family in the P.I. In that moment, I felt grateful to even have owned a washing machine. I hand wash my delicates, but that's an occasional thing and this handwashing method for a volleyball team household size was becoming a thing. Not having a functioning washer taught me that I'm not cut out for third world country life. I really needed our washing machine to be replaced pronto. I've always loved the top loaders that had an agitator. It cleans so much better than the BS HE washers without 'em. I absolutely did not want another Maytag unless it was the 575, which has recently been discontinued and replaced with model MVWP585/MVWP586. I knew of Speed Queen because I've seen them before. I did research and my heart was set on getting one. I called another company that supposedly carries them to be told that they'd sell to me only if I had a laundromat (*fingers crossed* maybe in the future). Newtown was second on the list so I contacted them. It took many attempts to reach someone as their line was busy. When I finally got through, I spoke to Mabel. She told me they had ONE LEFT and it was the model I wanted (TC5). I asked if she could hold it for me, pulled out cash (I initially asked if I could write a check or pay w/a CC) and headed there in heavy westbound traffic to pay for it. Didn't bother with browsing the showroom, but it seemed like they had a good selection. Before collecting payment, Mabel showed me the Speed Queen and briefly went over the important stuff + gave me some tips. I don't have much to say about the delivery part besides that Carl did come within the specified time window. He was only able to drop it off downstairs. My husband and I carried it up ourselves. Carl did mention that he could've hauled our old one away but it wasn't ready. If I knew, I would've prepared it for him. From my understanding, they were no longer interested in carrying Speed Queen because the demand wasn't high while the shipping fees were. However, it sounded like they'd be willing to order it for you. It would cost ~ $2k If you want a Speed Queen, give them a call. Things may have changed since. 2 years with mine and I'm still happy as ever! Anyway, so glad to have had the privilege of working with this local, family-owned business.

At the end of 15 minutes after diagnosis- paid his bill of $194.20. I was appalled and questioned the bill but paid it anyway as I thought it would be a credit of some sort when technician would do a call back of service. No call back with quote. Next call back was I have your part 7 days later with a bill that would cost us $611.70. I immediately cancelled his service and told him not to come to our home. I can buy a brand new washer for that cost! Be aware of businesses that Rip Off local clients. This is shameful with no integrity!
