Brought my dog here for a neuter surgery. I heard about this place from a friend and decided to e-mail them right away to inquire. Response time was quick and transparent. I was given an estimate and was asked to let them know when/if I wanted to schedule. Dropped my dog off at around 8:30am and picked him up at 2pm. Procedure was fast and the staff kindly texted me updates regarding the surgery! They were extremely friendly and helpful. I felt like I was educated properly and left feeling like I had everything I needed to aid my dog in recovery. I was also given 5 days of pain medication for my dog who took it well. My dog is now 2+ weeks post-op and we had our semi-annual visit with our vet who said the incision is fully healed and looks good! I highly recommend Pearl's Veterinary Surgery.

Absolutely the best place to visit! Located near the airport, we were warmly greeted upon entering the clinic and escorted in to the exam room almost immediately. Dr Kasey came in and introduced himself and so did my dog . I am pretty amazed that throughout the life of my dog, this is "the only" clinic whose vet could give me some kind of medical knowledge of what the bumps/mass is on my dog. And explained all my options. This clinic does only surgery and dental too, and prices are affordable. The clinic is clean and spacious and all my questions were answered by the vet and we shall return to have the surgery done. Thank you Pearls Veterinary Surgery for your excellent service!

This was my second time coming to this veterinary surgery clinic. First time was for my cat's neuter and now for my dog's. My dog had an undescended testicle, so it wasn't a typical neuter, but the doctor and staff handled everything so well. Everyone was super kind, easy to talk to, and very informative. I let them know my dog doesn't do well with other dogs, and they were nice enough to let my husband and I wait in their break room until it was time for my dog's surgery, which I really appreciated. Overall, such a great experience. We felt comfortable, supported, and confident leaving our pet in their care. Highly recommend!

Took my two female bunnies to get spayed and had a great experience at Pearl's Veterinary. It was easy to make an appointment, fill oit forms before your appointment, Jenny and staff were thorough, experienced, and friendly. Cost was also reasonable which included the meds, check up, and chip.

Nothing short of amazing service and of course care! We were desperate to have three kittens payed and neutered but different vets quoted between $500-1000 for each kitten!! No way we could swing that. These were kuttens who were dumped on our property. We already have our own cats and didn't want more, but we also didn't want them having even more kittens for us, either. Enter Pearl's! What a lifesaver they were for us!! Clean, courteous, kind, attentive. We could not have asked for a better outcome. $150 per kitten. Microchip included. Excellent customer service!! I cannot say enough good things about them. Mahalo, Pearl's Team!!

Pearl's=Aloha. Beautiful and loving souls that are a blessing to our community. Owned and operated by Dr. Kasey Carter and his sweetheart of a wife Jenny. They and Dr. Nicole Fernandez, and the entire Team, truly care, they go above and beyond, they prioritize compassion and affordable care over trying to extract maximum profit and provide care that is worth far more then they charge. They provide exceptional service. Dr. Nicole is a lovely lady and an excellent surgeon and she took the time to talk with me, show me around the facility and show me the x-rays, which no other vet has done for me. This is what true compassionate care is. This place is full of love and they embody the aloha spirit. I am so grateful for the love and care provided for my beloved little dog.

Everything you could want when your loved pet needs surgery. Affordable! Caring! Out of this world service! Experienced surgeon! Dr.kasey and his wife jennny are absolutely the best option when your loved doggo or feline needs surgery. My dear pug, puggles had a mass cell tumor on her arm and lump on her mammary. Another doctor recommended removing puggles whole right arm. Dr kasey offered saving it. Trust me! My doggo is very happy having four arms. I am glad i changed my mind last minute. The surgery was quick and well performed, no issues. Jenny texted me during the procedure before and after. I was relieved to know it went well. I definitely recommend trusting Pearls Vetinarian Surgery.

Such an Awesome Veterinarian Staff! Everyone is so welcoming and kind. Took my dog for a foreign body surgery and they were so helpful! I was calling all over and they were the most affordable and so quick to respond with details/information. I am so grateful for their timely response and their communication with me during my dog's surgery. Affordable, Welcoming, Awesome Communication, Amazing Staff! I highly recommend this place for your pets!

Dr. Nakamura was excellent and provided ample time to discuss Demi's overall health, especially in light of her advanced age. We do appreciate this veterinarian practice and their aloha and care. This time, they had added a very cute and appealing feature in the lobby (see pic), listing all the animals expected to be seen that day - it was very cool!! We would unconditionally recommend this practice! Thank you!

The woman working at the front desk was extremely rude and unwelcoming. Thankfully, another staff member stepped in and said they would still see my puppy, even though I had accidentally forgotten the paperwork from when I got her. Once we were in the exam room, the experience continued to be disappointing. The veterinary assistant would not give my puppy back to me and spent the entire appointment holding and playing with her. She stood between my boyfriend and the vet, making it difficult for him to see the exam or communicate with the doctor. It felt inappropriate and uncomfortable, especially during my puppy's first visit when I was trying to understand her health and care. The biggest concern, however, was the reason I brought her in. Since we got her, she has had a very itchy ear. I brought this up to the vet, but I was told it was just a little dirt and that she was fine. After leaving, I felt uneasy and did not feel confident that my puppy received the thorough care she needed. I decided to take her to Manoa Vet, where they immediately took an ear sample and discovered she had a yeast infection. Thankfully, they caught it before it became worse and we are now treating it. I am extremely disappointed that this concern was dismissed so quickly, especially in a 3-month-old puppy who is fully indoors. A proper test should have been done instead of an assumption being made. Veterinary care requires patience, compassion, and attention to detail. This is Hawai'i, where we value aloha and treat our families--including our furry family members, with love and respect. Unfortunately, I did not feel that care here. Nor did I feel the Aloha! I will not be returning and have found the level of care and compassion I was looking for at Manoa Vet.

She also helped me find alternative finance options. Which I love. I just had a baby and having my dog have a tooth accident that required a trip to the emergency on top of a visit to Dr. Hsu was not in the cards.. BUT my fur baby is just as loved and he means just as much so vet app it is. 2. Dr. Hsu.. you can totally feel and hear the knowledge he gives out. He won't sugar coat the seriousness but also somehow still keep things light.. not to mention the after hours Dr. line STILL is a thing. I honestly am so appreciative of Dr. Hsu and his ability to make sense of what I'm worried about. As an over thinker, he helps rationalize. He even considers what you have going on in life.. he doesn't shove down a vaccine just to collect payment. I am so thankful for his care. He genuinely is the best and most will be missed by us when we move but our dog will ALWAYS go here upon ever returning. I will ALWAYS recommend.

When our rabbit has needed emergency dental care, he has gone out of his way to fit her into his schedule and bring her into surgery. We appreciate how prompt and thoughtful he is with follow-up calls after surgery. He gives an approximate time of calling and calls within 20 minutes which I know is difficult with the jam packed schedule. It is great to have an idea of when I will receive word of how my rabbit is doing. Knowing our rabbit is in Dr. Ganzer's care gives us peace of mind, and we are so grateful to have him as our veterinarian. As someone who works in the medical field myself, I fully understand how schedules run, how delays affect the flow of the day, and why offices have late-arrival policies in place. At the same time, I also understand that good front-office support requires judgment, discretion, and a willingness to help when a situation is still workable. I arrived approximately 11 minutes after my scheduled appointment and had called the office twice in advance to let the team know I was running behind. This was a straightforward consultation regarding flea treatment for my dog - a brief visit that likely would have taken less than 15 minutes and I had already communicated the reason for the appointment and not to mention no other patients in the waiting room. Policies are important, but so is the way they are carried out. In this case, the interaction felt unnecessarily rigid and lacking in compassion. I left with the impression that the front office could have helped, but simply chose not to. Unfortunately, that experience did not reflect the level of professionalism, empathy, or reciprocity I expect in a medical setting and for that reason I will be seeking veterinary care elsewhere.
