Mobile Veterinary Service. Thank you so much Dr. K for your Excellent Service, always!
    Mariel U.

Thank you for helping my dad with his cat. Your service is very convenient especially for seniors. I really appreciate your service and getting us in your schedule on a short notice. Dr. K is amazing and definitely cares about her clients.

Dr. K is so absolutely amazing. She helped our Kai dog cross the rainbow bridge which was an extremely difficult time for us, but she was so patient, understanding, & full of compassion which helped ease our pain. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts. If we should bring another pup into our lives - she will definitely be our Vet !

Dr. K helped us send our Shadow to cross over the rainbow. She was kind and patient and explained what to expect before and after. Highly recommend her with any of your pets needs.

If there were more than 5 stars to rate Dr. K's service I would. She was so patient, gentle and compassionate in helping us get our Lab Molly to the Rainbow Bridge. Molly left us peacefully, without pain and in her familiar environment with those that loved her and whom she loved. Dr. K helped to ease our pain in what was a very sad occasion. She was very responsive to my questions, patiently explained the process and what to expect. Everything went much better than expected and I couldn't thank her enough. I highly recommend her services and should we get another fur baby, she would definitely be our vet.

    Fur baby!

All I can say is that I love love love this vet! She is amazing! I'm so happy that I found her! She is so good with my little fur babies. She actually cared for them like she would her own pets. She is not trying to over charge or over treat at all. Her suggestions and treatments were all given with my pets best care in mind. She actually suggested against some treatments for my senior dog (20 year old) because she didn't think they would be helpful or needed. She truly treated them with care and compassion. Unfortunately my experience with other vets here has been completely opposite to this. They have over charged, suggesting treatments and tests that my dogs did not need, and treated for profit not compassion. I would 100 percent recommend this vet for all of your pets needs. It is also amazing to have a home visit. Especially for my senior dog! She is almost blind and has a bunch of health issues. Needless to say going into a vet is way more stressful on her. My dogs were both so relaxed and at ease during the examination from Aloha nui. She's awesom

Best care ! So professional and my only regret is not finding her when we moved here 4 years ago! We did her mobile dental cleaning and it was seem less and my dog was so much less stressed thanks so much !!

We made the decision that it was time to say goodbye to our beloved Rex Dr. K came out to our house in Ewa. She is very caring, polite, and professional . Dr. K gave us all the time needed for our final goodbyes. This was a very difficult time for me as Rex was my working dog partner for 3+ years and a he retired I brought him home to be spoiled and loved

    Denise A.

I'm blessed to have found such a wonderful caring veterinarian. The icing on the cake is that we get to have our services literally right in our own backyard. I highly recommend Dr. K who does a complete exam and provide you with medication on the spot rather than having to go to get a prescription filled.

It was months after the first contact with them that we had to let him go. They followed up in the meantime asking if we needed anything, offering support and literature to help us with our decision and timing of it. We had more than enough time to say our goodbyes, she asked us about Otis and his story of how we got him. Dr. Naum was so gentle and kind with him and us and gave us plenty of time with him after. We were out of town for a few weeks after, had his remains returned promptly to us after we returned. A very lovely sympathy note just arrived a few days ago. The paw print was beautiful and they included a clipping of his fur. It made the terrible decision to let him go a little more bearable. Highly suggest their services. Could take care of payment earlier on day of the appointment and that was super helpful.

I heard about Arms of Aloha in passing as others recommended them on various Facebook dog groups that I'm a part of. When my dog was diagnosed with cancer, one thing that popped into my mind was that, if possible, I'd like to let her cross over at home, where she was more comfortable. This thought was even stronger after having visited the vet so many times in the last weeks of her life. I had read up on the literature available on the Arm's of Aloha website (where you can also get an estimate) as well as preregistered. You can also look at their appointments available. They advise on making an appointment at least 1-2 days in advance, especially on the weekends. The hard part is knowing ahead what day that will be. My dog took a turn for the worst one day and I went back and forth on scheduling the only/last appointment available for the next day (appts can be seen/booked online). No one wants to make that call (decision), but it's also painful to watch your beloved friend suffer. They do have a thorough cancellation policy you can read online and I decided I'd book the last appointment to secure it and I could always cancel/reschedule more than 8 hours out. In the confirmation email, there is a link to a video to watch of the Doctor describing the process so you're familiar - I'd recommend this if it is your first time through this. I guess because it was already the next day, they called me shortly after to confirm my appointment. I could barely get the words out the confirm but I never felt judged by the person on the phone. The morning of the appointment, I received an invoice in my email. They suggest taking care of it ahead of time as doing it in the moment with so many emotion is harder. I appreciated this detail and was able to get it out of the way. At our scheduled appointment time, Dr. Naun came to our house. She has a calm and peaceful energy to her. She had some further paperwork for me to sign then we started the process. It was peaceful, and of course sad, but Dr. Naun brought comfort to the situation and we're so grateful for a service like this. We chose to have our dog's ashes returned to us and about a week later, we received a beautiful urn and our paw prints. With the service, they have a chaplain who you may access to talk to if you need help. I did not use it but they do also offer at home palliative care.

Unfortunately they discovered she had a fatal cancerous tumor that was far too advanced to do anything about. Despite having her since 2017, we lost her. I love that he didn't minimize my loss because it wasn't a big dog or some traditional animal, this was our family Mynah Bird. She was the very first bird I ever rehabbed when I started volunteering for the Wild Bird Rehab Haven, which she became our pet after being unreleasable. She sang Harry Potter, jingle bells, twinkle twinkle little star, and even talked a little. She'd say her name, hello, good night, a few other phrases/words, and even copied things in our house such as the espresso machine. Should loved shredded cheese and papaya, but only if she was hand fed. I love that they didn't minimize my hurt and loss and understood that she was just as important as a golden retriever is to someone else's family. Thank you for doing everything you could to save her considering I just walked in on emergency basis. I know there's nothing more that could be done and I don't question any possibilities. Thank you.

She would be out of sight being under furniture most of the time, because of this we named her "Hidey", a play on the name Heidi. Over the past couple of years she was slowly getting weaker, and I knew since she was 17, she was on the downhill slope of life. When it finally came time in December of this year, I sadly made the arrangements with Kakaako Pet Hospital. I chose to have her cremated with her ashes reutrned to me and the staff at KPH patiently went through what they'd be doing and what exactly to expect with a time frame. My appointment to have her put down was the following morning but my kitty went that night instead. Heartbreaking but that made me feel better that she was able to spend her last moments at home. I took her the next morning (Tuesday) to drop her off at KPH and was able to pick her up on Friday. Her ashes actually was ready the following day but a couple of things KPH does is get a plaster paw print of your pet and a clipping of fur if you choose to so the waiting was for the paw print to fully harden. All of this from the explaining of the total process and arranging with crematorium to doing something special like the paw print and fur clipping really made a big difference for me with comfortably being able to let go. Hidey is now home and she will always live on in my memories. Thank you Kakaako Pet Hospital.

After an annual health check up appointment of $250+ dollars, this clinic will not give pet owners a prescription to fill medications at a pharmacy of the pet owners choice, ie Costco, which can provide excellent savings on flea and heart worm medications. These medications are expensive at baseline. 2. This clinic forces their customers to order their pet's med from their online system that they sourced from the mainland. These meds are over $400+ for a 12 months supply. They cost a lot more than Costco. In addition, instead of providing free shipping for Hawaii customers spending so much money already for their pet's medications, they charge customers another $9.95 for shipping on every order. This is after spending $650 already at this clinic ($250+ annual check up appt fee + $400+ medications). I suggest they offer free shipping for orders over $100 or more or any order that are picked up at their clinic. I spoke to their staff about this but was told that it's EASIER FOR THEM for customers to get their pet's medications in their mail. They fail to mention that this is done BY PASSING THE COST TO THEIR CUSTOMERS - TO PAY MORE! I highly recommend this clinic provide complimentary shipping on their pet prescriptions for anything over $100 and not make their customers pay more!

Multiple vets told us to let her deliver naturally and only come in if there was a problem. That didn't sit right with me. Before anyone gets a Frenchie or English Bulldog, you're warned that cesarean is something to be expected. I booked a visit with Dr. Bak for another opinion, and I'm so glad I did. She explained that French Bulldogs (and English Bulldogs) often struggle with natural delivery and only have about a 20% success rate. That was all I needed to hear. Who bets on 20% odds? No thanks. We scheduled a C-section for the following Monday. But nature had other plans. After a long night of restlessness, nesting, and panting, I called Gentle Vets first thing in the morning. Dr. Bak told me to bring her in immediately. Upon examination, she confirmed one of the puppies was stuck in the birth canal and had no heartbeat. They rushed her into surgery without hesitation. Not only did they act quickly--they went above and beyond. What we thought was a litter of 6 turned out to be 9 puppies! It was truly all hands on deck. They even called Lexi in from home to assist.
