I wrote a negative review for Pearl Vision a couple of years ago and did not plan on returning. Thursday 12.5.19, I decided to try again. I attempted to order contacts. They were biofinity multifolcal's, I wasn't sure what the price was and provided my insurance. The rep told me for a box of contacts it would be $97 even with insurance. I went to LensCrafters and with insurance they were free. Either Pearl was forcing me to buy an extra box or they weren't going to use my insurance at all. I found it very receptive, clean and well managed! There for an eye exam and was treated very well by staff and Dr Motola! Very professional went through all the necessary testing and answered new questions about improved technology! Only disappointment was that me being a 100% service connected Veteran they didn't offer free glasses with my visit, just the prescription for them. I brought my mom here to get an eye exam. She was in need of prescription glasses. They were extremely amazing. Kind, Polite, Sincere... so many words of the like can describe the people who work here. They are truly role models for a great clinic. I honestly thought we were just going to be treated like the last bits of crumbs to be swept under the rug because my mom is on medicaid. But they treated us as if we were paying in gold. Yes this place is busy...it is a busy and very populated side of town. If that is what causes someone to give a bad review, that is sad. I like this place a lot. I moved from the Nellis area and I still drive out that way for our checkups. My kids feel comfy there, so I never thought to find another clinic. My last two visits were with Dr Suh. She expressed an interest in my eye condition than no doctor has in the last 30 years. I had an emotional appointment...in a good way. If you are looking for eye care professionals who make their patients needs a priority then please look somewhere else. After being charged extra charges beyond what we were initially told, we were patient and accepted the charges because of the promise for a speedy delivery on the lenses since we would be leaving the country soon. Well it seems that this was also a mistake since they waited two weeks to even put the order in for my wife's replacement lenses. Now we will embarking on our honeymoon without an updated set of contact lenses thanks to their terrible customer service and lies about speedy delivery. After we receive my wife's overpriced lenses we will be taking our business somewhere else, please take my advice and seek eyecare needs elsewhere. I would give 0 stars if I could. read more

I booked an appointment months in advance for my children and husband only to find out they booked with doctors that don't accept my insurance... How does that even happen?! I enter the insurance info to schedule the appointment! So they explain that they accept VSP but I wasn't scheduled for the doctor that accepts VSP. This was somehow not their fault, and I could still come to the appointment if I wanted to pay out of pocket.?! Needless to say I went back to my original doc Merkin. Terrible staff completely disrespectful.. denied me service because I'm 17 and I couldn't come in with a "guardian" I showed them how by state law I do not need anyone with me since I am emancipated and they continued to tell me its not their problem. Not a lot of frames to choose from, however the service and staff are great! Visited Pearle Vision for the first time just three weeks ago. My eyes have been giving me a hard time and I finally had enough. The check-in process was simple and straight forward. The Doctor answered all of my questions and the exam seemed thorough. While the selection of frames appears to be a bit limited (or maybe not?) it is more than made up for in service. Nicole and Marissa in particular have helped me address some minor hiccups with my purchase. They've gone above and beyond. It is truly appreciated. Thank you! read more

I bought a Groupon to have my eyes checked and to get a "credit" on my next frame choice. The office receptionist was rude upon my arrival, but the doctor was very nice. Other tests were suggested (for more money, of course). My so-called "credit" didn't help much. Close to $400 later, I was told I would receive a text when the glasses were ready. On the 8th day after my appointment, I called and called the MAIN number and no one ever picked up. I stopped in the following day to ASK for my glasses. The nice lady who helped me found my glasses waiting in the bin, she could not tell me how long they had been ready, or why I was not contacted. REALLY?? read more

Do not go here! I went to the Sunset and Nellis locations, they changed my glasses prescription 3 different times and still couldn't get it right. The glasses kept making me feel dizzy and gave me headaches. Went to a different doctor on the east side of Vegas, he got it right on the first try, haven't had any problems with this prescription. The doctors are nice but it seems they don't have enough experience or their equipment needs to be calibrated. read more

Yadira was so sweet!! I had a problem at the Sunset location, the employee kept insisting I should keep my glasses even though I had every intention to return them. I went here to the Nellis location and she immediately helped me out w/o any questions & insisting to keep them! Very busy location so if they get behind the wait can get long. Book your appointment before lunch to get in and out faster. Took my daughter there recently, we were done from exam to measured for glasses and out the door within 30 minutes. Decent selection on glasses. We always manage to find frames we love. Went to get an eye exam for my son. The staff was very professional in the clinic part. Then I went to the other side to look at the glasses. They were nice to me but I felt like the manager thought I was going to steal something. She keep asking the sales girl that was helping me to give her the glasses I was looking at to count them. I understand there r a lot of people who steal. She was only focused on us, keep in mind there were more customers. I mean I get it, that's her job! I ended up purchasing 2 pair of brand named glasses for $300. Since they didn't have them in stock I had to wait 2 weeks to get them. Overall their service was good! read more

I had a wonderful experience last time with myself, unfortunately today on 7/29/19 was a complete disappointment. This location has no regards for your time. I made my mom an appointment over a month ago for her check. Show up to her appointment today and they said they didn't take her insurance and that they called my cellphone number on 7/25/19 "Which they didn't." Even if it was true that they called wouldn't you think it would be the decent thing to do to call at least more then once to cancel this appointment? In the past I have been to LensCrafters and Walmart for my contact prescriptions, but my new provider made it necessary for me change companies. Pearl Vision was a complete disappointment. I was hustled the moment I walked in, to buy things I did not need. I was forced by the Dr. into taking contacts because of the price, where other doctors let me choose. Worst customer service ever . I've been going here for 4 years now for my glasses but this is the last time I come here. Staff is extremely rude they got my glass lenses wrong. They told me it would me another wait time . For 3 more days I called after 3 days and they still aren't ready . Yeah time to find a new place to purchase my glasses every year. Had a pretty good experience here. The first two times I have purchased glasses here, I was not disappointed. After that I decided to experiment with Lens Crafters which was more pricey but you instantly got glasses, and then a few smaller businesses. Decided to come back here this year after a three year exploration and glad I did because I can honestly say I enjoy the service and selection of frames here more than anywhere else. Surprisingly now, glasses can be ready the same day which was not the case four or five years ago. The staff was helpful. Dr.Suh was a great optometrist and even the assistant was great. The salesperson, Monique (I believe), really understood my style and wants for my new glasses, but also gave me the freedom to look at frames on my own, all the while having the perfect amount of attentiveness. I went to there office got my eye exam got my glasses picked out and about 5 days later I picked them up, I went to NY to see a Friend and while I was there I only had the glasses 4 months and the Left arm broke off so I went to a Pearl Vision in Rochester NY, I walk in and they look at them and the lady tells me there, well we are a franchise store and we do not have access to your records so she takes the glasses puts a cheap glue and a clear tube and hot shrinks it around it and it held for a while then I came back home took them to the store where I got them and the dumb ass Asian employee looked it up and told me that I was not covered and they wanted me to pay out of pocket $ 103.95 which I do not have I am disabled and can not work so I walk out and I call there main office and the lady there just blew me off......what a waste to the cust. they are. now I have a pair of eye glassed with a missing arm and they wont even help me ?? DONT USE PEARL VISION THEY WILL RIP YOU OFF AND WONT HONOR THERE REPLACEMENT......JERKS I will go back to EYE MASTERS at least there they take better care of there cust than that stupid company., read more

Stay away, far away! This organization (and I use that term loosely) is a nightmare. The right hand has absolutely no idea what the left hand is doing. You make an appointment and then get six text messages telling you to schedule and appointment because you are overdue. You provide your insurance information more than once, then get a text saying you have no insurance. Don't even get me started about the actual personnel. The receptionist (who claims to be a supervisor) takes your insurance card and makes a copy, then a minute later tells you they have no insurance information so they are going to charge you! The supposed operations manager asks questions without listening to the answers, and then asks the same question again. This entire place is a JOKE and I would be afraid for them to exam my eyes!!!! read more

I love this place! I wish they had more frames to choose from that are covered by my insurance, but I was able to find ones that look great. Love everyone that works there. They are all very friendly. Of course they offer all kinds of lenses and options for you to choose from but are not pushy at all. My walk in had a little wait but like earnest said it will be quick a 40 min wait but I got exactly what was needed and they treated me quick ! I give it 3 stars this visit because the optometrist and nurse were very professional. However , when the time for choosing frames , looking at insurance , getting fitted came it was not good at all. My daughter is very specific and wanted to stick with the same frames (frames I bought here sep 2014) . The person assisting us never smiled, it almost seemed as she was annoyed and wanted to get it over with as soon as I told her we are sticking with the same frames . When I went to get my daughters lenses cut I thought the experience was going to change. One of the ladies greeted us with a sincere warm smile and told us to come back in 45 min. So we did , we came back and she said "ok so what can I do for you ?" I said "oh we came back like you told us too ,about 45 min ago , to pick up my daughters glasses . She then did a 180 on me . Maybe she was offended, but no more smiles, and a bit rude. I noticed that as soon as she said, " well you need to let's know , I see so many people a day I don't remember ." Clearly then I felt unimportant . When she came back with my daughters glasses she placed them on her, not the right way as one of the ear lobes was under the frame , and said your all set . She realized my daughters (10year old) wasn't happy , so she did ask her a few questions . At this point I'm up and ready to leave because I was told we were all set. I said she was fine because I didn't want her to touch her glasses again, I felt that since I didn't recently purchase them, and they were already once under the heat, once under the heat again they could "accidentally" break them . That's how they made me feel anyway . If I do come back it would be mainly because I like the optometrist service, but I will definitely refuse their service if it's nasty again. read more
