So I am picking up my new glasses today! I am excited. But more than excited I am totally impressed with this Pearle Vision office in Oakbrook. The one right off of Roosevelt. From the moment I came in here five days ago to get signed up for exam and glasses I was taken back with the friendly approach the staff exemplifies. With no appointment they manage to take me in that very day. And when I entered the room.. Smiles across the board welcomed every single person that entered that office. But it wasn't the smiles that impressed me. Anyone can smile. It was the journey that followed. Just when I thought that the service would be adequate, quick, and Bland( honestly, how exciting could being at the eye doctor possibly be?) . Boy was I wrong. The staff was so professional. And they exude advocacy and information. I learn something new about me and my eyes. Josephine exemplified Stellar service in picking out the perfect glasses that fit my head as well as my lifestyle. She also told me about how the prescription must be adjusted to how my eyes are shaped and centered. It wasn't just about giving me the perfect frame it was about providing for my wants and needs in lens wear. My journey continue to Stacy who performed preliminary exams. Friendly quick and professional. And of course dr. Henne showed her awesomeness and her art as she performed magic with her tools and her friendly professional demeanor. I feel so bad for the people that have written bad reviews of this place. I don't feel the same. I asked a lot of questions about methods and pricing. So I was never taken advantage of. And there were no surprise fees. I also exemplify patience and it's always reciprocated. I always go into any place assuming that they are not perfect because I know for sure I am not perfect either. But I must say... In this case... They were awesome! And with my new glasses I am awesome too. LOL This was all concluded with much information and advocacy for Eye Care given to me by the complete staff. Each station I visited in that office was a plethora of information for me to have. Their strength in advocacy Reigns Supreme.! You may think that I'm typing way too much for a simple eye doctor visit. And if that's the case then I must say I am guilty oh. But I don't think these are enough words to express how important this visit was and how memorable my eye visit seemed to be. I had the most wonderful experience at the Pearle Vision location in Oakbrook Terrace. They were ablr to take me as a walk in and conduct my eye exam. Dr Roache was awesome. She made the whole experience painless and easy! After my eye exam it was now time to pick out my new glasses. Roy was of great assistance to me and was very patient with me going through several different styles. Roy after listening to what my needs and concerns were found the perfect frames for me! I was very pleased with his help. Now to my surprise and delight I was told by Roy that my glasses would be ready to be picked up the same day! I was shocked that this was even a possibility. Gledia and Julia also assisted with getting me the proper eye glass cleaner solution and were very helpful in other areas. My experience at this location was great. The first time I came to this store was about a year and half ago. The quality of the frame, lenses, and above all the service was so good that Pearle Vision became the store of my choice for all my optometry needs. Since then I have visited a few other Pearle Vision stores; they all were good. But, this particular store is exceptional! Today I visited this store because the frame I had bought had accidently got damaged, but the lenses were in perfect shape. I wanted to buy just the exact same frame. I was dismayed that the frame had become obsolete and was not available. Although the frame was badly damaged, I just wanted to try my luck and asked the optician, Sultan, if it could be repaired. Lo and behold... Sultan was able to repair it right in front of my eyes, with a smile! Not only that, he attended several other calls without compromising the quality of service either to me or the caller. Now, that's called efficiency and professionalism! read more

My wife and I needed new glasses so we started a search for the best options, features and price. We went to many and found out that our vision coverage was "out-of-network" at all of them and would be very expensive. Pearle Vision was the next of 2 remaining we had not checked yet in our neighborhood. We never bothered to go to the last one. Sultan Shaikh was our Optician who met with us, explained everything to us in great detail and gave us as much time as we needed to make our decision. That was the easy part once he showed us an itemized breakdown of what our cost would be. Pearle is in our network so we had that as an added advantage. Pearle's prices were less than 1/3 of the lowest we had from others because they are in network. The attention, care and detailed information we received all warrant them a 5 star rating. I have always had trouble finding the right frame to fit my face. The truth is, I didn't even know where to start, depriving myself of sight for years! Six months ago I walked into Pearl Vision explained my issue, had an eye exam and proceeded to be overwhelmed by the many choices. Two minutes in, Marciea Williams appeared like an angel with wings and presented me with a frame she said was "a fabulous frame that would look great on me"! I didn't know anything about choosing frames so I took her advice! We decided to visit this Pearl Vision store. So, so glad we did. Upon walking in we were greeted (which I personally like). We sat down with an awesome store manager Marciea, she know all about eyes. She was very professional, knowledgeable and serious about educating you on how important regular eye exams are, my husband who thinks he still has 20/20 (smile) was very receptive to listening thanks to MARCIEA! Checked our insurance to make sure we would be in network, explained exactly what was covered and not covered. My husband now can see with his new found glasses!!! BIG THANKS TO MARCIEA!!!!! Superb service at Pearl Vision in Oakbrook Ill .....I David C. went there in the search for some new glasses and was greeted by the store manager Marcia and she was very knowledgeable about the selection on the varies of frames that would best fit me and I was there for a while and Nardia was the optician who helped process the claim and I have to say they were both TOP NOTCH professional ladies who I would like to have me and my family next the time I'm in the need of glasses. This center was great. I went on my lunch hour at 1:00 to pick out frames and was able to make appt for eye exam for same day after work. When I got back at 4:30 the receptionist had all my insurance information(I didn't know who my insurance was with). I was taken straight in for my eye exam and Salma and Josie helped me with getting all the bells and whistles on my new glasses for only $100 out of pocket. I forgot the receptionist name (please forgive me) but she was awesome. I would recommend this center to all my coworkers at Loyola Medical Center for their eye care needs. read more

I started a Yelp account for the sole purpose of reviewing the amazing team at this location. I was about a half hour late to my appointment, and ended up arriving after the last appointment, but they still got me in. I ended up being there past closing and I was very apologetic, but every single staff member was in a cheery and helpful mood. They joked with me and helped me with every question and doubt I had. The doctor does a great job of making you comfortable and explaining everything scientific that you might not understand. I highly recommend this place! read more

This store is amazing, coming from someone who works 60 hours a week and is constantly out of town, this store and it's employees get it! Never have to wait in line and are always willing to work with my time constraints. Best part is that if you've been in the store once all you have to do is call to order anything you might need. Side story: was leaving town to speak at a conference in Denver, ran out of contacts the day before and the wonderful staff at pearle was able to get me just enough trials of my contacts to get me through the trip!!! Ashley Bala asked if I was looking for glasses and told me they were 50% off bc I had purchased contacts. She helped me pick out frames and decide on the best lens.
