Anywhere else I've ever gone they take the extra 10 minutes to see if they have samples in stock and if they do then they just do the fitment of the contact lens the same day. I asked one of the ladies at the front desk and they said he would have checked if they had in stock.. but I told them I don't think he wanted to even check... it turns out they did have the samples in stock so they let me take the samples but he needed to look at my eyes again with the contacts before he could give the prescription.. so they said they would ask if he could take a few minutes to do the "fitting" and he said no now I need to go back tomorrow for a 15 minute check so he can look at my eyes.. (when I was there anyway but didn't want to see if they had my prescription in stock) when he originally told me he'd call me back for the fitment when the trials came in in 7 days... he didn't even want to try.. and wants you to come back for 3 appts total before the prescription is issued. Stay away, lesson learned for us.

It's now February and I tried to wear the stupid glasses again today (that cost way too much by the way) and they still make me dizzy. Rather than going back in there and deal with the unpleasant owners, I'll go elsewhere with an eye doctor on staff and get new glasses. I also notice that any of the positive reviews on here are really old. The most recent positive one is 4 years old and that's the "newest" - the others are at least 8 years old. I was 32 years old when I got my SMILE procedure done at this facility. I had worn corrected vision…read morelenses since I was 15 years old. I had thought about doing LASIK (I didn't even know what SMILE was until I came to this facility for a free consultation) for a few years, but never came around to being serious about it until my employer offered FSA. I looked online, and this facility had the best reviews, so I decided to give them a call. I would never try to cheap out on a life-altering surgery on my only pair of eyes. Everyone that I had dealt with was extremely friendly. If my memory serves me correctly you will have your free consultation, then a few days before your scheduled surgery you will go in for another checkup and Dr. Haddad will walk you through the process. The surgery was pretty quick and went smoothly. When I got home I went straight to bed, woke up with some minor pain (I had forgotten to take another Tylenol), rested for a bit, and then went back to sleep for the night. The next day I went in for my checkup and everything turned out great. My vision is now 20/10. I didn't experience any of the concerning side effects (e.g., glows, difficulty driving at night) that some encounter. The only thing that I noticed is that my eyes were a little dryer than normal during the winter months (having your heater turned on will obviously remove moisture so that made sense) and this is easily remedied by using artificial tears (I rarely needed to use, but it's good to keep some at home). I would highly recommend to anyone that can afford corrected eye surgery to come here. Remember that you get what you pay for, so while this place may not be the cheapest, it definitely is worth the cost. Also for those that do not know, SMILE does not require the creation of a flap (quicker recovery time).
