They also have a kids' menu, even though it is not listed on the regular menu, which is nice to know if you are bringing children with you. The staff is always awesome, friendly, and welcoming. I also love that the restaurant is located inside an old historic hotel, which gives it such a cool atmosphere -- and maybe even a few ghost stories. Overall, it is a great spot with good food, great service, and a fun historic feel. I definitely recommend checking it out.

The poutine was fabulous. The fry coating was crisp and tasty and the gravy was full of flavor. The Reuben sandwich is outstanding! The way they cut that corned beef was nothing short of magic. An egg on there? What? I've never heard of such a thing, but yes please. And I had the brûlée corn; which I may need to learn how to replicate because I've never seen this on any menu in Chicago, but it's too far to travel as often as I'll be thinking about that dish! The old fashions were smooth! Went with vanilla and loved the subtle flavors. Everyone was so nice and the atmosphere was a delightful mix of old school pub/English castle. All of it was just what I was hoping to find. Food off the beaten path that deserves a huge shout out. In a town of bland flavors, this place shines like a real gem!

The kids shared the chicken strips meal with mac and cheese and fries. Their dishes were all really good. I had a side salad with honey mustard. It was fresh and simple. My husband got a hero sandwich and it was very small. The flavor was fine but not amazing. We got potatoes with it and those are really good. Our friends with us enjoyed the fish and it was a ton of food but didn't like the strawberry salad at all. So it seems like some things are better than others and the serving sizes are very off.

The food all looked wonderful by picture and description on the menu, but was mediocre when delivered. The fried green tomatoes were the star of the show for us. Everything else was not very flavorful. The macaroni and cheese was just not good. My toddler wouldn't touch it and after a taste on my own plate I quickly could see why. It is more like a flavorless mush. We had asked for condiments after our food came that never were delivered and we waited a very long time again for boxes and a bill. We had to ask other staff to find our waitress at the end. Again, not very crowded and we waited significant time periods between service. Between the service and the food this is a spot I would totally skip for a meal if visiting Branson.

Day 1: Line waiting to get in. 15 minutes passed fast as I was talking with some folks that were eating there for their 4th day in a row. They invited me to sit with them, and we had a wonderful conversation. Literally made new friends before ever eating a bite. The coffee was very good. My eggs benedict was very good, not excellent but still yummy. Our server forgot my orange juice which I remembered hours later. Checked my receipt and I did pay for it. Day 2: No line. I opted to sit upstairs as the downstairs is noisy due to the crowd. Upstairs was quiet and the view is beautiful from up there, too. I had the eggs, bacon, and hashbrowns with biscuit and gravy. All were very good, but I'll pass on the biscuits and gravy next time. Again, the coffee was very good and the server brought the OJ I didn't get the day before. Servers are very good and friendly. Super busy handling a lot of orders. Overall, they get 5 stars. The owner stopped and said hello and she's very friendly as well. The overall feeling of the place is all are welcome; families, couples, and singles. Food was served quickly so it was easy to be in and out and on my way. Paying at the time of ordering is great! No waiting on the ticket to pay so you can get up and leave much faster. Tipping can be done at the time of the order or afterwards. Gift the server cash and they'll appreciate it. Parking is easy right out front. Use caution pulling out onto the highway when leaving. Some folks drive that road like it's a racetrack. The restroom is right at the front door which is convenient. It's nice and clean. Pricing in comparable to other places in Branson. I didn't try their cinnamon rolls because nothing could beat the cinnamon rolls at Cinnamon Nook A Small Batch Bakery a short distance from Steamy Joe Cafe. Next time I'm in the area, I will be back to Steamy Joe Cafe.

From the moment I walked in, the warm, inviting atmosphere put me in the perfect mood for a great meal. The unlimited breadsticks were fresh and addictive as always, and the house salad was crisp and refreshing. I started with the Zuppa Toscana soup, and it was absolutely on point--rich, hearty, and full of flavor with just the right balance of spicy sausage, tender potatoes, kale, and a creamy broth. It's hands-down one of the best versions I've had. For my entrée, I went with the Seafood Alfredo, and it exceeded all expectations. The sauce was perfectly creamy and garlicky without being too heavy, coating the al dente pasta beautifully. The shrimp and scallops were plump, juicy, and cooked just right--no rubbery texture here. Every bite was satisfying and left me wanting more. What really made the night special was my server, Jenna. She was incredibly nice, attentive, and genuinely friendly from start to finish. She checked on us regularly, offered helpful suggestions, kept my drink refilled, and even brought extra breadsticks without me having to ask. Her warm personality and excellent service turned a good meal into a memorable one. Whether you're craving classic Italian-American comfort food or just a reliable spot for a relaxing dinner, this Olive Garden location delivers every time. The food was hot, fresh, and flavorful, and the service was top-notch. I'll definitely be returning soon--maybe even next week! Highly recommend bringing the whole family or a date. You won't be disappointed.
