Not sure why some of the reviews say the food has declined. The new menu is better than ever. Everything I've had here is delicious.

It's great that the patio is available to sit at until the restaurant opens (because it's also the patio for ten-speed coffee)... nice overall ambience and the server today (Christian) so very nice, smart, detail-oriented and good sense of humor. Christian asked if we might like to start the meal with a martini. I mean... cool but it's like 8AM dude! We came in here for grain bowls and avocado toast for fuxsake! Not to get hammered. Do we look like people that say, "Hey, let's go get some breakfast after the farmer's market plus maybe do some shots"?? It turns out that the answer is yes, we are those people... the martini was lovely. Please don't judge... it wasn't MY idea. Anyway, the grain bowl with salmon that my wife had looked great. The rest of us had avocado toast and there no complaints and the avocado toasts with poached eggs looked really great. (My avocado toast seemed a little light on the 'cado. I mean... it's a simple dish... the fact that the name of the dish is also the entire recipe leads me to believe that there are only two important components here: Avocado... and toast. It wasn't like a meager portion of avocado... nor was it generous. The toast was perfect.) The coffee we order at the Ten Speed counter before the restaurant opened was stellar. read more

From time to time we love coming here for lunch after the farmers market on Saturdays. The ambiance is great here. Lots of friendly faces running around making sure everything goes smoothly. Both indoor and outdoor seating is lovely here. So much character all around. They serve good food with fresh ingredients and reasonable prices. The Chinese Chicken Salad is so yummy, it's made with butter lettuce and veggies with a delicious dressing. I always have to get that either to share or enjoy by myself. My sons favorite is the hot chicken sandwich and the sweet potato fries. Both delicious and flavorful. Did I mention there is a small creek/river running through right outside? So nice and relaxing. The food was delicious we sat at the bar, however as first timers, I felt the host was very rude repeatedly saying to people coming in, "Yes, you made a reservation, that's what we love to hear." It was in a very condescending manner to the guests who didn't make a reservation. After the third time of " Oh yes. You did the right thing making a reservation. It makes things so much easier. " To us (part of the reservationless group) he walked away and said just use the QR code for those without a reservation." Then with no help or even just a quote of the wait time, he said, "I'll just have to seat all the customers who have a reservation first." We ended up sitting at the bar. I see people are complaining that the food is not seasoned adequately. My husband and I ate here a few days ago and thought it was fantastic. The food was well-seasoned, but not overly salted, which is what most reviewers are really complaining about when they criticize the blandness. The food is not bland at all! We had the rib eye tacos and fish tacos, cole slaw. All was fabulous and the staff was really nice and helpful. Honestly, can't eat at most restaurants because food is so heavily salted. So we're happy with PF and will go back soon. read more

i love the eggs benedict here at pedalers fork! i love to come after the farmers market with my dad. i brought my friend with me today because i constantly rave about this place and how delicious the food is and how aesthetic and cute the restraunt is. but today i was unprofessionally asked to keep my card on file prior to the end of my meal to set up a "tab" while that has never even once happened when i had come with anyone else. i dont know if they were expecting me and my friend to dine and dash.. but it felt strange. the food is great, but our server made us feel odd for the rest of breakfast and it was a reoccuring topic. other than that, nothing bad to say about pedalers fork. :) read more

Our server, Angel, was really friendly and welcoming, and had awesome suggestions about what to order. The restaurant itself was busy but not too crowded, and there were plenty of reservations available for Saturday evening. We got a couple of the happy hour items like the griddle burger and tuna tartare which were both very flavorful and delicious. We also ordered the St. Louis Ribs served with mashed potatoes and sautéed garlic spinach, both of which complemented the ribs and barbecue sauce perfectly. For drinks, we tried the Japanese Lager and the Desert Trails cocktail, both were refreshing and the cocktail had a nice kick from the jalapeño. Overall, we had a great experience for our first time at this restaurant, and really appreciated Angel's service. I look forward to coming back and next time possibly trying the dessert. read more

We went there for Sunday brunch, and our server was very lovely. I thoroughly enjoyed my omelette with shiitake mushrooms, caramelized, onions, and tomato with a side salad. It was so fantastic that I took it home and I've been dreaming about it ever since. Nice generous portion and it was so delicious I look forward to having it again! read more

We've been to Pedalers Fork a few times now for breakfast/brunch, and it's a cool-looking place with nice enough vibes. The avocado toast is fantastic. The rest of the food has been just ok, and the service has been suuuuuper spotty. The wait staff all seem like lovely people, but not enough attention is ever paid to empty waters, coffees, or other refills. I also had a "cold brew" coffee last time that was so pale that it had very obviously been hot brewed coffee poured over ice just moments before. $6.50 for cold-ish coffee-flavored water? No thanks. All told: too expensive for the quality and lever of service. read more

Both the dinner menu and the drink menu are updated and both were great! New dinner options are elevated. At the table we had the charcuterie, the crudités, the beet salad, the salmon and the steak. All were delicious and everyone enjoyed sharing. We've had both brunch and dinner here many times but last night was better than usual! read more

First time checking this place out and not the last. I went with a group on Saturday. Food 5 out of 5 The food is so good! We ordered an appetizer and I ordered the shrimp scampi. The appetizer is big enough for 4 people. We shared it. The shrimp scampi can be shared also. There was a good mix of food options. Ambiance 5 out of 5 Really nice restaurant. It's a bit small but the outdoor area is beautiful. We got to see a family of raccoons. Service 4 out of 5 Service was good overall. Only issue I had is, it was hard to get the check at the end. Imagine one place for amazing coffee, food, drinks, yoga, and a bike shop...it's here! I'm still amazed at how they fit so much into one place but it works. I love coming here for coffee at ten speed (the coffee shop inside) and the restaurant for dinner. Also, on Saturdays there is a great farmers market that wraps around the building. Went for breakfast. Food is decent. $20 for 3 small pieces of French toast. It's good. But it's 3 pieces of bread. Ordering system is ridiculous, you need to use a QR code with your phone, which won't load half the time. There's no actual menu to hold. There's a menu board in a coffee shop that we ended up just taking a picture of to figure out what and how to order. Line for ordering is confusing and overly complicated. The ENTIRE process needs to be streamlined. Breakfast for 3 with nothing more complex than one French toast order, 2 orders of eggs, 1 coffee, and 1 order of bacon came to over $80. This was our first time to this restaurant. We felt this place was discriminatory to people with infant children the hostess looked disgusted that we has a stroller to accommodate. The host reception was a short haired woman with pointy glasses and she told us right out if we didn't have a reservation all tables were fully committed. Poor business model to turn away customers. She seated people that did not have a reservation that came in after we did. Instead of taking our name she had us sign in on the kiosk and made us wait until the lobby was empty and my wife had to go and get a to-go coffee from the shop adjacent before she realized we weren't leaving until we were seated. I am a restaurant owner and the people you have run your business are a reflection of your success. We are fully committed to make sure to NOT recommend a place like this. Food is delicious. Service is always good especially if Christian is serving you. Their bartenders are amazing and the ambiance is super cool and chill. Alex the manager is great and always on top of things. Make sure to make a reservation on the weekend. It does get busy. read more

Pedalers Fork is so closed to my heart I love coming here every Saturday morning with my boyfriend, their food is always so good and their staff is lovely. Food was not prepared correctly eggs were served uncooked and toast was burnt we asked our waiter about it and so he brought another one which was a little bit better however I felt the amount that my friend had paid was and should of been refunded to her because it wasn't a very good breakfast experience here ! The manager I spoke to Stephanie said she would refund her but it's been days and she hasn't done it yet and she is very rude and hung up the phone on me . She sounds polite but she really isn't and she doesn't take care of her guest I won't be returning and I will let others know unfortunately. read more

I was quoted 30-45 minutes for a table of two. Ended up waiting 10 minutes. They didn't ask for a name or phone number. We had to give them a name. The host that took us the table asked about a phone number and we told him that the hostess never asked for it despite asking other people. There were other tables that were resevered for two the entire time during our meal. Food was great but drinks took forever to arrive. I got my coffee a little late and little on the cold side. Dates drink didn't arrive until half way through our meal and no apology. No offer from the expo for anything else. Price came in around $100 for really bad service. read more

Love this spot and love being a local! I come here mostly for my coffee, at least once or twice a week. Best coffee shop in the back. Occasionally I'll grab a small lunch. I love that the energy here is like a cool cafe. Lots of people sitting and working in their computers, so perfect for a solo lunch date. Weekend brunch with my husband is also something we like here! The farmers market on Saturdays also means I get to have my coffee here! Everything is great and people are super friendly. Strange experience today. Met friends at Peddlers Fork in calabassas for lunch today. I ordered a decaf with lunch. The others didn't . It tasted pretty bad - even with cream and sugar. I asked for another one since it wasn't very hot by the time cream came. This was just as bad. I made my friends taste it. All agreed !! When he came with the bill I told him how bad it was and said " yes I know! A lot of people tell us that ! Most people get cappuccino ". No offer of apology or to take it off the bill ! Wow! Two stars because there are some amazing folks that serve here. Respectful friendly and kind. However, it needs to be shared that I felt very targeted by one staff member- Sean. He is a morning barista that has been there for years. I've gone for years and have had varying experiences with him. I've brought my dog. When he was a puppy, Sean was nice to him. Lately, he targets him and me. Today he claimed my dog is the only dog that barks in the restaurant. Completely untrue. I've been there many times with many dogs barking. Have they been reprimanded? Not that I noticed. I've gone out of my way to bring hi. Outside in the few times I've been to the cafe recently. Yea, he has had moments of barking and he does have a loud bark, so I've adjusted. And also made the choice not to go as much. He also claimed that I am deliberately making the environment uncomfortable and that he has had many conversations with me about it. Also untrue. He has walked by my table grunting something about not bringing my dog in. He has passively made a comment without providing a suggestion on maybe going outside or anything else. Never looking me in the eyes in a respectful manner. Is he projecting his bs into me. Yes. Maybe he's even racist, sure feels that way. I really hope for the community and the business that management addresses his behaviors and claims. I will no longer support this business after feeling targeted by untrue claims and basically being told not to come there. read more

I've always loved this place, but our recent visit was disappointing. The hostess was cold and passive aggressive, which made for an uncomfortable start. Our wine was corked, and instead of handling it gracefully, we were made to feel foolish for pointing it out though they did eventually replace it, and the new bottle tasted great! I had the ribeye steak sandwich and banana split for the second time. This time I went with the sourdough bread on the sandwich and it was absolutely incredible. I was watching Yellowstone while eating it and it was the perfect pairing, it felt like they toasted the bread over a fire with the perfect char on the edges. We're regulars here and haven't had one bad experience yet. I'm surprised they don't have more stars but in reading the bad reviews, all I can say is if you're entitled, boujee, impatient, not a foodie, this is probably not the spot for you. I can come in solo for a quick coffee or matcha, with friends, casual date with the hubby, and as a family with teens. It just works everytime. I've seen all walks of life here, many remote workers/students and the vibe is always chill and vibrant. There's indoor and (heated!) outdoor seating and complimentary valet in the rear lot. We love the tri tip and wings. We've had most breakfast/brunch options and everytime it hits. Chia seed porridge and the market salad with grilled salmon are my faves. The pizza, tasty!! If there's something up with the order and we need it adjusted or changed, the staff always happily obliges. Last but certainly not least, there's also a full bar with great cocktail list and nice selection of beer. Wait, there's more? They recently added a dessert menu and we've tried the peach crostata and brownie sundae.
