I thought this place was a great chill nature vibe. We only went for coffee and breakfast but will be coming back. My food and coffee was great. You order at the register, the employees were friendly

We loved Pedaler's Fork. I had forgotten about this place and it was recommended to us for lunch. We love the fact that they have a great breakfast and lunch menu, and there's a lot of great options to choose from. I ordered the brisket hash which was amazing. Super flavorful, with plenty of smoky, tender brisket, perfectly seasoned potatoes, poached, eggs, and vegetables in a cast-iron skillet. Absolutely delicious. My wife had the breakfast tacos which were some of the best I've tried. Large portion and the perfect smooth of everything, meaning not too saucy or heavy. They were excellent. Our service was also excellent and it's a very nice location. Their outside seating makes you feel like you're not in the city, but rather a mountain retreat. Highly recommend Pedaler's Fork and there bar is also impressive for those who want to grab a cocktail.

Looks good visually but disappointingly bland. Had to douse the brisket hash in salt, pepper, and ketchup just to make it edible.

I read the negative reviews and thought, "What are these people talking about? The servers were fantastic!" Even though it was busy, our server, a young, Caucasian girl whose name I didn't catch, was like a superhero--informative, helpful, and attentive. And hey, it's Calabasas, California, where overpaying for food is practically a sport. So, let's just embrace it and stop whining! It was our first time dining there, though we've had their coffee before. Let me tell you, their food is like a flavor explosion in your mouth. They're not stingy with portions, so you can share and still feel like you've had a feast. My girlfriend had the Nashville chicken which was good, I had the 10 egg bfast sandwich and that was deli, highly recommended ! The parking lot is tiny, but we went during the week, so it was a breeze. Very earthy inside, there is an inside and outside option to seat Will definitely be coming back soon

Plenty of parking at some point it became valet. The place is cute and a coffee place is attached to it. It's pretty spacious. We got there at 10am and it was already getting busy.. make reservations. I got the Frida sandwich with home fries and my friend got the same but with truffle fries... TRUFFLE FRIES A MUST!!!

Of course when I fly to California I have to get bruuuunchhhh Sincerely really delicious. The smoked salmon Eggs Benedict was insanely good. Pretty generous portion size, plenty of salmon and the eggs were perfectly cooked with an equally perfect toasted English muffin (not too hard, not too stuffy, literally the exact texture to soak up all of the yolk and add that creaminess to the dish alongside the hollandaise). Very popular spot in a cute kind of gold rush-western style town. Recommend you reserve a seat but we had a group of 5 at 10am on a Sunday and only waited 10 minutes so who knows? You might get lucky. I actually really liked the weird gold rush tweed hipster design and energy. Also kind of hippie vibes. Maybe I should have been born a millennial. Sat outside under a heater (thank goodness, because it was a bit chilly). Dog-friendly, which may or may not be to your liking. Server was very nice, refilled water frequently, food came out quickly. Parking is a little tough to find but there are a few paid lots if you can't get street parking. Good times with good friends.

We've been here a few times now, and I must say, the server Kirk has made our experience much better than in the past. He works super hard, always smiling and very attentive. Food is good as well and really cute backyard

Came in post work out at the local stairs just as they opened and it was perfect timing. There is seating inside and outside, it was a cool morning and we preferred inside but still felt the draft come in. We were seated promptly and our drinks order was taken though I might suggest handing a drink menu out, I understand there is a coffee shop in the shared space (that gives off a wonderful freshly brewed coffee aroma) but our server just listed off a few drinks off the top of her head and that's what we chose from. We also ordered and were happy to receive our food promptly as we looked upon other tables receiving their food we definitely want to go back to try the plates we didn't order they looked amazing. I had a wonderfully seasoned avocado toast with an egg on top. Chilaquiles were also ordered at our table and if the salsa isn't spicy enough you can ask for their habanero sauce on the side. The last plate was a build your own omelette, it was kind of boring but ordered that way as the person that ordered is on a calorie deficit. The side of potatoes were delicious and well seasoned. For drinks we ordered black coffee, chai latte with oatmilk and an orange juice. My only complaint about my chai latte was that it was a bit over on the sweet side so maybe I'll ask for no sugar next time. Overall everything was delicious and will definitely go back. Side note there is a farmers market that happens every Saturday (maybe Sunday too) But parking across the street and paying $5 was the way to go.

We LOVED our anniversary brunch! Our server Taylor was nothing below exceptional and sensational. Amazing service and personality. Sarah the host was also mention worthy. So sweet and efficient! Can't wait to come back and visit them both!!! Also bring back your pizzas lololol many people including us miss them and the sandwiches being on dinner!!!!!!

Came here recently with mom for dinner. I've long seen PF but this was my first time here. We overall really liked the food, although I wish my Market salad had a few more citrus segments in it. The gravy that accompanied mom's mashed potatoes and chicken had a lemony twist to it and we both remarked how refreshing and original that was. This would be a good first date spot because it is both casual and intimate, perfect for not feeling up tight but still wanting to get to know each other. They have heaters for the outdoor seats so if you run cold, don't hesitate to ask them to turn it on. There is a subtle cycling theme to some of the decor, which isn't a surprise given the name and that there's a bike shop to the left right before you walk up to the bar.

Food was nothing less than spectacular with also a very relaxing view next to a small creek. I'm boyfriend where my lady asks me to finish her food and I couldn't even finish mine to put in perspective how massive this burrito was. My service wasn't the best, my sever went on break and didn't tell me or anyone to pick me up as a table so I sat wanting my check for 15 minutes also without anything to drink till I had to reach out and ask the manager.

We were in town for the day looking for a place to grab food and this spot seemed like it had a nice vibe! Staff were incredibly friendly and helpful when it came to figuring out what to order. We opted for the happy hour and unfortunately all 3 dishes were a disappointment. The sliders were pretty bland and tasted like they were put on store bought Hawaiian rolls. The nachos had a variety of sauces that didn't seem to go well together. Finally the salmon skewers were so fishy that we didn't eat the last one (for fear of food poisoning). If the food had been good, this would have easily been a 4-5 star experience!

Looks 10 times better than it tasted :((
    Elise M.

Honestly the place is so cute and the vibe is great (only reason I gave 3 stars otherwise it's a 2 for the food) so we chose this as an early Mother's Day brunch... we were looking at the menu hoping it would line up with the prices - sounded delicious. It was sadly a disappointment aside from the latte I got the market salad with chicken - for one it looked gorgeous so I was excited, and it literally had zero flavor. Even the dressing had to add salt just to eat it- I've never added salt to a salad before for reference lol to add to that it was $27 before tax and tip. For a terribly bland salad. Looked pretty tho! My fiancé and future mother in law had pancakes and crab cake Benedict. I tried the pancakes after my salad cuz I wanted something yummy to top off the bland meal - she warned me they weren't that great and kind of dry. Sadly, she wasn't wrong those were $20 or so... didn't have any fruit or anything to make it special. ihop may have been better.... The crab cake Benedict for $28 was "ok". We have zero problem paying that money for a meal that's delicious but we would have had better luck staying home and cooking in. Just really nothing to write home about and absolutely wouldnt come back :(

I thought the size of the dishes were small and the price on the expensive side. The duck confit fries were good but skimpy on the duck - don't bother with this dish because it's all fries and green garnish. The cacio e pepe was not a hit - go to a Italian resturant for this item. I also did not like the eggplant starter with pita bread - not appetizing and the portion was very small. The salmon was presented beautifully and was good. The truffle burger was good as well and the kale salad was fresh. We ordered drinks and they were good. Desserts were good, again on the small side but no complaints in terms of taste for the ube cheesecake, rose panna cotta, and creme brulee. Overall, for a bill that's over $300 with a 20% tip, for a party of 3, we usually are stuffed and have food to go. At this place, we barley could share an entree or dessert cause the portion sizes were so tiny. Every dish was presented artistically and the place is rose themed throughout so it lives up to its name. It's been here for 3 years so I hope it continues to do well, just not my cup of tea.

We got the sauteed calamari to start. It came in a hot tomato bisque/broth and on the side there were a few pieces of bread which you could soak in the liquid. They could have been more generous with the bread, there was definitely more broth than the bread but it was overall a nice starter and great for sharing. For mains, we got the miso black cod and the king salmon. Both were tasty! The cod was flavorful and yummy, though if you've ever had/made miso black cod it tastes just like that. It came with crunchy sauteed snap peas which I really enjoyed. The salmon was a narrow but large portion and served with broccoli and rice. The salmon was cooked nicely, it was tender. Overall nice meal here! Good food, nice ambiance, good service. On the pricey side for what you get though, like most LA restaurants.

The service we received was also excellent, thanks especially to our server, Blake, who really made the experience more enjoyable. Star of the Night: Without a doubt, the focaccia was the best I've ever had. Perfectly fluffy, flavorful, and truly next-level. The pizza butter was a nice touch, though not as memorable as the bread itself. Appetizers: * Caesar Salad: I wasn't a fan of the presentation with the large anchovies on top. I don't mind anchovies in the dressing, but having them laid out on the salad wasn't appetizing. * Tempura Mushrooms: Great flavor, but they were overly fried, making them a bit too hard and masking the mushroom itself. The sauce that came with them was delicious, but there wasn't enough of it to balance out the crispiness. * Grilled Shrimp: Unfortunately, this one missed the mark. The plating was very plain compared to the other dishes, and the flavors just didn't come through. It felt like the dish could use a serious upgrade. * Hamachi Crudo: This was a highlight! The passion fruit purée paired beautifully with the fish, though the extra oil on the plate caused separation and made it hard for the sauce to stick. A small tweak here would make it perfect. Entrees: This is where the meal lost momentum. After the apps, it took about 30-45 minutes for the mains to arrive, which felt unnecessarily long since the full order had been placed upfront. By the time they arrived, the dishes themselves didn't really deliver. * Scallop Curry: Decent flavor, but the scallops could have used a much better sear to really shine. Something about the plate felt a little off-balance. * Pappardelle with Short Rib Ragu: The pasta noodles were well-made, but the short rib lacked depth of flavor and tenderness. It seemed undercooked for what should have been a slow-braised, melt-in-your-mouth kind of meat. Overall, the dish was bland and uninspired. Drinks & Dessert: I skipped the cocktails because none really stood out, but the glass of wine I ordered was excellent. We also passed on dessert after waiting so long for the entrees. Final Thoughts: The restaurant has a lot of potential, the ambiance is beautiful, the focaccia is unforgettable, and the service (thanks to Blake) was wonderful. But the rest of the menu felt inconsistent, with several dishes needing more attention to detail in both flavor and presentation. I'm glad I finally tried it, but for me, the focaccia and service were the true highlights of the night.

I wanted to make a reservation but was not able to, and when I tried phoning the restaurant, no one answered the call and the recording stated that voicemail was not set up. I did send a message through their website and Sonia was super helpful getting back to me directly via email and she set up the reservation. When we arrived, there was a table reserved for us. Everyone that we encountered at the restaurant offered great customer service. I thought the service was a 5+. Attentive and kind service, which I love. The food itself was only just okay. In comparison to other local delis, I would rank it a 4. We visited the restaurant at lunchtime and it was packed and very loud. When I was on the Lovi's official website (www.lovisdeli.com), there was an offer to join their VIP program, which I did. It offers points for each dollar spent to redeem for discounts. Well...NO ONE in the restaurant was aware of the program, even a manager that has been there from the start, so I thought it was really odd! I have joined these programs at many restaurants and never had one not know about the program offered on their website. As such, no rewards earned! Until we paid with a credit card, we didn't realize there was an extra 3% fee that would be charged. Had we known, we'd have paid with cash. Being that the VIP program is advertised, but not known, and using a credit card incurs an extra fee, I have to lower my overall rating.

The owner Doneick Rainey came over several times to make sure everything was perfect; and it was. He explained that his expertise in black culinary cuisine and his wife from Thailand, combined with her delicate touch , created the perfect blend. Hence the name, Blai. Later came the main course , Blai Gumbo, hot Seafood Soup, spicy fried rice, yellow curry, along with orange chicken, and spicy chili sauce. Add the tea and cocktails, and we were set.
