Cozy and reliable stop for a great cup of coffee. Its convenient location and short walking distance make it easy to pop in while running errands or meeting up nearby. The shop opens early, which is perfect for early mornings when you need caffeine before the day really starts. Inside, the atmosphere is comfortable with noise levels that strike a nice balance. Lively enough to feel welcoming but quiet enough to relax or catch up on work. There is outdoor seating available, though it can feel a bit nippy depending on the weather. Overall, it's a dependable, comfortable coffee spot that fits seamlessly into a busy morning or a casual break.

I was craving a spiced pumpkin latte a few days ago. It wasn't on their menu anymore but luckily they still had some left. It was delicious just as I expected and it hit the spot - I was happy sipping this while running around doing errands. This place was clean, not busy or crowded for a weekend so that was perfect.

Nice big Peet's location in The Veranda Shopping Center! Parking is tough here - not gonna lie! We ordered on the app and our drinks were ready asap - and made perfectly. There is a lot of both indoor and outdoor seating and it's very warm and inviting inside.

As much as I love Peet's, I am definitely disappointed on how much things have changed since Mallory and Tom S., left. I don't hear good mornings or thank yous and my order has been off. I took a break and have been having Bustelo instant coffee at home with Choboni creamer, and wouldn't ya know it, the day I chose to grab a cup, thumbs down! Good thing my order was ready when I got there, but they should really put the black stick toppers on the cups to prevent particles from entering.

I'm always going to like Pete's because it is the first coffee company that I ever drink from like I never had a Starbucks I'll have pizza before that time. And when I started drinking coffee at home it was always Pete's. I fell in love with her hibiscus tea many years ago as well so peace is like a treat for me I wish they had more locations like their competitor but when I do stumble upon one I pop open that app and get my rewards on. This particular day I was in Concord with my girlfriend shopping and we stopped there after our last store to get something cool to drink. I will say this peach rose lemonade sparkling drink that I ordered was not good at all unfortunately I should have stuck with my hibiscus tea but I tried something different cuz it sounds really refreshing and it just didn't have any flavor so not my type of thing unless we just missed an ingredient that day I have no idea what was the situation. On the other hand I got my girlfriend a business tea and she enjoyed it I actually even stole a couple sips of hers.

This is a standard stop while shopping and dining at The Veranda. Can't think of anything negative about it. My choice over Starbucks any day. They make great drinks and I've never felt displeased with their service. They have great seating in both indoors and out. Great place to get caffeinated and take a quick break.

I'm a Peets over Starbucks gal so I go to my fair share of Peets around the Bay. This one is across the plaza from Whole Foods and has tons of parking. This one is pretty well kept with very friendly staff! I was there for a couple of hours and the whole time I was there the staff greeted each customer as they came in and when they left. They also did a great job keeping this cafe pretty clean!

Always stop by here after my laser appointment next door , I love the interior and outdoor seating area as they look luxurious and gives me inspo for my own backyard . I place a mobile order and usually does not take a long time , I also like their food and drink selections as they seem to have more variety and healthier than Starbucks . Usually packed on weekends since it is in the Veranda.

Cute coffee shop in the middle of a strip mall! We found this place on Yelp by searching for local…read morecoffee shops and this one stood out! The staff was friendly and there was plenty of parking in front and behind the cafe. It was well decorated, with big windows, an open-air bar, and cafe merchandise for sale. There was also a bulletin board advertising other businesses, a bathroom, and wifi options. It was a bit warmer this day, but there was a big fan in the front providing some air to the space. There was also a free or paid wifi option depending on the bandwidth one would need. I ordered the iced chai latte with caramel syrup and almond milk, which was a bit pricey for nearly $10. However, I will say it was delicious and made quickly. Probably the coolest thing here though was the co-working space. The front of the cafe had plenty of seating for people to talk or work. There was a hallway leading to the back room that had larger tables for bigger groups, implying more of a co-working or quieter space. Definitely appealing for people wanting a third space - will be back!

What Happened to the Choco Bun?…read more Plenty of free parking. When you walk in, grab a tray and window shop all the pastries. They individually wrap these so grab what you want and place it on your tray. Once you're finished, cruise up to the counter. Would I Come Back? Yes, I keep coming back. I use to come back for the Choco Bun, but if they've changed the recipe at all locations, I'll only be coming back for the Milk Bun and Nougat. Their Signature Item: Egg tarts are their signature item. If you've ever been to an Asian party, someone almost always brings a box of egg tarts from 85-Degrees. But on today's visit. Well, just look at the photo. Someone stepped away from the oven for about 6 minutes too long. Choco Bun ($2.55, Grade D): The Choco Bun has been my absolute go-to for years--the closest location to me is usually the South Sacramento store and I tell everyone they have to get it whenever they visit an 85°C. Unfortunately, it's been about 8 months since my last trip, and the Choco Bun is no longer something to write home about. Milk Bun ($2.05, Grade A+): If you've ever had their Milk Bun with the custard filling, the Choco Bun used to be very similar in texture. Now, it's flat with super dry edges. Not good at all. Luckily, I also bought a Milk Bun (my usual second favorite), and by default, it's now my number one because the Choco Bun was a complete bust. It's so fluffy and sweet. Melts in your mouth. Strawberry Banana Smoothie / no boba ($5.85, Grade F): It was incredibly artificial-tasting--nothing real about it. I only made it through a quarter of it before throwing the rest into the garbage. My fault for hoping for a "just picked" fresh fruit taste, but this was honestly one of the worst smoothies I've ever had. Nougat ($9.60, Grade A+): The bagged Nougat candy is fantastic. It's soft, gooey, and packed with what I'm guessing are pieces of pistachio. Delicious, but a fair warning if you have dental issues: these will wreak havoc on your teeth. It's not quite as sticky as a Starburst, but it could definitely pull out a denture! Bottom Line: The staff here is friendly, and there are still a few standout 5-star items that make a visit worth it (the Milk Bun and the Nougat). However, the disappointing recipe change to the Choco Bun and the absolute miss on the smoothie knock this down to a 3-star experience overall.

I called in today to see if they could decorate a faux cake for me. Not only was she rude, but she told me she would charge me AS MUCH AS SHE WOULD for a real cake. You mean to tell me it would cost me $100 plus to decorate a piece of Styrofoam? And then, when I told her the shape of the Styrofoam, she flat out said no. As if the shape of the Styrofoam changes the action? And I'm not a baker, at least not a professional one, but something feels off about what feels like the refusal to help me. And it's not like I am looking for free service, I'm willing to pay, but I'm not willing to pay cake prices for icing on Styrofoam. Saying no, as a business is OK, I'm all for it. But customer service needs a serious rebranding. I have never had a good in person/over the phone experience. Their food speaks for itself, but the customer service skills really takes away the value of a local business that has been around for years. I hope whoever I spoke on the phone with has a better day

They also have flavors of the season (not sure how often it is switched). They recommend Ube and matcha together, so that is what I did. I purchased the Taiyaki cone (fish cone) filled with red bean paste, on top of Matcha and Ube soft serve. It was Delicious! It is such a good combo, both flavors are good by themselves but together with the cone and red bean paste was delectable. To start, the employee working at the cash register was super friendly and gave great suggestions on drinks and food to order based on how sweet we like things or more coffee for we may want things to be. There isn't really any indoor seating space but they did build out into the parking lot with a few picnic tables and chairs for people to stay and eat their food. While we both really enjoyed the food - both of which were recommended by the employee - the coffee was not good at all. Pro: the avocado toast that we ordered had a curried chickpea salad on top and it had a delicious flavor. That was probably my favorite bite! We also shared half order of the blueberry waffle, and it had a type of granola on top that provided some really great textures. The food certainly impressed me. Con: Both of us felt like the coffee had none of the flavor that it was supposed to have (we both ordered the cardamom maple iced latte with macadamia nut milk) and instead, it just tasted like milk. It didn't even really have a coffee forward flavor. Since this is a coffee shop that was a pretty big disappointment. Overall, we enjoyed the food and service, but would skip the coffee.
