Great pastries! [Granite Bay CA] I picked up some pastries here just as they were almost closing for the day. I got two coffee cakes and two cinnamon rolls. I have special love for coffee cakes so I was glad they still had some more left towards the end of business day. The pastries were very good. The employee was welcoming and acknowledged me right away as soon as I walked in. Clean coffee shop. There are plenty of seating inside as well as outdoor patio seating. This Peet's location is in a strip shopping area so there was a lot of shared parking. The only thing challenging is getting out of this shopping place back to Douglas Blvd at a busy commute time as there is no traffic light anywhere and the only option for me to get back to Roseville is to make a right and make a U-turn. THIS STORE IS CLOSING JAN 30th 2026. First off I want to say SHAME ON PEETS MANAGEMENT. You guys are closing Peets coffee in Granite Bay, California. Shame on you guys. This is my favorite store, I have been coming here for the last two years. The baristas here are so hard working, friendly. The location is always busy when I go. I go to many Peet's coffee in Sacramento, this is by FAR the best one. I've even been to Peet's coffee in San Francisco, and the Peets Coffee in Granite Bay is by far the best one. Also the staff here make really good coffee and are genuinely great people. So again SHAME ON PEETS MANAGEMENT for closing this store on January 30th, 2026. I honestly may have to boycott Peets coffee, because there is absolutely no reason this location should close, the coffee is excellent, the cafe is ALWAYS clean, the people in this neighborhood are so friendly, I would imagine there is next to none crime at this location being in Granite Bay. Yea this is just a bad bad decision to close this location, you will be losing a lot of good customers. Bad business... read more

Towards the end of the day we wanted a treat so Peets was conveniently located on the way home. There were a few tables filled with customers on this 3 digit heat wave day. The shop was lovely with its clean ambiance and air conditioned establishment. One of the staff was busy cleaning windows and the other was busy in the back. As soon as we walked in we were greeted in a friendly manner and helped promptly! It only took a few short moments to gather our order and we were in our way. Love the layout of this store. Many places to sit and escape the hustle of incoming patrons. The shop is bright, clean and welcoming. If you love Peet's you'll love this location!! read more

One of my favorite Peet's locations in the area. Always clean, quick, and the staff is friendly. During the holidays, my go-to is the Holiday Spice Latte. My dad enjoys coming here regularly for a cappuccino cloud style; they do a great job. Plenty of seating indoors and outdoors available, and lots of parking. read more

I love this location in Granite Bay. It's on Douglas Blvd in a small shopping complex called Quarry Parks. The shopping complex contains a woman's boutique, a day spa and of course Pete's coffee. They have other places too however I can't remember what other places they have. Anyways, this Pete's Coffee is pretty spacious with lots of tables and booths to sit at. They have bathrooms located inside the coffee shop which is nice, a yummy food selection (my favorite is the morning muffin and their egg and cheese sandwich) and their drinks are amazingly good. Very refreshing and delicious. Good customer service as well with nice and quick service. This is one of my favorite Pete's coffee locations for sure. Recommend. read more

Ive tried with granite bay but it is one of the most awkward peets locations. The staff is stuck up m, cold, indifferent, unfriendly. Last 2 visits it's been very slow but When you come up to the counter its almost an inconvenience to the staff that you are there. They are polite but the vibe is off. Last time i was there the cashier spun the tip window at me and stared me down until i picked an option. Cream was sitting out forever. And the bathroom situation is weird. Not their fault but the hallway that used to be open years ago, is now its taped up with tarp preventing entry. The business complex is doing construction and its a long walk outside to a door with open construction area to use two bathrooms THAT don't even lock up! Not even kidding. They were for the most part clean. But 2 visits ago there was no paper towels. At least the mgr guy who used to work here back in 2014 is gone read more

I came here today on the way to my appointment since I had a free coffee given my bad experience at another location. The staff working here are super friendly, very efficient and they were very happy to make the drink exactly how I wanted with my four pumps of white chocolate. This is a very clean establishment very clean atmosphere. It is located on Douglas Boulevard in Granite Bay. very easy to find they have several different drinks to choose from not just coffee. They have tea drinks and much more and they even have delicious food items to choose. Was literally asked to leave before even ordering today when I brought in my service dog because apparently placer county is cracking down on allowing service animals into shops. I absolutely love this place! So glad I moved to California where I can now enjoy Peet's! Previously only visited CA. I was checking out Sacramento this morning and decided to stop by this location. On my way back home. This store is awesome. It's very clean, the staff is friendly as all get out, very knowledgeable of their products and everything they suggested it was delicious! The design of the store is very inviting and calming as well. I love the aesthetic. I got the Horchata cold brew oat latte, the coffee cake, bacon cheddar brioche. Sooooo yummy! I've been coming to this location for about 8 months. Maybe 3/4 times a month, as it is a location not exactly on my normal route, but I make exceptions for it based on their service! I can't say that I've ever been disappointed here. They know that I am a Peetnik, and that I have TWO locations close to home (one I frequent OFTEN, the other I refuse to give a fourth chance to.) It is almost like they try to "out do" the drink presentation before. I have a "usual" drink, which is the Iced Americano with VEGAN whip. Peet's is the ONLY coffee spot to offer this, which is plant derived and dairy free (hello!) This particular location they REALLY go out of their way to design the whip top (probably because they know I'm going to take photos!) You do need to catch this location early, after 7A it gets pretty busy. The staff here is ALWAYS friendly, and always very engaging! Again, NOT a local spot for me. But, I make the trip because they MAKE the trip WORTH IT! read more

If I could give zero or negative stars I would very gladly do so. The coffee I got was extremely bitter and turned my stomach upside down after the first sip. The manager was extremely sassy and had no control over the rest of the staff. I should have turned around when I walked in and saw that the lobby had 1 other person in it but was still a disaster (trash cans overfilled, messy tables, dirty floors) I used to be in love with the Peet's franchise but after this experience I think I'll be making coffee at home. We stopped by this Peet's on Wed morning and we were pleasantly surprised to meet Austin. He was the nicest Barista and he just floated all over behind the counter helping everybody with everything. I love coffee, usually I make one at home which is the best, and then a second coffee mid morning. I discovered the Peet's app and they deliver! Wow! I have done this now a few times. Today however I ordered in the app and some how reverted to pickup instead of delivery. It was unnoticed since I have not had to do anything the last couple of times. So about 30 min go by and I check my order to discover pick up, I drive down to pick up and ask for a drink carrier. How do they not have a drink carrier!! I like the center this place is located in, there is so much to do within there. I would always come here before my other appointments, and get a almond mike late, it was so good one of the first coffee places to have almond milk. Its a great place to just hang out relax and catch up with friends or study and prepare for any word you may have. read more

This is my first Yelp related dilemma. I love this Peet's location. A lot. So much so that I couldn't really feel good about keeping my praise to myself. However, if people take my recommendation and go to this location and start clogging up the line and start sitting on my bench, I might be vaguely annoyed. Everyone that works there is pretty awesome and very helpful if you need anything at all. They have a great selection of teas and you can taste any one that intrigues you before you buy. They aren't stingy with the refills and are pretty cool with customers hanging around for a while. There's also a nice little lake out behind the business plaza that's a great place to hang out and enjoy your coffee or tea. Please go there and enjoy, but try and stay away from my bench if you can. I like going to Peet's but this location for some reason seem to have a little bit of a snobby attitude. I am more of a Starbucks person and I know that Peet's has their own following, but come on its just coffee. Don't get so hung up when you walk in and accidentally order a grande and look at you like your stupid. For some reason it takes forever to make your drinks as well? I never thought the day would come that I gave Peets a bad review, but that day has arrived. I've been in here about 5 times, and almost every time my drink has been lukewarm at best. Today I politely asked if the barista could make it hotter & she literally took my drink and threw it in the sink, where it splattered everywhere, down the front of the sink and onto the ground. I can't be sure she was angry, but she definitely wasn't kind about it at all. When I got my drink again, the flavoring was so strong I couldn't even drink it. I'd already gone to my car, and didn't want to upset the barista again, so I drove to a Starbucks & put some creamer in my drink to try to make it bearable. Of course that cooled the drink down, so I was back where I started. I don't know if the baristas here are just moody because they have to deal with rich Granite Bay types all the time, or what. But I have been a faithful Peets customer for years, and never seen service this bad. On top of my bad experience today, I have to say that they don't seem to know how to make foam here. Their foam is always super thin, to the point of being nonexistent. I feel bad leaving a negative review for Peets, but I really think this location needs some help. I'll go to Roseville next time I need a Peets fix. They are much more professional and friendly there. read more

I have a been a huge fan of Peet's Coffee and was totally thrilled when they opened up the Granite Bay location, the Folsom location, and the El Dorado Hills location. I love Peets! Why? Good coffee, not overly loaded on high fructose corn syrup compared to Starbucks. Goodness you can taste! They carry great varieties of tea too:) And I love their scones and citrus bread.
