Less milk!
Sara S.

I usually like this Pete's a lot but they tend to be slow at to go drinks.. or if the barista is on time and drink is prepared, the person moving them to the 'to go area' is behind in moving them where we can pick them up.. but most importantly the last THREE times i have been, my iced mocha had one inch LESS milk than its supposed to.. maybe because i asked for no whip so they didn't add the milk?! No other peets does that. Also, they have some homeless visitors (surprising for location i know) and the other day the smell was terrible and no one was doing much about it. (Spray?!)

Unmarked bin where everyone is dumping everything! :(

Almost environment friendly! * There are no recycle bin to throw into, for bottles, papers etc. Pros, - Horchata oat latte and the herbal trees are must try here. - Baristas are working hard and always welcoming with a smiling face. - Few tall seats in the middle and few outlets on sides - WiFi, restroom

Very Busy but they run like it well oiled machine. The inside is super clean and they have plenty of seating. The atmosphere is also very nice and they have lots of cool things to buy on Display. I ordered a pumpkin spice latte for the first time in my life, "with 1/2 & 1/2 cuz that's how I roll" the barista asked me what kind of milk I would like before making it "I thought that was really nice of her" the pumpkin spice flavor was light and rich, simply deliciously beautiful.

Cozy little location in menlo park! The staff is super friendly, coffee is always amazing and fresh. They have nice ambiance for sitting and working or just reading a book. Location is amazing, at the corner of the block overlooking the streets.

Great location with parking in the back. Good service as well. Fun to stroll downtown afterwards.

But, I decided to try it again in case they had anything new. I had their Caffe Mocha made with their ganache chocolate. Interesting taste. Not bad. It was filled to the top before I remembered to take a picture. The brown butter blondie wasn't overly sweet. Service was okay. We ordered from the cashier and 2 of the 3 baristas disappeared so it took a few minutes. It was a bit busy. Seating on the inside against the wall and the 4 tables outside had a good turn around. I missed the affogato on the menu so I will have something to try next time I'm here.

The coffee shop was packed, even in the late afternoon, but we waited because we didn't see too many other coffee shops in the mall. Despite the long line, the baristas were upbeat and kept the line moving. In the mood for something refreshing, I ordered the NOLA cold brew with cinnamon and honey. My cold brew was prepared immediately, but my friends had to wait 15+ minutes for their Shakerados. The NOLA cold brew was sweet and refreshing - the light cinnamon and honey added just the right amount of sweetness to the smooth cold brew. We took our drinks to go, since we still had plenty of shopping to do!

The inside has such a pretty aesthetic, with a few inside tables to How to order is with an iPad kiosk, so card payment only. The menu selection is nice and simple, offering matcha and hojicha options. There are also small desserts like cheesecakes, cake rolls whole or slice and tiramisu. This tea shop is nice to go to after work to relax and decompress for a bit. Items my coworker and I ordered- * Hojicha Strawberry Latte - light sweet, soy milk and less ice. Decor is cute but sleek, vibes are calm, bar seating by window and a few small tables with seats. Ordering is fast at the kiosk front desk which doesn't seem to have a cashier. Lots of tasty drink options with milk choices and customizable sweetness and ice level - much appreciated! Cakes were delicious and filled with freshly whipped cream. We had the hojicha and biscoff ones. Not incredibly busy - a lot of orders were takeout. Cons: A lot of things were out of stock by 1pm but maybe this is due to Mother's Day. Pricey but the items were high quality. Store is a small footprint with limited utilities (no WiFi, bathroom was temporarily out of order). Parking is very difficult- it's on el Camino so the cars are unforgiving if you're trying to parallel park, and the road parallel by a block is not much better. It has an alley and a very cramped space in the back for a lot. Expect to walk.
