I work nearby and visit this Peet's on a weekly basis. The staff is AMAZING! They are so kind with big smiles of recognition any time I come in. Everyone knows my order (large cold brew with 2%) and will sometimes expedite it because they know I have to get back to work. If there's no line I have my order before I even finish paying. The place is always clean with a quiet environment good for reading or working. I have to assume the training is good, too. The pumpkin chai latte with almond milk crossed off my seasonal quota for pumpkin flavored drinks. It's pretty sweet so I would take the latte home and add more almond milk to dilute the flavoring, which is an unintended plus for me because then I get to have 2 drinks for the price of one. It's pretty noisy and busy even on a Monday so I wouldn't choose this spot to get some work done but it is adequately air conditioned so it feels nice to escape the heat. read more

I had a work call and placed an order through the Peet's app for delivery, they delivered it to the wrong address (reading is fundamental) and won't do anything about it. I spoke to the store, the 1 800 customer service number, and even DoorDash the 3rd party (who of all 3 was the most helpful and even called the store to attempt to initiate a redelivery.) Unfortunately they choose not to and have not resolved the issue. When asked for an escalation with Peet's customer service they said it would be 24hours. The most screwed up service and food today. I used to come here alot but never again. I ordered two coffees. One drip and one latte . Latte came first, when I asked about my drip coffee , she said it's coming . I waited and waited to only get decaf. Then when I questioned the guy he said it was decaf. So I asked again for regular . We used to love this place. The staff is so nice but sadly we will not be back. They literally have two chairs in their coffee place that are comfortable, and the rest of the seating is not comfortable. Last week I was reading my book at a table and I pulled in the chair across from me to just put my toes up because I needed some more back support. I had removed my shoes. Then a manager comes by and tells me to put my feet down and it was really embarrassing. Then she went in the back and I wanted to have a conversation about what had just conspired but she wouldn't come out and one of the workers told me on the phone later that they're very concerned about hygiene and that that was unhygienic? They allowed dogs in their restaurant so I don't think that's hygienic either, but anyway. I will miss the employees but I won't be back. Finding a new coffee place. read more

I went in for a pick up order that I put in on Uber Eats and the app tells me the orders ready, it was a large order of 4 drinks. So when I walked in a see a big bag and I try to look in the bag because it was the only big bag order on the counter so as I'm trying to glance I'm able to see it has my name on it so I start moving the bag closer and one of the younger girls snatches the bag from me and tells me "this is for Nate" and runs off before I can say that was me. Then I wait a bit and attempt again to grab MY bag to put my drinks in and then the only old lady that works there runs up and snatched the bag out of my hand, then at this point I say "that's for Nate right? That's my order isn't it ready" and she says "yes" then rips the order receipt off the bag, takes out the cup holders and puts them back and folds the bag to put it away and walks away. So I had to grab literally the same cup holder that she just put back and load up my drinks and leave without a bag. Luckily the guy there making the drinks at the time was polite and had a good vibe. Oddly ever since the remodel drinks have not been good. The staff is nice enough but gosh the drinks always disappoint compared to other locations. My matcha latte tastes mostly like oat milk and the color is light. I'm not about to pay more for flavor when at Starbucks I can add as many scoops as I want for no up charge. The lattes tastes off too. Do I tell them? No, because no matter who makes them they just don't hit like at other locations and I've been to a few. Maybe they're too busy to make things better but I've been there at different times with different staff and level of busy. Not bad- consistency was smooth, lightly sweet but I have a demanding sweet tooth, so I wished there was more sweetness coming from the cinnamon sugar. The cinnamon sugar kicks in during your first few sips but the medium roast flavor kicks and totally wipes out the sweet taste. I really like this location. Staff are friendly, the indoor area is quite spacious, and you are right next to Whole Foods. It is quite convenient! That said, parking can be a bit tricky, especially on the weekends. It can also be a little confusing as to where the line starts, if you've never been to this Peet's location before. You start in the left and then wait for your order on the right. I've had the cold brew, Horchata oat latte, and it's really good! I could potentially ask for a little bit less sweet, but it's a nice treat! There are some seats outdoors as well. read more

Peet's Coffee really got my attention when I saw they have a whole plant based section on their menu for not only coffees and teas but food items! And it's not just a bagel with avocado spread either. They have a plant based breakfast sandwich - The Everything Plant Based Sandwich - everything bagel with beyond sausage, just egg and vegan cheddar. It's not spectacular BUT compared to another big coffee chain, Pete's has a wider variety of plant based options. As of now this is the only plant based sandwich option but they also offer a vegan muffin and a vegan brownie. My favorite item on their menu is the Matcha Latte with brown sugar and oat milk. I'm usually hesitant to get matcha at chain coffee shops because the matcha quality isn't always the best but at Pete's it's actually not bad! I love that they sweeten it with brown sugar syrup too. I'm a sucker for the sweeter things. I have also tried the Horchata Cold Brew oat milk latte and that was delicious. It definitely felt like Christmas in a cup to me because of the cinnamon in the horchata. I love the staff at this location, they're always friendly and service is quick. It's always clean here with tables being wiped off and the outside tables are clean as well. There's never trash everywhere. Every location I've been to has been consistent with service and cleanliness. Definitely check out their plant based menu next time you're looking to try something new! read more

Had to write these names down to remember their excellence: Helen, Alyssa, & Nick with Amy as the shift. All I can say is, "Wow." (In the best way possible). Today my office had a very last minute coffee order and I went to place it in person. I walked in to see a pretty busy scene & was nervous that I might be there a while or that I might get a drink messed up. The experience could not have been more opposite! The person working the register took my order of about 15 drinks without any issues, got all my sizes, milk preferences, syrup amounts, & other edits punched in perfectly without any hang ups. She communicated everything with her coworkers working the drinks and away they went! I borrowed a pen to get the receipt figured out & watched while this team perfectly maintained the flow of helping the other customers while simultaneously getting my order underway. It was really cool to hear how motivated & happy to help they were. I was so impressed! As the drinks started coming out, I saw that even went as far as writing the names of the drinks & their modifications on the lids & let me use a sharpie to add coworker's names to avoid any confusion back at the office. So helpful! Within about 15 minutes from ordering, I was walking out the door This staff absolutely exceeded my expectations and blew me away today! Their teamwork behind the counter was seamless as they poured shots, finished drinks, & got EVERY DETAIL of my complicated drink orders correct in the FIRST TRY (all while helping the other customers at the same time!). The only thing I regret is not being able to leave a bigger tip on the company card I'm amazed. I've been coming to this Peet's for years but have never ordered more than a couple drinks max. I have several coffee options in the neighborhood but come to this location for several reasons- it's centrally located in the plaza right next to Whole Foods so I can grab a latte and run errands, super easy parking situation with lots of spots, very COVID friendly with a big inside + outside seating if I want to sit and enjoy my coffee or meet with a friend.
