I've been here a few times, by myself and with friends, meaning it's time for a review! I'm always so excited to drag my friends to Pegah's for breakfast. What's even more exciting is that my face is remembered, but that's probably because I spilled my water aaaaall over my table Christmas Eve morning. The food here is delicious and you can't beat the price. Coffee drinkers, look no further because THE COFFEE IS WHAT KEEPS ME COMING BACK. It is so good! By weird coincidence, Stephanie waits my table nearly every time I'm here, but I don't mind. Her customer service is well above average. My first time at Pegah's, Stephanie actually helped me customize my order because I couldn't decide between their Grilled Ham and Egg sandwich or their Cinnamon Raisin Toast. I have literally never experienced that with a server, I was expecting her to give me an opinion on which was the better option. The manager is very friendly as well, he's quick to seat me and makes me laugh with jokes about me needing a kids cup.. which is probably true, lol. I was so excited to have breakfast with friend who is a regular customer but was disappointed with quality of food. I ordered a traditional eggs Benedict - the ham was not Canadian but a cheap chewy fatty ham! The sauce was not hollandaise but a thick dark yellow sauce- not pleasant at all. Come here just about every weekend for breakfast. They have a nice patio that I can bring my puppy so that always nice. We always get greeted quickly. Coffee, water and menus brought out quick. Food is always good. All in all, very recommend. read more

Brought my car in for an oil change across the street. Been here many times and loved it but today was a disappointment. Short stack of 2 pancakes...(.that was it for me and my grandson for a pre bike ride in the dirt trails)small and thin as I looked over my shoulder and others had huge pancakes of which I asked if that was the short stack of pancakes. The waitress admitted they were smaller than usual due to a switch of cooks at that specific time of morning, 900. My boyfriend & I have been frequent customers of Pegah's for the last 2+ years. We go a few times a month sometimes weekly. Always great service from the host to the servers. All the waitress have even learned our drink orders and the substitutions in some of our orders. The food is great, fairly priced, and in large quantity. My daughter and I were in Escondido helping out my father for a period of time and we drove by this place several times before trying it out. We found it to be very friendly and quaint. The service was excellent. I really wanted a breakfast crepe but they didn't have one on the menu that looked like something I wanted. I asked if they just could make one with eggs and cheese and veggies. The waitress said sure they could ask the Cook if you can make one like the veggie omelette only a creep. I was pleasantly surprised that they would be so accommodating. It turned out to be delicious and very filling. I had some fruit on the side and it was actually fresh and soft instead of hard. And green as fruit often is when ordered as a side at a restaurant in the winter. When we left we ordered a cinnamon roll to take to my dad. It was huge!he loved it and though he hadn't been eating very much recently he ate the whole thing so it had to be delicious. I would recommend this place to others. read more

A lot of the food we had was extremely oily. Hash browns tasted like oil, bacon was very rubbery and also tasted like oil. Eggs were ok, as was the toast. Service was good but overall the food was inedible. read more
