The wait staff is rude and unhelpful. I saw someone's child spill a drink, and they literally tossed paper towels at the guest so they could clean it up themselves. Our waitress waited to get her tip and then said they needed our table and basically kicked us out. It's a shame because the food isn't bad, but they take forever to serve, and nothing can cancel out being treated like dirt. read more

This place is super busy during the weekend but we decided to order to go which is a good decision. We got their medio pazole verde which was full with so much flavors. Everything is given on the side like cabbage and onions. We also got their botano platter which included flatuas which was good but really crunchy and the pork feet were pickled but was good as well. I had this place bookmarked for a while and my friend also went with her family and really liked it, so I finally got to go with my mom. The place is cute, warm, and cozy inside. The staff was very nice and the art inside was fun. We got the pozole flight and enjoyed being able to try all the pozoles although the white one was our personal favorite. What an awesome spot. Parking was a little tricky, street parking is wild. The wait was short for a Saturday morning , 10am ish. We got greeted and seated promptly and politely. The place was clean and well decorated. Very at home vibe. Love that there wasn't music blasting but it is loud in there, it's like being at a family get together. My husband and I visited Peke's Pozole on a Saturday night about an hour before closing, and we were pleasantly surprised! We waited around 15 minutes, which wasn't bad at all for a weekend night. The service was excellent, friendly and attentive without being overbearing. They came by our table a couple of times just to check if we needed anything else, which we appreciated. Now, the food... wow! My husband is a huge fan of Mexican food, and he absolutely loved the pozole, he also ordered two chiles capones filled with cheese, onion, and sour cream, he couldn't stop talking about how good they were! Having all three options lets you really experience the best of what pozole has to offer. We loved the huge plate of toppings (tostadas, limones, avocado, and more!). So good! I've been here twice and it does not disappoint. The service is great! Waitresses are attentive and friendly. I've had their pozole flight and my favorite is definitely red. This last time I ate here I had their maracuya margarita which was flavorful. I recommend the sopes was an appetizer as well. Parking is difficult but there was fast service very friendly; nice clean place and the flight of pozole was deeelicious. At first I didn't think I liked the white but it was nicely seasoned--all were. The table had oregano and spices and hot sauce. We had the appetizer platter which gave a good mix of things to try including their flautas, fresh and delicious, and their pickled pig feet which are as good as what I remember my mom's to be. Portions are just perfect to be able to try all three pozoles given. The taste of all three pozoles were delicious! I definitely recommend especially on a rainy or cold day. The service of this restaurant could be better the waitress that attended us was kind of MIA during our dine in. We kept trying to call someone for napkins but everyone was a bit busy. Ambiance of the restaurant is very small especially the downstairs part of the restaurant. Owner needs to fix the heater as the restaurant gets cold as people come in and out.
