Haven't been here in ten years; dropped in on a trip back to old stomping grounds. Clean, bright, rather empty. They were out of hot &sour soup so I went Japanese for the appetizers: Seaweed salad O.K. but in 3 layers with daikon on the bottom, cucumber in the middle --odd. Hamachi roll rather thin and pale, not a good test, rather ordinary miso soup. My guest got the General Tso's chicken which was a little dry, perhaps a little over done, sauce too brown, not tasting of orange at all. Great looking plate with a daikon flower; fried rice the color of coffee, yuck. Decided not to make "the test" of Kung Pao chicken and got scallops & shrimp in garlic sauce. This was pretty with a ring of cucumber slices around the edge but far too brown; just your Oyster sauce with some garlic added and FAR too sweet. Mushrooms, water chestnut, celery and onions made it edible, but I shall not be back. The news clip on the wall claiming this place as one of the top 100 restaurants in America is a sad, sad reminder of past times; rather a bad joke now. read more

Above average Chinese and Japanese food for a great price. Sushi was exactly what I'd expect from an overpriced, dedicated Japanese place but cheaper. The interior is dated and falling apart, but quaint for a quick stop. The location to the hotel next door is incredibly convenient. Friendly staff. Average wait times. I find the other reviews surprising and humorous. I don't know what you expect is better but it's nothing I've ever seen. read more

I absolutely love this place. I travel to Cambridge and stay at the hotel next door 2 nights per week. I always eat here at least one of those nights but usually both. The portions are big enough where I always have leftovers for lunch the next day. I have had every pork and beef item on the menu and have never been disappointed and their wonton soup is the best. Please ignore the negative reviews and give it a try. read more

The food was good (solid Chinese food) but it's really the service that was amazing and deserving of 4 stars. Our server was totally on top of her tables, very responsive and so polite and professional. The biggest detractions are that it's a bit pricey and they only have instant coffee. read more

Bring a roll of paper towels to blot the grease. The egg roll was almost floating in oil. We ordered tofu and veggies (ok) and walnut shrimp (horrible!). The shrimp was tossed in mayonnaise (!!) which was revolting. We couldn't complain because the waitress spoke no English. read more

Hands down the best Chinese food in the area. Their General Tso's Chicken is the best I've ever had. Not going anywhere else from now on. I've seen a lot of variation in different restaurants, as we ALWAYS stick with the same two or three choices, general tsos being one. They have it perfected. read more

The portions were much smaller than I am used to from Chinese restaurants. I order the General Tso's chicken. I will never order that again. The sauce was extremely watery and had little taste. The chicken pieces were not crisp at all. This was a take out order and the gentleman behind the counter who gave me my order and took the payment was not a bit friendly. read more

Food was amazing. I had the roasted duck and combination fried rice and it was amazing. My bf had the chicken and broccoli in garlic sauce and that too was very good. We shared steamed dumplings and a California roll for appetizers. It is also good size entree portions, we couldn't eat all. We will be back!!! read more

I've never had a bad experience here. I come so often, they know what I want. I recommend the pork fried rice (I get it with no sauce or peas), crab & cheese wontons and a pot of hot tea. read more

I stopped here because it was conveniently located on the way back to my hotel and there were already several cars outside. I ate the Miso soup, Edamame, and the Sushi & Sashimi Combo. The Miso had good flavor and A LOT of tofu which is my favorite part. The Edamame was good. The sushi & sashimi was also good. Overall I was pleased with my meal and would eat here again. read more

I got carry out. Szechuan beef, chicken fried rice, green salad w ginger dressing and vegetable egg-roll. The food was pretty good, I liked the salad and egg-roll the best. The restaurant was extremely clean from what I saw during pick up. The service was nice and promt. No waiting. I would go back. read more
