Two very attractive young gentlemen were very helpful today when I stopped by with my two granddaughters. They were very kind and made great suggestions for me and the little ones. I am 63 and now a-days its so hard to find young men with the kindness and may I say handsomeness of the two gentlemen today. You've got a 5 star from me !

Butterfly Kiss which is one of their signature flavors. It is birthday cake and cotton candy...YUM!!!

Pelican's is a great little spot to grab a shaved ice. I am warning you now, get a small and ask for an extra cup....They like to pack on that ice :) They have over 100 flavors, as well as numerous toppings to add like whip cream or nerds candy. Do not know what to try? I suggest the Butterfly Kiss flavor which was a mixture of Birthday Cake and Cotton Candy topped off with a yummy butterfly gummie! This will become a regular spot during those hot summer days!!!

Quick, friendly service, large portions, and delicious shaved ice and ice cream! They have numerous flavors to choose from. I recommend the shaved iced flavors with added cream (ex. cotton candy cream)!

    Good stuff!

Shaved ice with artificial syrup that comes in 100 flavors! There wasn't anything special about it but a fun process to mix the flavors. I would recommend eating it on the spot. If you bring it home and freeze it for later, it becomes an ice cube.

Enjoyed delicious homemade chocolate ice cream. Large portions. Nice seating area with games to play.

Friendly, knowledgeable staff but no where as good as the Apex location. Here we ran out of syrup believe it or not. Our ice was white in some spots. Very disappointing for the grown ups but the kids didn't care, it was dark anyway. Apex was the reason why we stopped here.

This stuff is so good. Quite a variety of flavors. Not chunky pieces like most snowcones, really fine ice and easy to eat.

We ordered something we've never ordered in a Kung Fu Tea before: Brown Sugar milktea. This particular Kung Fu Tea spot is in a fantastic location, next to our favorite ramen spot, Miso Ramen Bar. My girl ordered 1 we'd share while we finish our meal. Feng Cha in Morrisville was about to close so Kung Fu was the only milktea place we can get one by 9 PM. The texture of the boba is perfect, and the amount is well-balanced for a $6+ milktea. My first sip of the milktea itself didn't last a great impression, however. While I can smell the fragrant smell of freshly-brewed tea, I could barely taste the brown sugar flavor and the milktea doesn't taste as creamy as Feng Cha's or Milklab's. Even Tiger Sugar near H-Mart served better quality brown sugar milktea but it's slightly better than Breco Tea's disappointing Brown Sugar milktea. In other words: This milktea is average compared to other Brown Sugar milkteas we've tried. My girl loves its aroma and she says it's not bad. Customer service is fast: Barrista was able to serve our drink in less than 5 minutes. Ambiance is fine, place looked clean. Overall, I see Kung Fu Tea Cary as the McDonald's of the milktea industry - franchise looks as strong as Quickly's. and it'll be enjoyable to a casual milktea customer. But why settle for average when there are other milktea spots that can offer higher quality blends for about the same price?

I might have to taste their cakes next time like the crepe cakes. The lady who was there is not pushy and knew exactly when she needs to head to the cash to take orders. Great, lofty space...and nicely decorated throughout. Now comes all the disappointments. First of all, I was the one customer when I stopped in around 2:30 pm...and while the place itself was nice, it felt kind of stale. Total silence...no music. I also noticed that they changed things...for the worse. They no longer had on the menu this trio sampler that I had my heart set on. Also, I didn't find their drink menu that appetizing. Also, everything was now served in paper cartons...not actual plates and cups. This is a running pet peeve of mine. Since Covid, many cafes and bakeries have downscaled on cups, plates and utensils...to serve everything in cheap to-go wares. I expect that type of vibe at fast foods, like McDonald's and Taco Bell...not nice cafes and bakeries. I ordered this soupy dessert (forgot the name), along with this Crepe Cake, and this Mango Fruity drink. Truly, each and every item was forgettable. Just not that good. Then the service... dead-pan. The lady at the counter had this rude-cold demeanor, and did not flick even a slight smile even once. So yeah...NOT great all around. Aside from the place being so attractive, the foods, the presentation and the service was far below what you'd expect from a nice cafe-bakery. A huge disappointment.

Pricy, but comparable to similar shops. Check the mail for coupons. It's never too cold outside for ice cream in NC! I saw an ad for Scoop Dogz and decided to check it out. Even on a chilly November day, I was craving ice cream. This shop is located two doors down from Aversboro Restaurant. It's in a plaza with ample parking. The entrance is on the left and exit door on the right. Upon arrival, I was greeted by a welcoming employee. She smiled and asked if I wanted to try any of the flavors. She patiently waited as I looked through the flavors and menu options. The sundae suggestions sounded so good, particularly the ice cream and cookie dough combos. After much deliberation, I decided on two sundaes. Since they were out of some of the flavors I swapped the chocolate for peppermint and the caramel ice cream for butter pecan. The sundaes were delicious and well balanced. I especially loved the combination of edible cookie dough with ice cream. Not just small chunks but a whole scoop of cookie dough. Their flavors rotate so be sure to look at the display case rather than the printed menus. They also serve ice cream from Homeland creamery. The shop has a few seats inside along with a freezer stocked with pre-packed pints and a free to play Pac-Man game. Overall, we had a positive experience here and recommend this ice cream shop to others!
