    Regular & Brooklyn slice
    Rob P.

Pretty good pizza, especially for this area. The Brooklyn slice had a nice light, buttery crust. The regular " cheese" slice was good. It was a little doughy, maybe if they could get the underside of the pizza a little more crispy or well done without burning the top it would bump them up to 4 stars. The cheese & sauce were nice it just needs that crunch to put'em over the top.

This week I found out Pelligrino Pizza now makes a vegan pizza! We had a pizza with an assortment of veggies and goveggie (plant based) cheese was used. Definitely ordering from here now on and wayyyy better service than Pazzo (20 mins means 45 mins)

    Margherita & House Special

Came here with my cousin, we're working in the area & not many options. I found the small pizzeria clean. The Staff & I think the owner friendly. Now my take on the pizza. The flavor of the items on my pizza was good but I didn't care for the sauce. It was very sweet. I want my tomato pizza sauce to taste like tomatoes. I know some tomatoes can be sweet naturally I.e. San Marzano, but this was sugary sweet. I got a Margherita slice & a House Special with chicken cutlets on it. I tasted the House Special first. Good seasoning on the cutlets but that Dag gone sauce was ruining the flavor profile. So I thought it was the House Special. Then I tasted the Margherita Razzle Frazzle! Same sauce for both! Not cool. For me that is. Taste is subjective to personal preference. Would I go back if I was in the area? Yes. Would I seek it out? Nah, not likely.

One slice cut in half for a little pizza lover. Hot, gooey and smells fantastic.

Just a quick stop In this time but I will be back. Enormous slices. Perfectly cooked and the counter service was so pleasant. They even had a table delivery for the dining room. Many types of specialty slices, garlic knots and pinwheels. Pelligrino sodas. Perfect, classic and recommended.

When we got there, we found parking in front. It was around 3p on a Sunday. The place is spacious. They have large seating in front, a dining room and bar in the back, as well as a patio. I wanted to sit in the patio area but they have plants and herbs growing out there, and the bees have been festive this season. We ordered our pizza up front. The young lady that was helping us was very patient and nice. We ordered quite a few slices since they have a large selection. They heated everything up and put it all on trays for us. The condiments are neatly arranged near the pickup area. We sat and ate. The pizza was very good. I had a sauseej and roni sicilian, hubby had two slices of their chicken ranch, and our kiddo had their BBQ chicken slice, and a slice of a thicc sicilian circle pie - that thing was huge but really good! We ordered some drinks from the bar but we're a little disappointed that the juice they used is from a can. It has a fake taste and we didn't like that but everything else was on point. I'm sure you can't go wrong with a glass of wine. They have pizza kits and all kinds of other specialty pizzas. I was tempted to get a slice of their pepperoni slice with the garlic know crust. That would have been overkill for me. I made sure to grab menus so we can leave them over at the MIL's house for future ordering.

All of this, yet the food was still quite good despite all the misfortunes and mis-steps. I don't even know how to rate them ... 3.5 seems right, so do I go 4 stars for the solid flavors, or do l go with 3 because the pizza needed a third ingredient for complexity and a lot less grease, the white bean soup was made with red kidney beans, and the meatballs were in an ounce of this sauce... But that short rib pie could be something really special, I added a balsamic drizzle, even great with some horseradish. We definitely want to explore the menu more, am I right? He says hello, welcomes you, and makes sure you know something about his offerings. Sure, its a small place and sometimes they are very busy and do not have all the time in the world to chat, but ask any question and Dean is happy to help! Maria is soft-spoken and kind, and the food is always top notch. Service can be slow at the counter, they have been understaffed a few times while I was there, just Dean and Maria. But the food is worth the wait. On another night, eight of us ate in the dining room, which is very attractive, and the food was excellent! It is more of a pizza place than an Italian restaurant. Although they have a wide selection of different types of pizza slices, they are are very generic. Out of all of them I believe the OG Grandma pizza is their best. They try to overdo it with all these crazy flavors but if they stuck to the basics (6-10) different pies they can really take the pizza to the next level. Same goes for the dining food, I take quality over quantity any day. Again, its not BAD, but it wouldn't be a place I take my friends/family from out of state for authentic pizza/Italian. Something worth noting. I had a bad experience the last time I went there which unfortunately made me decide not to come back. If you haven't herd of 'too good to go', google it, it will help with story. I called Alfredos a half hour before closing to order 1 plain pie. I got a bad vibe on the phone like I was inconveniencing them. I arrive 15 minutes later I didn't want to keep them waiting and my pie is just getting 'sent' (Placed in oven) so I know its got a solid 10-13 mins (average) So I wait and while I'm waiting I ask the clerk "Do you do too good to go?" because I noticed a significant about of leftover pizza in display case. He replies "No" I then asked "What do you do with all of this pizza at the end of the night?" He replied "We throw it out" I know for a fact based on experience that MOST pizza places either give it to staff to take it home, or will sell it all for a cheap price opposed to just wasting it in the trash. So I ask and the guy gave me a really hard time. I said "If you're not taking it home, can I pay you (offer cash or charge whatever's easier) I don't want it free" He then rushed my pie out of the oven and said "Have a good night!" It really rubbed me the wrong way, what a complete waste. Take the cash and pocket it, share it as a 'tip' I don't care. Why would you not want to make MORE money and make a customer happy? Between that the the unprofessional delivery drivers in street clothes eating behind the counter and touching everything with their bare hand I said I'm done wit this place. They also worked with us when we ordered pizzas for a birthday party, which made the whole experience even better. This time we ordered an eggplant hero (with Alfredo sauce instead of red sauce), an eggplant rollatini roll, and a meatball hero. The eggplant hero with Alfredo was amazing. The eggplant rollatini is always fantastic -- easily our favorite eggplant out of the local places. And the meatball hero was great too. No misses. We also really like their pizza and end up ordering from here about every other week, which is probably the strongest endorsement I can give. One small suggestion that would make them even better: it would be awesome if individual slices were available for online ordering. You can order slices when you walk in or call, but having that option online would be super convenient for nights when we just want a slice or two for the kids and heroes or meals for us. Our server came over and told us that two of the items on the chalkboard - including one we had planned to order - had been sold out already. This was at 6 pm on a weekend night. So we went back to looking at the menu. Within seconds, our server showed up again - the steak had been 86ed. We went back to looking at the menu. Our server returned to our table a couple of minutes later and told us how he liked to rank the restaurant's dishes, then telling us about his top three in minute detail. We were pretty sure what we wanted at this point. But our server came back one more time to tell us that the salad from the specials menu - again, a dish we planned to order - was gone. At this point I began to wonder if we would be allowed to pick our own food for the meal. Anyway, we settled on another dish and beckoned our server over for his fourth (and first invited) visit to our table. We ordered. The food came in a reasonable amount of time. The pasta and pizza were good, the salad dressed with something a bit too acidic. We ate, paid, and left, still somewhat in disbelief. Maybe if this place had fewer items on the menu, they'd be able to stock more ingredients for each one. As things stand, it's a rather frustrating venue (albeit one with a clearly devoted following). P.S. The noise level in the restaurant is high - we were practically shouting to hear each other at various points during our dinner.
