Seasonal Ahi Tuna Poke Bowl
Mel K.

Beautiful historical setting. Great service. Loved the food. I'd highly recommend reservations, especially on the weekend. We managed to find room at the bar. Everything on the menu was sounding delicious. I opted for a seasonal choice and did not regret it at all ~ the Ahi Tuna Poke Bowl was amazing. They were out of buns for my husband's beef and cheddar sandwich, but he got Texas toast instead and enjoyed it. We would absolutely come again when in the area.

Chin Strap Chicken sandwich with Penguin fries. Very tasty!

Tried this place for the first time after living here for 6 years now. The location of this place…read moreis right next to the Dutchmaid Motel. There is a solid amount of parking around the building. Make sure you don't miss the entrance! Atmosphere: very chill, love the vibe with the lights and being on a deck. It gives a beachy vibe in some way but just very open air and relaxing. I saw they have a huge heater above the one part of the deck so I'm assuming that's for when it gets colder out since it's all open air. Not too loud and family friendly. There is a bar in the middle you can sit at and a mix of high tops and regular tables. Pretty clean too when we came. Service: our waitress was very nice, I forget her name but she was very attentive to us and the surrounding tables from what we saw. Very knowledgeable about the menu too. Food: wow those nachos we ordered from the appetizer menu was huge! Definitely recommend coming and just dining on the different appetizers especially the French fries....we brought them home as leftovers and they were just as great reheated in the oven!! They say they are "the best fries in town" I have to agree. Shoestring and crispy! The bangin shrimp was spicy (as it says) and delicious. Overall we will return and we are glad we tried this place out finally. If you're in the Ephrata area, I do recommend stopping by here for lunch or dinner.

Stopped by Bulls Head Public House to check out their brunch menu, and it was a great experience…read more We ordered the Ham & Brie on a pretzel bun with cheddar, Granny Smith apples, and apple butter, along with the Fish & Chips with a beer-battered fillet, lemon, and remoulade. Everything came out exactly as expected, and the flavors worked really well together. The Ham & Brie had a nice balance of sweet and savory, and the Fish & Chips was crispy and cooked well. Also had a mimosa with brunch, which was a nice addition. If you're looking for a brunch spot in Lititz or just a place for good food and drinks, this is definitely worth checking out.

Limited items but enough to choose from the theme is a British public house. They fully embrace that feeling I got bangers and mash , I now what a Cumberland sausage taste like, pretty good reminded me of a good breakfast sausage. The mash must have been made with turnip and potato as it was slightly sweet, onion gravy was spot on as were the carrots. The spouse went with the quesadilla. she stated the steak was really good. Ice tea for both of us . unexpectedly water was available for any one from a tap near the doors. Plastic cups, no purchase needed. Great idea! We shall return, nice place and good food is hard get any more. $42.30 plus tip we always tip at 20% ( or the spouse gets testy.) but the server / cleaner didn't get the idea it was for her, I actually had to say " this is a tip, for you! Stopped in to Mad Chef unexpectedly while traveling through Lancaster…read more My wife and I were hungry and tired from traveling through Pennsylvania. Thankfully Mad Chef was open later than most places so we got in before the kitchen closed. I enjoyed the low lighting with the brewery equipment shining in the background. Having the Phillies game on the tv's only added to our experience. Our drinks and food were excellent. I always like to enjoy a local craft beer, having it paired on site with fabulous eats is even better. I ordered Mr Dynamite Brown, their American brown ale which was fabulous. We ordered a small Pommes Frites (French fries) that were cooked in Canola oil. While light in color, these fries were cooked to perfection. Crispy outside, fluffy inside, salted just right. My wife ordered the pretzel and said it was her type, buttery, salty, and doughy. I ordered the Korean Pork Nachos, by far the best nachos I've ever had the pleasure to devour. I can't begin to describe how well the roasted corn poblano medley brought this plate together. Every bite had an explosion of flavor with the Korean glaze and Gochujang aioli. This dish blows Guy Fieri's trash can Brisket nachos out of the water. If ever in Lancaster don't pass up on the Mad Chef Craft Brewing gem.

This was my 2nd time coming to Mad Chef!…read more The first time I came here was about 2 years ago (before doing yelp reviews). I was not very impressed. This time around I cannot complain! Their specials are all revolving around the Masters which was unique! We tried the Pimento, Fried Green Tomato, Chicken Sandwich (The Pimento Birdie). This was a delicious sandwich that just screams Georgia! We also tried the Madfather Chicken Sandwich! Pesto, Vodka Sauce, Mozzarella, this thing was outstanding! The fries are always a highlight here! We got the bucket (had a bigger group) and it came with 3 sauces. 1 tiny little knock on the fry bucket....the entire bucket was not filled with fries. The bottom of the fry bucket had about an inch or 2 of crinkled up paper..... All of the food was outstanding. The beer was good. Tons of space and seating. Very easy ordering process. Go up to the counter, tell them your table number, and your food arrives shortly! Prices are high here! Expect a larger number on your check if consuming both food and alcohol!

They have delicious food , great service and a great menu…read more. They have a large dining room that u can have a party there , if they don't have the room booked , the over flow of customers can find a place ... I've was applying for a job there and toured the kitchen and met the manager .. it's a well run restaurant and I would have loved to have worked there ..,I was hired and then had some body issues so I couldn't stay employed.. I was around 70 and loved working with the younger people .. Try this restaurant,, they have great food , a friendly atmosphere and good management.. so many regulars dine there...because it's that good !!

You are a captive audience at this place if you are flying I guess…read more Here is my suggestion and humble opinion, there is no world in which this is italian food, a pre-breaded food service chicken patty and some canned sauce atop poorly drained spaghetti does not chicken parm make. (and if you look at pics here of the chicken parm dish in others reviews you'll see the patties are uniform in look which means they are pressed food service patties) Change the name to something like "Ironstone" (just rearrange the letters on the sign) drop all the alleged italian food and you are golden. Burgers look great, sandwiches look good, my wives salmon was ok, just please you have no business selling italian food.
