This is absolutely disgusting that I get a smushed sub that's 10 dollars. Every time I go to this location the works don't care they just throw stuff together, horrible attitudes JUST PURE LAZY BUMS. Why am I paying 10 dollars for a smushed sandwich???? This should be 3 dollars if that. Can't even reach them on the phone either I will seriously write a terrible review everyday until something changes with this location. Who likes to play with their money or their food. I would give zero stars if able. We ordered lunch for our office meeting the day prior to needing it online. Requested a 1030 am pick up time. 18 sandwiches in total. Paid for it online as well. $300 worth of food only to get there and it not only NOT be ready but be verbally assaulted by and argued with by the "manager slash co-owner" Robert for him not having proof of my order (I brought proof but since it did not come through on his end, instead of calling the proper chain of people he thought it better to attempt to degrade and demoralize me as opposed to accepting this document.) he finally called the franchise owner and ultimately made the order. I filed a complaint by corporate online email and was contacted by the franchise owner and offered 4 meals.... We spent $300! Not only was the service abhorrent but after returning from my day off I found out that most everyone's food was not made as requested. I did not mention this originally because I did not know about it. I knew mine was not made properly but chalked that up to spite. This "manager" is in desperate need of customer service training starting at a remedial level. read more

Wow. This was my first and last trip to this Penn Station. I arrived in person and walked up to the counter to order. I already noticed that there were several people waiting for food. I was called down to the register to order and I asked about monthly specials as their monthly specials signage was blank. It ended up being the reuben, so I took a pass. I ordered 2 chicken parmesan sandwiches with 2 fries. I moved out of the way to wait for my food. As I waited, several more people ordered their food. I continued to wait. There were two people in the waiting area when I arrived and they received their food first. No big deal. The one couple made a complaint about fresh fries and ended up waiting for more fries to drop - which caused an even bigger delay. The two people who came in after me received their food before me. There was even a customer who walked in after the two after me left, ordered, and received their food before me. I think I waited about 20 minutes before I finally got my food and I was the last person in the restaurant left. My biggest complaint is that the worker who was cutting the sandwiches, putting cold toppings on, putting the sandwich in the wrappers, and handling putting the fries in the bags was not wearing ANY gloves. The other worker at the fry station was only wearing one glove and still using the non-gloved hand to touch things. The workers were wearing masks, but 2 of them were not wearing them properly and had masks down revealing their noses. I cannot stress this enough: eat somewhere else. read more

The store stops taking orders 30 minutes before they close. That's ridiculous. They should post this on their website for sure.

Recent New Management has done a great job turning stuff around. Very courteous employees. Even if a mistake was made, they were quick to rectify the issue & were apologetic. All restaurants are dealing with staffing issues, whether it's having employees period, or just having competent people. I appreciate the effort the manager & employees were giving. The kids standing around there ( I won't even call it working) act bothered by having to make your sandwich or fries. They cuss in front of the customers and no lie we're smoking and passing a blunt to one another right by the fry machine towards the back where they think people can't see them. The last three times I came to this place I NEVER get what I ask for. I tried to give them a chance but when you mess up an order three times in a row it's just horrible. It's filthy, no one is wearing gloves, cashier has his mask down to his chin, etc. There's wrappers and napkins and other paper trash all over the floor. This has got to be the worse Penn station EVER. They never answer the phone no matter the time of day it's NASTY in the inside , floor sticky and slippery it feels like they mopped the floor after they mopped up grease and it has a a dirty smell when you walk in. Workers dressed like they at home cooking for their kids with slides and bonnets on. I've tried reaching out to the GM but they never responded to see what the problemS are. Don't let it be busy cause now they mad that they actually have to do what they're be paid to do. Drink station NASTY needs to be broken down and cleaned Properly. This location is clean, friendly and the service is met with kindness and respect. The food is great, which is what I expect from PS, and normally only takes 5-8 minutes to be ready to eat there or take home. I truly appreciate that the employees not only greet you with a smile but also refer to the older costumers as Mr. and Mrs., what an awesome way to be so respectful and go above and beyond! Make sure to check out their monthly specials before you order, it's usually a sweet deal that comes with fries and a drink which is normally the same price as just a regular sandwich. I've been to this location a handful of times for carryout, but the online ordering service is NOT the move. I've placed online orders here twice, in order to make my experience more speedy and limit my exposure during this COVID-19 pandemic. Both times, there were problems, specifically, my order had not been placed by the time I got there. I even came a few minutes past my pickup time in order to allow for some grace in case there were a lot of orders to be made. But they hadn't even started my orders. The food is good, but I think I'll pass on the online ordering going further. When you arrive, and your order hasn't even been started, that kind of defeats the whole purpose. read more

This store has the worst customer service. I stood for about 5 minutes under the sign that said order here. When I was acknowledged, I asked the guy who was at the grill where do I order. With a head nod I got the general direction of where I should be. So I scoot further down the counter as there are a mixture of people getting their food and waiting in no certain order. So I ask just kind of yell out where do I order. At this point all of the workers have their backs to me but have all at some point walked past without acknowledging my presence. I LOVE Penn Station! I also have to own my bias as this was my first job growing up when I was only 15 years old and it has since remained a very special place to me.Even so, bias aside their food is great! My usual is a Philly cheesesteak with onions, banana peppers and mayo and a small fry! So good! The bread makes the sandwich! It's so buttery and toasty and holds up the sandwich really well. I usually get my French fries well done because I like the extra crunch. The fries are cut fresh in the store and you can tell! Typically they drop your French fries when you order them so they're hot and fresh. I smile every time I visit because it brings back so many fun memories of being a kid, learning what it meant to work hard & having fun. If you're in the neighborhood you must visit! I have to rate this lower after the service I received today. I asked that they clean the grill not to mix my chicken with the beef and I was told he could do that. I then watch the cook put the chicken directly on left over beef. I went back and asked if that was my order. The guy them picked up the chicken put it back in the bowl, cleaned off the grill and put the same chicken that was contaminated on. His reply was it wasn't cooked all the way. I then said something to who I believe is the manager. I was told they would clean it prior to cooking my food, if not then I would rather they say it. The attitude of the employee wad awful. He then went to another area because they got busy. I normally like this location. Very disappointed. If I didnt have food for others, I would have cancelled it. Customer service is just as important as the food. I hope that they learn that. Cant tell what the food was like because my focus was on this experience. read more

This was too unbelievable to not post. I called in my order and was told 30 minutes, I arrived 30 min later and waited another 30 to get my sandwich. Literally 15 people waiting for sandwiches in the restaurant and none were getting served. The Mt Healthy high schooler on the grill was chatting it up with a customer/friend. The person wrapping the sandwiches did not cut the sandwiches and was pushing them back IN The Conveyor to keep them warm!!!!! Couldn't keep up. No one helped or cared at all!!! I didn't get what I ordered I immediately called & was told I was charged for a small special but when I looked @ my on line banking I was charged for a medium. Don't judge a book by its cover! This place may not look all that pretty on the outside but the product you leave with is pretty awesome! Their sanwhiches are great - hot or cold. My fav is the Chicken Cordon Bleu (for the french in me)! Top it off with fries and a lemonade or fruit punch. It can be very busy at just about anytime so prepare for a wait. read more

The Penn Station in NCH is by far the worst Penn Station ever. The place is dirty, the people are idiots( except the mid 30s manager with tattoos and longer hair) he's on the ball and very polite. My wife picked up a go order for us at the Penn Station in North College Hill, Ohio and noticed no one behind the counter was wearing gloves. I had already began to eat otherwise I would not have eaten the sandwich. I have a compromised immune system and cannot risk getting sick. Will not eat there again. I wish I could rate lower. I walked in and specifically ordered a Chicken Philly Cheesesteak with CHICKEN!! I get home to discover it was made with beef. Ok honest mistake whatever, I call up to the restaurant and the lady that gave me the food recognized my name because it's so unique and I simply stated that I was given the wrong order. She then proceeds to put this rude and curt "manager" on the phone by the name of Chris. I explained the issue again and he offered to only credit half the sandwich. That's no bueno I don't eat beef it's not like they put onions on it and I can just pick them off. The whole sandwich was messed up. So then he tells me to bring the sandwich back uh no. That's too far of a drive to fix YOUR error. I ask for his last name and he tells me not to worry about it that's it's just Chris. This is the worst Penn Station I've ever visited and it will be the last time I ever go to that one. Buyer beware they don't care if they mess you over. I have zero positive attributes about this location. Wrong ingredients on my sandwich on multiple visits. And the manager has no concern about the errors. Not even a " I'm sorry" after I expressed that could go a long way with a disappointed customer. Took my mother there on 27 aug 2017 she tried to call ahead no one answered the phone. After calling several times. Drove there and ordered inside I was watching the guys preparing her sandwich and noticed they were not wearing gloves. Called in my order and had it picked up by someone else. My sub was completely wrong, they'd left off all cold toppings (lettuce, tomato, pickles, etc) on a build your own sub. They also didn't give me my lemonade and the fries were the wrong size and cold. Instead of just apologizing and offering me a replacement meal like any decent restaurant who totally messed up an order, the manager insisted I needed to bring it back in, then and only then, he'd remake it for me. If not then I was out of luck. I brought back the remainder of the sub a few hours later. And demanded my money back. The best part was him asking, "are you sure you just didn't want me to make it over?" Yes, I'm sure, as I've already eaten at this point from a different restaurant who was able to make my order right the first time.
