Realizing since moving from the Philadelphia area 15 years ago, that getting a real Philadelphia cheesesteak is not going to happen, I found Philly connection and OK with it now. I used to go to the one on Lawrenceville Suwanee Road and really liked it there and the owners, but they closed. Fortunately, we found another one. It's just much further from home. They are friendly here, just not the same as the other location, because the owner watched my son basically grow up. This location always serves up hot, fresh, and delicious cheesesteaks with a smile. The only real downside is having to drive so much further. I've seen reviews that people have posted that the steak is chopped up so small it looks like dog food... I would not say that's not accurate description at all, but if you knew what a real Philadelphia cheesesteak was, you would know that it's chopped up very fine so that it is not chewy . read more

I love Philly connection. This location is my favorite. There is a drive thru!! :) My favorite sandwich here is Chicken Cheesesteak! This is the absolute best. I usually add Jalapeño to mine. They're always served hot and fresh. I have NEVER had an issue at this location. I was SHOCKED while reading all the one stars. I love their chicken Phillies! They are one of very few sandwich makers that use grilled chicken breast versus minced chicken. This is the worst Philly cheesesteak I've ever had. The meat was dry and chewy, the cheese almost undetectable and the bread bland but at least somewhat fresh. The curly fries were the only saving grace, although at the drive through they conveniently forgot them so I had to ask for them and they offered no ketchup or napkins after I waited 10 minutes for food with 2 cars ahead of me and another five just to get my combo together so was sick of waiting. Basically, most of the meat is very chewy and full of gristles- so gross. Also, the guy working the drive in window, turned around and checked on some of the bread being toasted by picking them with his gloved hand, which he did not change right after taking money. It is rare that I write negative reviews, but this was absolutely the worst sandwich I have had in a while. Please stay away unless you want to waste $10 for a horrible sandwich and drink. read more

My husband took me and my kids here and we all love it. The food is great and although it looks small from the outside it's quite nice inside(especially for the kids running around). I've been coming to and eating at Philly Connections since I was 5 years old. I can honestly say this is the best Philly Connection I've ever gone to. The location and store itself isn't the greatest, but that's why God created drive-thru's. DJ (the store owner) does not mess around when it comes to making a damn good sandwich. The critical mistake most people make when going to this or any philly connection and not getting a 10/10 experience is about how YOU order and how YOU consume it. Let me explain. Eating in the store, the sandwich is served on a serving tray and it does not allow the heat of the meat and the grease to soften the bread. Next, the correct order is a 10in original with extra cheese. The extra cheese is a game changer, ladies!!! Also, so when you get your sandwich to-go, its wrapped in a tin foil paper which helps cook your sandwich a bit better. Wait a solid 15min to open and eat your philly after recieving it... and finally, ask for a reward card! Every 5th sandwich is 1/2off, which is a good deal considering they aren't cheap! read more

The meat was pre-sliced which I was not to excited about. But the sub had a pretty good taste. The meat was cut thick so the was quite a bit of flavor from the salami and prosciutto. Called restaurant and was told first I don't have your order... then was told the driver has one stop ahead of you he will be there in 5 mins. Called back after 15 mins of waiting. Very good food. A bit pricey in my opinion, but you can find some good coupons every once in a while.
