    Plain chicken sandwich with Swiss
    Kendra B.

The food is ok but the place it's self is not. First the food the sandwich is alright. The fries are bland...very bland. Their not so bad to the point I would not eat them. But their not good either. Now Penn Station. I want to go to the bathroom and I went to go reach for the toilet paper and there was blood all over the toilet paper. After I went to go wash my hands there was no soap in the soap dispenser it was only water. When I was walking around the floors we're really sticky too.

I am a Penn Station regular, but this is not my regular location and I am thankful of that. The store is clean and the staff is friendly enough but the sandwich I received was by far the worst chicken cordon bleu sandwich I've ever had. Actually, calling it a sandwich is misleading. It was more like greasy cheese bread LOADED with lettuce (probably to hide the lack of meat), 3 slices of Roma tomato and sprinkled with a few pieces of chicken and even fewer pieces of ham. Considering that I paid $10.19 for it and paid an additional $1.19, for extra ham I shudder to think what it would have looked like had I not ordered the extra meat. It looked like they took skimpy portions for a 6 inch sandwich and tried to stretch it out into a 12 inch. It was disappointing to say the least. I won't return to this location again. It was waste of my money.

I've been to a lot of Penn Stations and this one is my favorite. Never fails to impress. If only it wasn't 5 billion calories....

Very good food, the customer service has taking a fall over the last few years, it's definitely one of the better sub shops.

Good burger; GF bun available…read more - - - - - - - - June, 2026 Visit Shake a shack is one of the nice food improvements to STL Terminal 2 / "the Southwest terminal!" We enjoyed a good double cheeseburger today. Shake Shack offers a gluten-free (gf) bun; like many places it crumbles. We should have known to just order the burger. Recommendation to use Great Northern Harvest gluten free bread instead - it holds its shape well!! The staff is very fun and friendly and helps take the edge off us travelers as we work through security and the noise of the terminal - thank you, Shake Shack team!! ----- ----- -----

Instead of the cashier rounding down the amount dues to $9.75 due, she rounded down on the change she gave us $10.20. We tried explaining that our change should have been $10.25, but she said "my boss told me to always round down". This company is not training their employees how to use procedures to give customers the correct change (round up or down on the amount to be paid by the customers, not rounding down on the change due to the customers) see the attachment. This company is also making extra money because their employees don't know basic math. If you're thinking, "Well, it's only $.04. Think about it this way: $.04 x 10,000 customers. The company received an extra $400.00. The country is trying to save money (it costs about 3.69 cents to make a penny.) However, business are making extra profits and consumers are getting RIPPED OFF!

This was the line at the time I had just ordered. I was sitting here by the charging stations/tables and that's where I ate, too.

But after an intense Costco trip, we were wanting a hearty sandwich. They are located in a strip mall, where they are many other busy businesses so parking can be a little tough. But going in, they were packed! Tip to tail, it was just people trying to get their food. And, that was us waiting a while to come in to pick up our goods. So, absolutely order ahead because it will make it somewhat easier. We ordered: The JD Cold Shoulder - cold cuts on a garlic roll with chipotle ranch. My husband loved his, and glad he ordered it with the garlic roll. Joe's Spicy Italian - this was spicy and sweet, and it really hits when you love a good spicy italian sandwich. You can choose your bread, and I opted for mine to be on a French roll. Great sandwiches, long wait, but just really good and worth the wait!

Since they close shortly after lunch, I'd highly recommend ordering ahead if you can. The sandwich was enormous....easily enough for two meals for some people and loaded with fresh ingredients. Every bite was flavorful and satisfying. At $20, the value was definitely there considering the quality and portion size. One of the best deli sandwiches I've had in a long time
