For those who don't want to read the menu on the wall.

Old fashion diner car restaurant. Lots of reviewers commented on the menu written on the walls but don't fret, you can access an electronic version of the menu. Signs are posted on every table. We were greeted by a very friendly lady who explained the menus and ordering process. The restaurant and bathrooms were clean. Food and coffee were good and fairly priced. We thought it was a good spot for lunch and will stop by again in the future.

Waiter(waitress..?) was so rude to my grandmas. We ordered two shakes and one banana split-- Gross banana on counter..? We got up and left this lady was so rude!! She glared at us as we did. Even rolled her eyes at us.

Hashbrowns burnt and turned into potato chips.

Came here for the first time with my wife and son. We ordered:…read moreBacon Cheeseburger w/ Garlic Fries- flavorful and good, but our least favorite of these 3 burgers. Garlic Burger w/ Garlic Fries- if you're a garlic fan, this was packed with a pretty strong garlicky taste. Superman w/ Garlic Fries- large and flavorful. Not too spicy from the jalapeños, but the veggies and bun balances it out. Banana Pudding- probably the best that I've ever had and I've eaten a lot. We got a combo with all garlic fries and a refillable fountain drinks. The burgers were made fresh and so juicy. The garlic fries were ridiculously delicious. The drinks were Texas made and they delicious. I loved the strawberry cream soda or the orange cream soda. Lots of different burgers and desserts to choose from. Overall, decently priced for the portions and the quality of the food. These burgers were probably the best fresh juicy burgers that we've had so far in town. We will definitely be back to try the other choices. Staff are very friendly. It was pretty busy so they gave me a heads up about waiting approximately 40mins which was ok for us cause we had time on our side. I was just happy and appreciative that they communicated that vs me just waiting forever thinking that they forgot about me. The restaurant is self order and pickup. As small as it looks on the inside, there's quite a bit tables to include a mini snack shop. There are additional tables outside too. It can get a little congested near the cashiers area. The parking lot is small and can be hard to find parking, but we scored a spot right in front. Some parked on the grass along the main road, just be careful.

Service was top notch! I could spend hours reading the writing on the walls and the signs inside and out. Aside from burgers they offer homemade desserts. We drove from Lake Somerville so it's worth the drive from anywhere!

My husband specifically ordered his stuffed potato with NO sour cream. When it came out wrong, I politely let our server know. She stared at me blankly for what felt like a minute, and when I asked how long it would take to remake it, her response was simply, "I don't know." No apology. No solution. No effort. My husband finally said, "It's fine," and she replied, "I'll just take it off the ticket." I was a server for 5 years. Your entire job is serving people and taking care of customers. Mistakes happen, but not caring is unacceptable. I tip well when people try. Today, I left $0 because the complete lack of concern was impossible to ignore. Nobody expects perfection, but customers do expect you to care.
